It's also telling how one "scrub" White linebacker after another steps in due to injury and instantly becomes the leading tackler on the team. Gee, you think there might be a whole bunch of similar potential star linebackers to recruit, or some underused ones sitting on NFL back benches and practice squads? Nah, carry on, there's nothing to see here. . .

Excellent point. And those white linebackers often don't get many more chances and then bounce around the league or disappear, even though they played well when they were given an opportunity.

Giesecki with an athletic 25 yard catch over the middle. Then Fitzpatrick runs for another furst down.

Cleveland goes up over the sea chickens in Cleveland.

Fitzpatrick leads the Dolphins all the way down the field for the TD with 6 seconds left. Much better game from him than Rosen.

The Buffalo Bills had Fitzpatrick as their starting quarterback back in 2013. They cut him to make room for upsider EJ Manuel. They should have kept Fitzpatrick as their quarterback.

What happened to CMac? I missed the game but 1.4 ypc? That's second time Bucs shut him down (although I'm stoked he scored 2 TDs so the day wasn't a complete waste).

This season McCaffrey has been a boom or bust type RB. He gets stopped cold often, but when he hits the hole just right, he's gone.

Off the top of my head, past examples are Sanders, Dorsett, and Sayers.

Kirk Cousins had an excellent game as the Vikings beat the Eagles 38 to 20. Here are his stats. 22 29 75.9 333 11.5 4 1 62 138.4. Note the 11.5 pass average and the 138.4 QB rating.

Mayfield with another dud of a performance. He has been hugely disappointing. The lack of discipline and game preparation is a reflection on the head coach.

Would be curious to see how 6'-4" George Kittle would do at RB; absolute beast on that play! ....Taller RB's like Eddie George 6'-3" ; Brandon Jacobs 6'-4 ; Latavius Murray 6'-3" etc...come to mind got the opportunity.
Kittle capable of rushing for 1,000 yards??

Love Cmac getting 2 touchdowns even on what was not one of his better days. He is still on pace for 1600 yards rushing if he continues to average 100 yards per game. Glad they have a bye coming up as he needs some much needed rest! I still think he has to be in the top 3 to 5 guys in the MVP Race so far.

Glad to see Scott Miller getting more involved in the Bucs offense. They need him to give more targets as his speed, athleticism and agility make him a threat to score a td even on a routine play.
He had 3 receptions for 39 yards today which is 13 yards per catch. This kid is electric. Tampa Bay has to find ways to get him the ball more.

Kittle is a beast. This game has been pretty good outside of the black announcer saying Donald on the Rams is the best football player to ever play the game lol

I've been watching a fair amount of the Denver-Tennessee game and Mariota is indescribably bad. How long will Vrabel continue to cuck and not put Ryan Tannehill in as the starter? The Titans are going nowhere with Mariota.

Gotta have a hole to hit.

Who is the TE Griffin on the Jets? He got 3 catches on the last drive, including a TD!

Sam Darnold is having alot more success this game than Dak.

The return of Sam Darnold from mono has given the Jets a big boost, they're up 21-3 over Dallas late in the first half. Darnold already has 218 yards passing and 2 TD throws, including a 92 yarder!

Yeah, like I said he looks much better than Dak. Glad to see him having success and connecting with the TE Griffin.

He was with the Texans previously, was never really utilized enough, you can clearly see that this guy is as physical of a pass catcher as any

Imagine if Jerrah had paid him already!

I was going to start Kittle in fantasy but I heard he would be limited. Turns out kittle with a bad groin is just as good.

The Falcons defense is Godawful. Since their super bowl appearance they have been on a downward trend - lots of high round picks invested on that defense which is one of the worst in the league.

Darnold is the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck. He is playing with an equally bad supporting cast but his presence is lifting the team. Contrast that with the black quarterback led teams who build around the quarterback to cover up their deficiencies. .

Mariota and Winston will both be replaced hopefully in the offseason. The question is will they draft Burrow/Herbert or replace them with quoatas. My guess is Hurts is going to get the same type of first round hype.

Witten scores on the TD catch which is called back on the phantom offensive PI call by the Dallas receiver.

It’s really important for young, white QBs like Darnold, Goff, Josh Allen plus surprises like Kyle Allen and Minshew to do well in the face of the relentless onslaught to blacken the position.

Mayfield is definitely going thru some sort of a sophomore slump, I hope he can right the ship. Daniel Jones has shown enough promise that I think he can have a long NFL career. Trubisky is unfortunately stuck with an organization where historically QBs never do well.

And finally, glad to see Jameez Winston return to top form with 5 INTs today.

David Johnson and Zenner were both FBS RBs that came out the same year. Zenner was a draft afterthought while Johnson was drafted to be the focal point of the AZ running game. Just a little trip down the caste football memory lane.
