Sounds like Drew Lock might get the start tomorrow. The Broncos have been a mess at the position since Manning retired. Hopefully Lock gets to play out the season and go into 2020 as the starter.

Good to see Kwiatkowski rise above his WSTD label. We all knew he had the tools to be a starting LB. It will be interesting to see which teams will have him on their off-season radar.
Please inform/remind me what WSTD stands for...I know it has something to do with our guys talents wasted on ST. Sorry for my ignorance. ;-)

More reason to root for Drew Lock, courtesy of the haters at Weenieworld, which calls the rookie a "fraud":

*Drew Lock’s first career start is terrific news for both Melvin Gordon and the Chargers’ defense. Reminder the No. 42 overall pick was one of the preseason’s spotlighted frauds, completing 31-of-51 passes for 254 yards and 5.0 yards per attempt. The rookie’s wild inaccuracy should allow Gordon to tee off on short fields with an uptick in play volume — especially if Miller’s scratched.

Really looking forward to the 1:00 games today. Here in the DC suburbs we get the caste matchup of the Joey Garropolo-George Kittle-Kyle Jurczyk-Nick Bosa led SF 49ers against the Rat City (Baltimore) Ravens led by their black quarterback-of-the-future Lamar "Eraserhead" Jackson. Its looking like it will be either the 49ers or Saints in the Superbowl for the NFC. It will be a great victory for our side if San Fran can take down the Ravens in Rat City.

Also at 1:00 we have Christian McCaffrey leading Carolina against the Redskins. The best outcome would be if CMAC holds onto his lead as the NFL's leading rusher, Kyle Allen has a good game and Carolina defeats Washington, and Troy Apke, Trey Quinn, Matt Ionnidis, Cole Holcomb and all the other white players in this game have good games.

Patrick Laird sighting in Miami. He was in the backfield against the Eagles, not sure if he's had any carries. Then Fitzpatrick makes a TD pass on fourth down. Nice.

Stupid affletic 49er defender runs right into Eraserhead well after he releases the ball, giving Baltimore 15 extra yards.

It's frustrating watching the Ravens run the same option play over and over and Frisco keeps falling for it. Unreal

I don't understand how defenders and defensive coordinators so easily forget. Rg3 and Kaepernick had similar initial success and then over time were shut down, rg3 still had rushing success his second season but threw 16 tds to 12 interceptions posting a 3-10 record. Kaepernick same thing, still a little success rushing but passing was terrible and couldn't win, posting most of his stats in garbage time

Tuned to the Miami-Philly just as the announcer was saying someone on the Dolphins thought Patrick Laird was an "intern" when he first saw him in training camp. May have been Fitzpatrick. The color announcer then chortled and called him a "good little player," and then the play by play announcer again mockingly called him an intern.

Let's see, 15 years ago Brock Forsey was mocked as a waterboy, now we've advanced to where White running backs are referred to as interns.

Same thing when McCaffrey was younger. Not taken seriously and mistaken for a kicker. Even though he's the same size as multiple backs in the NFL, ones that rushed for 10k or close to it

Second roughing the passer penalty on SF of the first half. Unreal.

We'll see if they call any of these penalties on Baltimore.

Laird finally got a couple carries ( but got swarmed behind the line). He has caught a couple of balls though. Ballage averages less then 2 yards a carry, so its not like they have any other options. Hopefully he gets going in the 2nd half.

Patrick Laird should be anointed the ‘anonymous running back’. Saw him in the backfield on 7 straight ‘and goal’ plays.........0 touches.......

Just tuned into the Carolina - Washington game to see Trey Quinn signal for a fair catch on a punt, only to have a black Caolina player lead with his helmet right into Quinn's head while he is making the fair catch! And they give Carolina a 15 yard penalty, but no ejection. Absolutely fuc$ung unreal. He should be ejected and suspended.

(((Kenny Albert))) and Ronde Barber are calling the Miami game, laughing about "The Intern," didn't know who was calling it when I inadvertently turned it on and heard the references to Laird.

Blake Martinez had a really good first half in the snow in the Meadowlands; 6 solo tackles and three assists.

Thats ironic as Kenny Albert doesn't really qualify as a man. Like a no neck midget pile of afterbirth that what literally piss himself and last less then 3 seconds in a confrontation against the intern.
