So happy for Mitch Trubisky. Even when the team sets him up for failure he finds a way to win. Running or passing he can flat out play!

He threw some gritty passes. Aikman kept thinking they were going to be picked off, but he placed the passes perfectly.

I hate to say it cause the man has had a legendary career, but I think one of the Cowboy's offensive problems is playing Witten ahead of Jarwin. He is simply a much better athlete at this point and their offense would be faster and more dangerous down the field!

I hate to say it cause the man has had a legendary career, but I think one of the Cowboy's offensive problems is playing Witten ahead of Jarwin. He is simply a much better athlete at this point and their offense would be faster and more dangerous down the field!

Witten is a reliable security blanket for Prescott - most black QBs have that luxury. The Cowboys could use alot more two TE sets though and utilize Jarwin alot more than they do.

Trubisky could have gained more yards on the ground but he flopped down too cautiously on several occasions. Why he was not allowed to use his athleticism earlier in the year is a big mystery.

Remember Seth Devalve the 4th round pick from a few years back? He played WR at Princeton and "converted" to TE in the NFL. His best season was 2017 where he caught 33 passes. He is with the Jags now?

Well now there is Jesper Horsted of the Bears. He also was a WR out of Princeton last year but he had much bigger stats than Devalve there. Both are 6'3" but Horsted ( 4-36 tonight) who also converted to TE in the NFL, was never drafted. For the second straight week he looks like a legitimate NFL TE and or hybrid of some sorts.

One other thing I noticed at the end of the game. Nebraska LB Luke Gifford, who was undrafted, is on the Cowboys playing a coverage fetch. Better than nothing I guess.

If the local media was honest they would agree that S Heath and LB Vander Esch are true stars and without them the Cowboys defense is pretty bad. Especially the defensive backs.

I'm excited to watch the Miami Dolphins again. Somewhere out there guys like Jim Kiick and Larry Czonka are smiling right now remembering the good old days. Hope this trend
similar to the Pats of the last decade continues in Miami. If it does they actually might eventually become a good team again. It's really simple. Play the best players regardless of the

Kwiatowski has been very good this year - have to wonder how much Vic Fangio played a role in keeping him on the bench during the first few seasons of his career - Fangio has relegated Josey Jewell to wstd in Denver.

The Caste System has kept black dominance for so long by signing players off the street rather than giving White players a chance. But the White dominance at tight end -- or the decline of the black talent pool at the position, probably a mix of both -- has gotten to the point that teams now play obscure White tight ends, ala the Bears, over black TEs. Gotta love such a big crack in the Caste System, an important indicator of how the entire league would/should be without its media-supported and enabled extremist affirmative action policies.

Last month the Denver Broncos worked out 16 defensive players at the same time and all 16 were black or Poly. NFL teams worked out 27 defensive players that day and all 27 were black or Poly!

This shows how deep the Caste System is, that there are virtually no white defenders being considered for practice squad spots, even though several white stars from the defunct AAF or recent XFL Draft Picks are available -- i.e. Karter Schulte, Phillip "Scooby" Wright, Ben Heeney, Greer Martini and others. How about some talented white, rookie DB's that shined last pre-season like Parker Baldwin and Tyler Sigler? Very few white defenders are even in the "pipeline" for NFL practice squad jobs, let alone active roster spots.

Meanwhile, at the "non-Caste" positions (Tight End,Fullback, Offensive Line), there are a steady stream of white no-names trying out each week and NFL practice squads are littered with these Goys. In the last few weeks Cleveland, Chicago and Atlanta have debuted white, rookie tight ends from Ivy League schools. All three scored touchdowns and made immediate impacts for their teams. And, of course, all three where undrafted. Actually, that's a great thing, just wish white wide receivers, tailbacks and defensive players got the same chances. My guess is, if they did, there would be a ton of Ivy League grads in the NFL.

Leo, I agree with you regarding Fangio. Hopefully that vile caste slut is fired soon. He seems like defensive equivalent of Arians. Disagree regarding the Bears, however. If the Bears did run the table that could mean they sneak into the playoffs over the Packers, Vikings or Rams. And I absolutely don't want to see the Rodent emboldened by making the playoffs again. Clear eyed feet on the earth analysis that exemplifies the slim pickings mindset we have had to accept in order to desperately find reasons to root for certain teams. Too often we have to chase crumbs.

Speaking of which. I am in currently reading "Shula" by Mark Ribowsky and I think many of us here can appreciate the gallows humor of this faux paus. That in a second. Shula was a fast DB in his day something I didn't know and he played for the Browns and Colts before hanging it up with the Redskins. His vintage Colts teams had plenty of white players in taboo positions but no need to go into a historical revisit on that theme here. Maybe someday in another thread. I am obsessed with the amount of white stars in the NFL during the 1960's.

But anyway Shula's college teammate from his small Catholic College was also drafted by the Browns but ended up more of a bit player for them. Well when he landed on the special teams ( coverage fetch boys) a local paper screwed up their headline saying Carl Taseff has been named to the "dickoff and punt return teams." Ha!!!! No need to expound on that wise statement.

When Bills and Ravens play each other, it will mark the record of rushing yards between starting QBs. What do you know, one of them is white and has more rushing TDs than the other.

Both A.J. Klien and Kiko Alonso will not play against the 49ers due to injuries. Klien has a banged-up knee and Alonso has a thigh injury. That will leave Trey Hendrickson as the only non-melanin Saints defensive player. If the Saints lose that will put Seattle as the number one seed for the play-offs. Ugh. Alonso has really been playing well lately and it seems his playing time has increased. It's a shame he is injured at the same time as Klien. I think most here would probably be pulling for the 49ers. Boy, I'd hate to see Seattle have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, though.

Looking at the slate of games today:

Ravens vs. Bills is the big one of the early games. Hopefully McDermott is smart enough to spy jackson and force him to throw the ball - he is not a consistent passer - eliminate the running threat / show different fronts and blitz packages - confuse him with different looks.

Broncos - Texans - hopefully Drew Lock puts up another solid performance showcasing his arm strength and scrambling ability.

Dolphins - Jets - hopefully alot more of Laird in this game for the Dolphins and some Zenner too! Geisicki and Berrios are two other players to watch out for.

Chiefs - Patriots - my guess is Brady is pissed and will go on a tear down the stretch. Hopefully he looks to Edelman early and often. Run the ball against the Chiefs soft front four too!They should of held on Holister rather than trade him to Seattle. The ******* Man's play has slowed down in the past few weeks so hopefully Winovich and Simon get to him today.

Steelers - Cardinals - Hopefully "Duck" outduels the magical midget and the "revolutionary" horizontal offense of the Magical Midget Jr. today.
