Tomorrow night's game features the Washington Redskins at the Minnesota Vikings. It should be an ugly blowout win for the Vikings over a bad Deadskins team, but there are players to watch. Sadly it looks like Adam Thielen will be held out this week after his injury on Sunday, but it's better than making the injury worse.

Case Keenum will be making the start for Washington, and I always hope that he or Colt McCoy do well. Supa afflete Haskins is in the wings, and although I don't think he has what it takes, I don't want him to see the field. I can just see him being another Lamar Jackson completing 9 passes and running all over the place as defenses play at 3/4 speed. The crowd of DWFs will annoint him as another "AHDIW". Of course unlike the Baltimore line, Washington's line is fairly porous so it would be difficult for this to occur, but nothing would surprise me.

As for the Vikings, they are a white juggernaut compared to the average NFL team. Which isn't saying a lot. Kirk Cousins has been on fire ever since the WR's complained. And it wasn't Cousins' fault, it was the rancid play-calling. All of a sudden Zimmer has had an epiphany and has let Cousins throw the ball and all of a sudden the Vikes are unstoppable. Believe me, you don't have to be a genius to be an NFL head coach. Most of the posters here could do a better job than many of the savants leading teams.

Anyway, GO WHITE PLAYERS on the Vikings and Redskins teams! Was that rayciss enough??

Thanks for the weekly primers FootballDad. Haskins has lead feet by the way but I don't think he will play.

But talk about bummer. In a nationally televised night home game no less against a subpar team Thielen has to sit out. Looked like a nice juicy stat padding game for him but as fate would have it not to be.

Even on a bad day the Redskins have a more white friendly defense than the Vikings when you consider terrific edge player Ryan Kerrigan, active DT Matt Ioannidis and emerging ultra athlete LB Cole Holcomb. The Vikings essentially have only all pro S Harrison Smith so far this season. He is important of course but the Redskins have them beat in numbers.

And without Thielen, who is the main cog on offense, they could sputter a bit despite the terrific play of Kirk Cousins. Of course I agree with the rancid early season play calling comments mentioned above.

Too bad Redskins WR Trey Quinn hasn't had much of chance to run proper patterns so far this season. But there is yet another wild card that may show up in this game which makes me like the Redskins. Due to an injury S Troy Apke may see a lot of snaps. Not verified but while I like the Vikings in general, in a game without Thielen and with the possibility of young players like Holcomb and Apke shining I must say this is one of those games where one isn't certain as to who to root for which isn't a bad thing. Better than an all caste affair where one isn't conflicted in the least.

But wouldn't it be something if Apke and Holccomb come up big in front of a national audience? Nothing would give me more pleasure than to see the local beat writers who hate Apke eat a giant slice of humble pie.

Ben Gedeon starts at WLB for the Vikings, giving them two overachievers starting on defense, still down from the four they started for several years.

It's worth noting that the last time Case and Kirk had a showdown, Case was a Viking and Kirk was a Redskin

Holcomb, Kerrigan, Apke, and Ioannidis getting snaps on defense for the Whiteskins.

Kirk Cousins is still on fire.

Duh-Wayne comes in for Keenum and promptly throws an interception.

Cook only had 38 yards at one point in the 3rd quarter, but they just kept feeding him the ball in the second half and Haskins couldnt keep the offense on the field. He ended up getting 95 yards to put him 200-ish over CMAC with 2 more games played. That was a snoozefest. Apke played well and did come up and lay the lumber, which was good at least.

The Redskins defense played well I thought. Without the horrible play of Haskins they might have had one last shot to win that game at the end.

Ionnidas had some good hits tonight
Hes actually had a really good year in terms of QB pressure and tackles, it just hasn't resulted in sacks. He could have had a couple last week in the mud bowl but he slipped before he could hit Garapalo!

Same could be said for GB's Lowry and Lancaster. Not getting the glamour stats but still having an impact along that DLine. Happy to see some young White DL emerging!

Have to wonder why the media isn’t bestowing any MVP talk on Kirk Cousins yet - he has been the best qb in the league since that Bears game. Great to see him bounce back when facing such anti-white adversity. Hopefully Trubisky can do the same if Rodent Nagy actually expands the playbook as the media/coaching staff are trying to make Mitch look unintelligent.

Good one I hadn't thought of that.

While the game wasn't especially important and wasn't exactly a barn burner for me personally it was the most interesting game of the year thus far. Why?

Simple. The Redskins started four white defenders including two super quick twitch youngsters and two athletic down lineman even though Kerrigan is listed as a LB.

Finally I watched a game that had my full attention. Seeing multiple white defenders on the field makes all the difference in the world for me and as noted above the Vikings saw the return of LB Ben Gideon so they had two white defenders starting.

Except for LB Holcomb, who was out in spots during the second half the Redskin's white defenders were on the field most every snap. One note. Joe Buck has a nasty habit of missing out on who made tackles and often the player of neglect is white. Is it laziness or something more bothersome?

I guess the Kirk Cousins death watch gets delayed again. What a pity. The haters just can't wait for his downfall. I said it before the season. He is massively talented.

My grades on the four white defenders for the Redskins:

Ioannidis-as mentioned above was all over the place. 6 tackles and a sack. A

Kerrigan-because of the flow of the game didn't make a huge splash but still had a TFL and the Vikings offensive line had to resort to holding quite often. B-

Holcomb-caused a fumble downfield and was generally excellent. What a nice rookie season for this athletic stud with a bright future. B+

Apke-juiced like crazy seeing him out there and he handled himself just fine. A few tackles he didn't finish especially late but the contact was square. For a player that the local media hates and dismisses I saw a starting NFL safety with incredible potential. What impressed me most about Apke was he never seemed out of position and was in the right spots. If Cousins wasn't so pin point on one play Apke might have taken it to the house because he had the sideline play covered extremely well. But being in the right spots is an anomaly in this league these days even for veteran safeties. Made one really nice splash play and for crying out loud the ( black) Redskins secondary has been awful so far this season but Troy has been a bright spot for two games running now. Played the entire game and like Holcomb is proving to the so called ass wipe fake experts out there that they both have what it takes to be grade A starting defenders in the NFL for a long time God willing. They have an uphill battle though with the hate brigade.

So for Troy an encouraging effort but like most young players a few areas need a touch of cleaning up. I give him a B.

Weenieworld taking a swipe at Trey Quinn:

Trey Quinn caught 1-of-3 targets for 15 yards in the Redskins' Week 8 loss to the Vikings.
Jay Gruden's former teacher's pet is on pace for 46/360/2 at the season's midway point. The Redskins' non-Terry McLaurin passing game is a complete wasteland.

Plantation Pete catches yet another break with Matt Ryan out today. The Seahawks face one of the worst defenses in the league - would love for Schaub to be able to put together a surprising performance - again yet another team with a top 5 QB who neglect drafting and developing a young QB behind them (Benkert looked solid in preseason before suffering a season ending injury).

Watching the Colts-Broncos and Eagles-Bills. BBQ Brissett has all day to throw behind his snow plow. Still manages to hold on to the ball too long and goes running or gets sacked.

Minshew with a great throw - extending the play with his legs for the long TD.

Trubisky isn't able to play loose out there. He could of ran in for a TD but he stays in the pocket and tries to force the ball. The offensive playcalling sucks and my guess is Nagy is telling Trubisky not to run or play outside of the system.
