With Everette out, Higbee is over 100 yards (and a TD) in the first half.

Goff looks better today, as anticipated. It would be nice to see the Rams win out and get into the playoffs after a highly disappointing campaign.

Video of Laird’s first NFL TD. It seems like his teammates were very happy for him. Hopefully, it’s one of many good games for Patrick and he becomes a regular starter at RB. Flores is a fair, no-nonsense coach that gave him a chance after a good pre-season. He’s accustomed to being part of a “white friendly” organization (at least on offense), so a white skill player is nothing new to him. Welker, Edelman, Hogan, Amendola, Gronk, Woodhead, Burkhead, etc.

He also had 43 receiving yards, a department where he really excels.

It took injuries to Ballange and the dismissal of Walton for Laird to get his shot. Sorry but Flores does not know his ass from his head. Similar situation happened with Hillis.

Jared Goff with 323 yards at halftime! His opponent Kyler Murray has 67. I figured the Rams would get healthy today against Arizona's "defense," but would be nice to see Kupp have a big second half; Woods and Higbee have been Goff's main targets in the first half.

It's gonna be real hard to run behind that Dolphins line. Still, I'm glad he's getting his shot but if he's below 4 ypc, he will be easily dismissed and Not For Long in this league. Not like they need an extra excuse NOT to play or to cut a white RB.

I believe racism by Flores was the thing that Keep Laird from the field. He did not want Laird to show up his fellow black RB. It is that simple. Flores gave Ballage chance after chance. Now Laird will have to put up CMAC numbers to get an outright roster spot next year. The racist NFL circa 2019.

Either that or Flores is clueless when it comes to his best players on offense.

True...but Flores picked Laird to make the team over Kenneth Farrow, who has much more pro experience. Also, he traded away Drake early in the season, which helped Laird.

Like Hillis, perhaps Laird has “cursed” his black teammates?

Pick six by Taylor Rapp, Rams destroying the Cardinals 34-0 halfway through the third quarter

Magical midget throws another int. Negated by a totally bogus roughing the passer call. The league is protecting its black quarterbacks - so many bogus penalties called to help them all out this year. Mahomes just had a bs roughing the passer called as well.

Seems convenient. In the Buffalo-Dallas game Dak had an int taken away by a phantom hands to the face call by refs.

Refs just took away another Mahomes int and called it passing interference. Terrible call.

Norm Van Brocklin's passing yardage record of 554 yards set back in 1951 with the Rams (surprisingly) still stands.

In the KC - Oakland game, there were 12 penalties called on Oakland and 0(!) on KC.

Carr is Oakland's QB, Mahomes is KC 's.

an honest question here: when is the last time a White receiver was targeted 19+ times in a game?

the reason for the question is because of Robert Woods’ terrific game today for the Rams. he hauled in 13 catches and was targeted 19 times. much like in a basketball game when a player gets hot, the team kept going to him.

however, i’ve seen several games where a White receiver gets the hot hand and (for some reason) then gets shutout by his own team. i don’t get it. this happens in basketball sometimes, but only on a team with cultural problems where jealousy inhibits team play.

is that the case here? if so, it would seem every team that has a good White receiver has this issue (see the Eagles with their locker room problems due to Wentz throwing to his two tight ends “too much,” or Kittle when he was frozen out of a sure-record day last season, Theilen last season in a couple of HUGE games, or Kupp a couple weeks ago, etc.).

i’m very curious as to your thoughts. the only White receiver who frequently leads his team in targets that I can think of is Edelman ...

Drew Lock gets his first win in his first start, and the Rams look back in last year's shape. Higbee and Kupp had a great game (not to mention Goff, of course), and looking at the defensive stat sheet 5 White defenders show up for the Rams (5 1/2 if you count Taylor Rapp).

Kyler Murray's stats: 19 of 34, 163 yards passing, 0 TDs, 1 INT. Your #1 overall draft pick, ladies and gentlemen.

Brady throws the pick while targeting first round bust, N’Keale Harry. Harry ran a garbage route. Hopefully that will be his last target.
