It would be fantastic if Emilie Erasmus could eventually get invited a Golden League Meet with the biggest stars in the world. I think he can if he can get that first sub 10 under his belt.

mucci is an up and coming talent in the multi events. She has a bright future. Was hoping she’d crack the 13 second barrier. The times will get faster and yes they are big points for that time. I see a bit of Jessica zalinski in her (12.65) in her future

Nationals in 2 weeks, then Japan for world relays 11 and 12 May. Has a standby lane for Shanghai Diamond league 18 May and a lane at Nanjing World Challenge 21 May. Europe mid June to prep an qualify for Doha. SA standard to q for Doha is 10.03

ooh, that's a tough standard. He'll have to be at his best (as will they all). Anyway, great, we'll follow with much interest.

and this was another Mucci PB by 1/1oth. Done with a bit of pressure on - I like that in an athlete.
And you should see her abs! Intense competitor.
I was out at the track that last day watching with a few mates.

A heads up for Catriona Bisset - she started jogging to ease her anxieties and minor mental health issues. Last year she moved to another state to join Cathy Freeman's old coach Peter Fortune and get serious.
She just won her first serious top level 800 in 2.00.48 , leading all the way. What a gutsy young woman. Then she happily went into the 4 x 400 and brought her state home for Gold. Her comment was "I've just transferred from club runner to serious runner" after running a DOHA qualifier.

Mastermulti. I have a question for you. I'm wondering why Rohan Browning is not running the deuce yet? He needs to run some 200s as he is at the right age to train for both. He has a better build
for a 200 runner than Hale and even Jack Hale runs some of them in addition to dabbling in the long jump. Do you know if he will run some soon or if he is training for it? I see Doran has run some
and he is getting better all the time. Out of all of the australian sprinters I'm most excited about Rohan and his elite ability. I think Jack and Trae may be too short to hit the highest level but I'm hope
I'm wrong. I just think Browning has the genetics and the ideal physique to become a world class sprinter? What are your thoughts on him long term? Thanks in advance mate.

Also no doubt browning will be a " good one " ,,, remember still only 20 ....and running 10.08 just 2 weeks ago was always going to be hard on the neuromuscular system ....recovery very important .....if browning is going to focus on the 100 ..which I think he is suited to ...I would like to see him run over 60 meters in Europe next winter.....because his top end speed is right up there with Kiryu ...who as we know is a low 9.9 sprinter .....but I reckon a bit of quad dominant training over first 25/30 meters would be really important for the future ...guys have to excel in all parts of the race not just depend on raw talent ....something lemaitre should have been doing since 2012 .....still hoping some how lemaitre will ove to Paris to be coached by jimmy vicauts coach ...but that's wishful thinking ......

And I am sure browning and his coach have already learned a hell of a lot over the past couple of weeks ...maybe he might get a couple of 100 meter b races on the circuit in Europe , that would be really good for his development .....aka Emile Erasmus ........I reckon both these guys will give us a lot to cheer about ...remember it's a long athletics season this year .....and hey with boling in the states ...mouth is watering ...boling has real absolute ( non drugged ) superstar ability ,,,,once he is treated as properly and coached as a sprinter first jumper second .....**** the caste system ...

Exciting times for Emile. Running on Saturday night in a local series we have called the "Athletics South Africa Grand Prix". He is running 100 and relay. They are running in Bloemfontein right in the centre of South Africa. Could be good times as the elevation is 1395m. Weather forecast is good for tomorrow little to no wind and sunny during the day.

Not a great time, but Kristoffer Hari ran a time of 10.31 (1.5w) today in Arkansas.
I believe that is a PB for him.

Thank you jacknyc. I was starting to think he gave up track. He is very intelligent and will make bundles of money in his career someday outside of
athletics but could also make millions running the sprints if he becomes what we thought was possible a few years back. He has the genetics without
a doubt. In my honest opinion the schooling has set him back as his degree takes so much time. He is not your typical dumb jock. The kid is a border
line genius intelligence level. Maybe that is his kiss of death. Hari is great at everything. I really would love to see him pursue athletics first and let the
other career wait till later in life. It reminds me of Matic Osovnikar who was also very gifted mentally and physically. Oh to be born with everything. It
must be nice to know the world is yours!

Emile ran a second at the ASA Grand Prix. Beaten by Simon Magakwe. Simon 10.06 and Emile 10.15. He was slow out the blocks so some work to be done the next 2 weeks. Will post vid as soon as available.

european lists for times run all around Europe. I will sometimes check the IAAF.org Top Lists for world lists but is there a list I can look at for the top times in Australia and or South Africa? That would
be really nice to check on Emile and other sprinters we like to follow. Thanks in advance if someone has this info.

When checking the top lists on the IAAF website you can manipulate the selection. On the "filter" list in the third column "AREAS/COUNTRIES" select the drop box, default is world. Play around with the selection for breakdowns. The South African times are normally update within a week.

As I mentioned in a previous comment he as a standby lane for the Shanghai Diamond League on 18 May. He will fly to Shanghai in case a lane becomes available. He is also running in the IAAF world challenge in Nanjing on 21 May. He is in Yokohama for the world relays on 11 and 12 May. By te way the SA relay team ran a 38.88 tonight in Bloemfontein.

Adam Gemili won the Grenada Invitational in 10.11 with wind of just 0.4.
It seems that he is on track for a good season.

that's a nice time in still conditions. Now to make that metre back from Magakwe and get that start down.
You mentioned the areas section of results. Yes, I only really found that this season and have been having lots of fun with it

it is crazy how much bigger a man Emile is than nearly all his competitors. he likely has 6 inches and 50 pounds on many of them. such an impressive combination of size and speed!

Thanks for the video of his race. His start was a bit slow but once he came out of his drive phase he was flying. He looks very good this early in the season. Wishing him luck, speed and no niggles or injuries.
