It's not a good week when both Brees and Rothliesberger get hurt. With some young black QB's playing very well I don't like to see any openings.

The league will start to adjust now and over the next few weeks the black quarterbacks will start falling back to earth - the same thing we saw in 2012/2013. Way too many wide open receivers, short passes that do not go 5 yards past the line of scrimmage, blown assignments on defense will all get adjusted.

Rudolph played well - his INT hit the WR right in the chest and it bounced off him. Hill will hopefully start after Bridgewater (who's whole career has been hype) gets exposed.

Don't be so sure; this is pretty much what he did in Minnesota. Only difference is he had Adrian Peterson and a top defense to lean on...

I do notice though, Crablegs and Scam have been getting it from the media; Probably with the emergence of Mahomes, and I guess Prescott and Watson to an extent, those two bums are old news..

True, I believe he did have other offers but if he signed with the Saints my guess is the other offers were not to be the starting QB. I do agree that Anus, Scam and Mariota have all been cast aside by the media and if all three struggle this year hopefully they are displaced by white QBs.

Crissie blaming Matt Ryan for overthrowing WRs on back to back throws - both receivers had their hands on the ball.

What the hell is going on??
First Foles goes down
Then Darnold gets sick
Then we lose Ben, Brees, and now Wentz is out of the game....

The casts for the commercials for this game seem to be about 80% black. Just watched one for Hyundai with a "family" theme that showed about 40 people altogether in a series of shots, not one of them a White boy or man.

Gutty effort by Wentz with his two best WRs out of the game and Atlanta putting lots of pressure on him

All Nathan Gerry did tonight was make plays when he got a chance to be on the field. I dont know what more he has to do to be full time starter! Phillys linebaker formations are kind of weird where they play one Mike LB with the other LB lining up as a pass rusher a lot of the time. That being said, he should see more playing time after his performance on prime time tonight

My .02 Don's house Don's rules.

I’m late to this discussion, but just wanted to point out that as the owner/moderator of this site, Don Wassall gives everyone a really long leash. I probably should’ve been banned on multiple occasions due my numerous Carson Palmer bashing posts (lol), but the most I’ve ever gotten was once a deleted post I believe, and a couple of mild warnings.

In terms of wiggers, mudsharks, and coal burners, while it bothers me, I’ve now moved past it when it comes to white athletes, it’s not something I obsess about. But I also dont put white athletes on a pedestal as if they are immune from criticism, the ones who bother me the most are the Chris Long types with their in-your-face, sanctimonious SJW garbage.

Cooper Kupp 67 yard TD catch ...the run is one for the ages!

Here's a video of Kupp's highlights for this game. His 67 yard run starts at 1:08. I understand it was ruled down at the one but it looked like a touchdown to me without examining it too closely.

Yeah Finn I here ya, I myself loathe the white athletes who support the caste system, but they like Don says have little leverage and I will give a 20something a break since we adults basically have shackled them in a horrible corrupt system policed by some of the worst humans on the planet. But since even the Contard Clowns give credence to being ruled by words ending in Ism, Ist and Phobia here we are in Crazy Town.

That was a great run by Kupp, if only the Packers had him or Edelman. Yesterday the second or third receiver basically stalled two drives that I can think of from very poor YAC, so much so that Rogers had the WTF look on his face. And note Thielen did this once as well, going from a sure Third and Short to third and more, all but removing run from the equation.

Been busy with things other than the NFL but tried to catch some highlights. One "highlight" was a Marcus Mariotta six yard run. Followed by a field goal. Now why an ordinary six yard run in the highlights. I don't know who makes these "highlights" decisions but it seemed a bit fishy. Giving somebody a bit of a boost maybe. Lord knows he could use it.

There's going to be continued hype about the black QBs who are doing well -- this week's upcoming game between the Chiefs and Ravens should be a true worship-fest. The likes of Mahomes, Jackson, Wilson, Prescott and Murray are dominating weekly projections just now, especially fantasy football projections, and this will only get worse with Brees and Roethlisberger out and Darnold's development on hold for a while.

