2019 NFL Week 16

4INT for Winston. Man is he talented! 28th of the year.

Now on to The Bills/Pats!

Definitely looking forward to this game and the Rams-49ers after that. In stark contrast to the early game black quarterback Coal Bowl, we now get to watch the GOAT Tom Brady and three of the best young white quarterbacks in the league.

I thought Winston might have a chance to threaten the all time interception record for a season so I looked it up. The record is held by George Blanda with 42 in 1962 in the old AFL. Second is Vinny Testaverde with 35 in 1988.

Rex's fumble was the result of a very good defensive play by a player coming up behind him. The Pats went right back to him on the first carry of their next possession.

Would have been nice to see Allen hit Beasley on that crossing route on third down.

Its good to see Edelman playing, even if he is a little banged up. He's been effective so far, with a few catches, including one for a first down. And now Brady connects with him for another third down conversion.

Matt Milano with the 3rd down tackle on James White, forcing NE to punt. This is a well-played game so far, with few penalties.

Ed now getting doubled.

N'keel Harry has shown he can make some plays in this game and some others. This is good, because it will take some pressure off Edelman by making it more difficult for teams to double team him. Harry is in contrast to Sanu, who often looks like he doesn't run the right route and isn't on the same page as Brady. There was one play in this game where Brady threw the ball to the outside and Sanu cut to the inside, resulting in an incompletion. You have to think Brady was right on that play and Sanu was in the wrong spot. That has happened quite a few times this season.

Bad fail on 4th down for the Pats. Sanu missed the block, and Harry couldn’t beat one man for a 1/2 yard. It should have been Edelman.

Heck of a throw and catch by Allen and Knox. I was about to post that I wanted to see something clutch from Allen.

I like the fact that the stat for throw-aways for the whole season for Brady was shown. I have not seen that before.

Ah ****, was he ruled down? I saw the TD pass went to a big ol' OL instead.

Big gain to Beasley on the short slant. Allen should be utilizing him as much and in a similar manner to how Brady uses Edelman.
