Alright, week 6 brings us perennial CF favorite New England Patriots at home versus the former Ghanian Giants. They are closer to NY now, perhaps mid-Atlantic Giants. For NY I am really high on their hated first round pick QB Daniel Jones. I hope he does well, but I expect this to be a blowout in favor of the Pats.

In other news for week 6, the Steelers QB Mason Rudolph was back at practice today after being taken out of the last game with a thug hit.

I like rooting for the Giants more now. Let's be honest though. This shouldn't be much of a game. The Pats are 17 pt favorites to win. Wow that's a large point spread!

As for the Steelers, I would not play Mason Rudolph this week no matter what just as a precaution. The Steelers have only won 1 game and are in for a long year. Don't risk this kids
health and future in the league over a regular season game. Health is always first.

Hope to see most of the other teams we root for continue to excel. Hope Cmac continues to kick ass!

I don't think Rudolph will play, but the Steelers are in a weak division and aren't out of the playoff hunt just yet even though they're still quite a longshot to get in. Cincy is terrible, the Browns are not very good to this point, and the Ravens and their Blank Canvass eeked out an overtime victory against the Steelers last week otherwise Baltimore would be 2-3 and tied with the Browns and Steelers for the division lead.

The entire AFC is weak this season except for the Patriots, Chiefs and maybe the Bills.

Looks like David Mayo will be getting another start at ILB for the Giants. If the Patriots dominate the game as expected, he could have a big night in the tackle department.

I hope it's not a total blowout. Go Pats but I would love to see the Giants make it entertaining. Daniel Jones can play and will be a pro bowler! The Giants are getting better and have a few
more of our guys. Hope the trend continues.

Winovich with the TD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took a blocked punt "to the crib" as they say. Nothing really special, except one of our guys scoring a TD. It just makes it that much harder to ignore him. I'm glad Greg Gumbel screwed up Chase's alma mater (said Wisconsin).

Gunner O. with his first career catch. He looks explosive.

Now LaCosse is injured again. Too bad, because they’d just released Ben Watson and anointed Izzo/LaCosse their starters.

Gunner is getting a whole lot of snaps. Needs to make something happen here to break into the line-up.

Gunner O is looking at home out there. What more can you say about Edelman. He has 7 rec. for 70 yard so far. Hoping for back to back 100 yard games for Julian. Izzo looks good too.

At least Zenner is free to try out. Nall is stuck on a stupid practice squad last i heard or was he cut altogether?

I hope Edelman gets a 1000 yd season. DWFs use his regular season stats against him to belittle his post season heroics. He is clearly a top 10 receiver but in the Patriots offense you don't have players demanding they be "feed" and put up good numbers. Instead they win championships.

Edelman is a HOF. If he wasn't the wrong skin colour no one would dispute this. 3 rings and a SB MVP. Second to only Jerry rice in most postseason statistics? How could you argue against him?

Nice to see the Pats win behind efforts of Edelman. Gunner O emerging is exciting!
Seeing Winovich dominate along with Simon establishing himself as a respectablestarter is pleasing to see as well! Life after AB seems back to normal for NE.

So called copycat league...only white running back allowed to start is coincidentally the best in the league at the moment. You’d think this might encourage some teams who are interested in winning over “diversity” to get behind guys like Zenner, Nall and Burkhead but I guess not. Gotta keep the league “diverse”. 1 of one and 31 of the other sure is diverse.

Eric Dickerson of all people stated today on Cowherd show that CMac doesn't get respect for being as good as he is because he's a white RB. Cowturd quickly swept that notion under the rug.

Bucky, 3rd team is what was noted in an article linked on this site by a Detroit paper. My count is Zenner has had 4 workouts: First New Orleans. Next Arizona. Then the N.Y. Giants. And most recently in Tennessee.

Giants seemed to be Zach's best chance, right now. Top two RB's injured. Against the Patriots N.Y. went with 3 young, not so talented undrafted free agents (including the black undrafted FB running) and they stunk up the joint. They cut their #3 today, who started Thursday and fumbled in consecutive games,. However, they signed some veteran black named Javorius, who averaged a whopping 2.7 YPC last season, to take his place. Javorius is a former 4th round pick (2015), so he must have "stunning upside", even if he hasn't displayed it yet?

P.S. Eric Dickerson shared a backfield with Craig James at SMU in the 1980's; tandem was dubbed the Pony Express. James was the last true white running back seen as a likely first rounder (prior to CMac), but signed for big money with the USFL prior to the NFL draft -- hence he never got a chance to be drafted in round one. Prior to Peyton Hillis, James was the last white running back to rush for over 1,00 yards in 1985. He led the Patriots, who had very mediocre quarterbacks at the time, to the Super Bowl.