But all is not well on the black/minority QB front -- Winston and Newton both look bad, and none of the others threw for more than a measly 165 passing yards yesterday. Bridgewater was 17/30 for 165 yards, Brissett was 17/28 for 146, Mariota was 19/29 for 154, and Watson was 16/29 for 159. Watson was outplayed by the rookie Minshew, who was 23/33 for 213 yards and also ran 6 times for 56 yards, while Watson ran 4 times for 5 yards.

Even when Andrew Luck was kicking ass last season, the *media* was pushing Brissett as a franchise QB. I watched enough Indy and heard them talking up Brissett quite a bit, almost trying to push Luck out of the way, someone may be able to back me up on this. What else can we expect? And Newton, Prescott, Winston have notable injury histories. I'm not bringing up Bridgewater in this regard because New Orleans could make some moves.

--There's at least 16 young White QBs better than Murray, but that ole Caste System, they get pushed to the fringes of the league. Prime year guys.

I agree with the Kupp play being the play of the year so far. I saw it live and is it me or did they fail to replay his "TD" when they were reviewing it? Typically they spend a half hour with slow motion from every angle including "satellite" shots to get it "right." Here they quickly glossed it over. Maybe there was one angle replay? Cripes. Not the end of the world but it looked like a TD and aren't they supposed to go with the call on the field if the replay is inconclusive? The answer is "yes" with an asterisk attached for "special cases" perhaps?

I mentioned this in the college football thread but I was happy that a player like Cole Beasley have a nice chunk yardage day. For me I prefer seeing a WR stat line of something like 4-83 rather than the dink and dunk line of say 7-45. Just a personal preference. Don't ask me what the Steelers are doing with Switzer. The way they use them serves no purpose. Oh and Josh Allen is quietly 2-0. Love it.

There is rabid talk in the NY talk stations to get QB Daniel Jones on the field right now. I would prefer they ease him in mid season. The team is not settled and their WR situation is poor at the moment. Not fair to throw him in with the wolves just yet. That said wouldn't it be neat if David Sills emerges from the PS and he and Jones make a great tag team down the road? I must be dreaming?

By the way what is going on with the Vikings? They hired a new OC late last season and that is when their up tempo passing game went for a dive. Early on last year they were playing it cool and fast and Cousins and Thielen were racking up huge stats. It was great to watch. Now they have this mind set of a ball control running back centered offense and both Cousins and Thielen have suffered. Cripes bring back that wild west offense. Thielen "salvaged" a 5-75 stat line and nice to see Chad Beebe go 61 yards on his one catch but Cousins seems to be muzzled. Set him loose. The Vikings are not winning a Super Bowl with this dried up raisin offensive scheme.

Of course Taysom Hill doesn't get a chance to play any QB even though Bridgewater was totally ineffective.
On my way to NOLA today listening to some Saints broadcast, the radio team was busy slobbering over Bridgewater. Touting his "Pro Bowl" credentials and how he's going to be great. They also totally dismiss Hill, saying he's "old" at 29-30 years old "pretending" to be a QB.

With Darnold out due to mono and now Trevor Siemian out injured the Jets have former Washington State Mike Leach air-raid QB Luke Falk in the game. I liked him a couple of years ago as the Cougars QB, hope he does well here.

"Booger" with nothing good to say about Baker Mayfield. For some reason I think "Booger" won't be nearly as harsh when young black QBs are playing on Monday night games. And both announcers studiously ignoring Joe Schobert, the tackling machine who is the best defensive player on Cleveland. Check that, "Booger" did single him out on a run by Bell in which Joe was juked out, referring to him as "53." Maybe he doesn't even know who he is.

Who are the two mystery meats ESPN is showing "singing" in a prepared video as part of the halftime show? I guess the fact that one is wearing an Arctic style winter coat indoors in September gives a substantial clue as to his background. Push that agenda every day in every way.

They do one of those asinine half time performances every week - I usually put it on mute. I never know who the "artist" is.

Was hoping to see Berrios on the field with the offense tonight. Figured he’d have a bit more chemistry with the backup quarterback..

And yes, schobert clearly being ignored despite two tackles for loss. But they’ll go on a five minute soliloquy every time Christian Kirksey makes a tackle.... in fairness, they did give a head nod to Blake Cashman who has been terrific so far in a starting role...

Schobert now up to 10 tackles, 8 of them solo. But hey, he clearly doesn't have Kirksey's upside.
