It's also telling how one "scrub" White linebacker after another steps in due to injury and instantly becomes the leading tackler on the team. Gee, you think there might be a whole bunch of similar potential star linebackers to recruit, or some underused ones sitting on NFL back benches and practice squads? Nah, carry on, there's nothing to see here. . .
Excellent point. And those white linebackers often don't get many more chances and then bounce around the league or disappear, even though they played well when they were given an opportunity.
