This has become a complicated three or four team deal. Somehow the Angels ended up with Dodger OF Joc Pederson. Info is still pouring in.
Good pickup for the Angels lineup and protection for Trout. With Betts to the NL, and the Angels picking up Pederson and Rendon to provide some protection, Trout should be able to dominate the AL even more than normal. This has become a complicated three or four team deal. Pederson to the Angels deal fell through
Another data point in the well-documented decline of Western Civilization: Turning MLB into a reality show.

Imagine a team picking its playoff opponent. Think about Brian Cashman and the Yankees deciding whether to face the Red Sox or avoid them in the first round of the postseason. All on live TV.
Well, it is probably coming soon to the major leagues.
MLB is seriously weighing a move from five to seven playoff teams in each league beginning in 2022, The Post has learned.
The plan is to have this all play out on a show on the Sunday night the regular season ends and have representatives picking teams on live TV

Another nauseous idea from the butt holes who run baseball. I'm beginning to wonder if these clowns including commissioner Rob Manfred even like baseball? Manfred is a horror show armed with a truck load of gimmicky modern ideas that suck as far as I am concerned.
A few days after that disastrous Astros press conference we are now witnessing a full scale Mutiny On The Bounty. All because of this castrated coward Rob Manfred and his phenomenal ineptitude and back room coddling of all the wrong people.
Things are progressing to an ugliness that appears unprecedented in modern day sports. Many are convinced the Astros players including once media hero Jose Altuve, were wearing cheating buzzer devices underneath their uniforms. Many feel Altuve was wearing one win he hit the series clinching home run against the Yankees last season which is why he wouldn't allow his teammates to rip off his shirt? This was not reported in the baseball final report.
Now the rest of the league is steaming mad. High profile players like Cody Bellinger are speaking out against the cheating and the clincher is teams are contemplating throwing at the Astros batters as payback. Baseball is one of those sports where players feel that wrongs must be righted. This has ugly implications but it just goes to show us what a league without proper leadership will descend to if there is no one to right the ship.
There are growing calls ( me included) for baseball to vacate the 2017 World Series which would mean stripping the Astros of the title and essentially leaving the winner column blank.
There are also calls to remove Manfred. He has compounded the mess by coming up with ludicrous rule changes including having relief pitchers have to pitch to a minimum of three batters. The same clown who complained about the length of games wanting to install egg timers on pitchers and batters yet he is more than willing to allow more electronic video reviews of plays that are worse offenders when it comes to slowing down the pace of play.
Below is a list of the minor league teams on the chopping blocks along with an article that slams the proposal. On the list is the Double A Chattanooga Lookouts one of the most beloved, iconic and historical teams. Manfred seems to me like some subversive enemy hell bent on destroying the game of baseball.

Just like everything in this once great country, non-Whites and jews are ruining baseball. Cheating is through the roof because 3rd world people do not adhere to the same principles of honor and fair-play that Whites have. It’s literally alien to their culture. Couple that with the economic pressures to use baseball to lift oneself out of extreme poverty and the case to cheat is a no-brainer.
Then you have all the jewish owners who buy teams for investment purposes and tank the teams competitiveness through their ineptitude and cheapness. See the Wilpons. They also fleece the taxpayers by demanding new stadiums be but with public monies or else they’ll move the team. Is there anything more jewish that this sort of financial ransom?
I’ve always loved baseball since I was a kid but I get the sickening feeling that it’s being hollowed out to the point of being unrecognizable. Again it’s the same feeling I get when thinking about the United States.
