Maxx Crosby just had a sack taken away by an absolutely phantom roughing the passer call.

That might have been the worst call of the year and it was at such a crucial time when the game was still on the line. It turned the game around. Just because a fat DT softly falls on the QB in the course of action shouldn't result in a roughing the passer thus taking away a sack from Crosby. Darnold was even out of the pocket. I have been a big proponent of player safety but these jackass refs have to interpret their laws according to some sort of reason. If a QB is in no danger of getting hurt when a player lands on him without undo force they should just ignore it. Cripes it is football. Not tiptoe through the tulips hour.

One word about the mini conversation up above about our boss DW. I don't agree with Don on every little thing ( I still miss the like button just to prove I am not a full blown brown nose ha) but I listen up every time he posts. But there is a reason he is the General here and we aren't. I regrettably and fully admit I wouldn't have the toughness or focus to run a site like this yet he has for years now in a culture that isn't very receptive to this sort of thing. All in an unwavering fashion. I can shoot my mouth off from the sidelines with the best of them but I get to do it behind a curtain. It is worth remembering he is the only one here whose real name is listed.

It should be obvious Don is a tough minded and very smart individual that tries very had to keep this site relevant and serious. Without his toughness and dedication and perseverance this site would have disappeared ages ago.

And Lowery and Lancaster announced as starters which will probably draw a memo from Caste HQ

ASM Blake comes off the edge and collected a nice sack, so the D is doing the job but the O is getting beat like a rug.

Packers all but telegraphing run as Kumerow comes in primarily to block

Why do the Packers force the ball to Adams? He isn't anything special.

Notice how Rodgers was back to his old self when Adams was out with an injury for a weeks? Now he's back and as @wile has mentioned the offense hasn't done squat.

I knew how CMC did. I guess the message was miscommunicated. Imagine me saying so how did CMC do, but with a smile or smirk on my face. All good brothers. I'm pulling for the 49'ers.

Packers travel to the West Coast they lose, but at least I get to see a running team and a TE abuse DBs.

Nick Bosa is a beast in this game so far. Just unblockable. George Kittle and Jimmy G having great games as well. Too bad that the Packers “cleansed” all of their white receivers. Well, maybe Kumerow can gat a few targets, but then what would the real athletes say in the locker room?

The Packers really haven't been fun to watch since Jordy Nelson left.

Great performances by our guys tonight on the national tube. Next week will be epic if they beat the odious black crows.

Jeff Heath was fantastic against the Pats imagine not wanting him as your teams starting safety.

Berrios with a 60+ yard catch and run to the three yard line!
I actually wrote coach Gase about throwing to Berrios. He didn't reply, but hey finally did throw to him (1 time). I also think Gase is the real deal and Darnold. But let's see what happens. They are the Jets after all. So they may revert to form next week and lose to the Bengals.

Patrick Laird now with 3 carries for 20 yards. Excellent. Meanwhile Ballage has 7 carries for 13 yards. Who should be starting? Hmmmm, they just can't figure it out?

I’ve been keeping an eye on Nall and Laird the last couple weeks (more so than normal)
Watching David Montgomery (less than 3.5 per carry, I believe) run over Nall is almost like the Ballage thing, who is around two yards per carry.....really???
Hard to watch....You can only wander what makes the short bus riding coaches continue to start backs that can’t get the job done.....Nall and Laird are next in line...With several weeks left, I expect to see some more reps from our guys.....Gaskins did get carries ahead of Laird yesterday. Laird had an early carry, but it was a fake punt....Later Laird ripped a nice run....

ZZ is buried on the depth chart, but at least he’s on a depth chart...
AJO found some snaps in Canada

Rex keeps having guys drafted after the Patriots gave him decent money....
We all though he’d be a starting running back, of course his injury prone body helped Bellicheck make his decisions......

We may not have another running back drafted until Borghi.....
There seems to be a few good ones coming up though....

Man that Kittle has some wheels. How many tight ends can win a race to the end zone the way he did on that long td?

I benched Kittle on the several fantasy football teams I have him on last night because even though he was playing, it didn't look he was going to do so most of the week because he's dealing with a broken bone in one of his ankles along with a knee issue. I've seen so many black players called "game time decisions" who ended up doing nothing or were put on "pitch counts," and it cost me by being wary about Kittle. Should have known better! Playing with a broken bone and yet still motoring like that shows what an amazing athlete he is! And at one point didn't Aunt Crissy say something along the lines of "Kittle is still learning to run routes"? Uh, George broke the all-time mark for receiving yards in a season by a TE last year in just his second season in the league, apparently he knows quite a bit about route running. Leave it to Crissy to say something like that, who wouldn't have enough superlatives to say about him if he was of the Magical Race.

Berrios with a 60+ yard catch and run to the three yard line!

Berrios showed a real nice burst of speed on that catch to turn a routine middle of the field reception into a huge gainer.

Kittle is the best TE in the league right now. It is close - Kelce, Ertz and Hooper are all right up there with him. It still makes me chuckle when he was viewed as an afterthought in the “most athletic te class ever” in 2017. He is better than Engram, Howard and Njoku by a mile - all three were 1st round picks the same year he got drafted on the third day.

Berrios looked great - hopefully Gase continues to use him. Darnold has looked very good as of late - he was my fav qb in the 2018 draft ( Allen a close second). It’s great to see both of those qbs playing well. I agree with Tomiron on Gase - he needs to clean the jets mess up. I think Tannehil17 can attest to some of the positive things Gase was able to do in Miami. It was also good to see the Jets signed Te Ryan Griffin to a 3 year deal.

Mitch Trubisky had a good day yesterday with 25 of 41 for 278 yards with 1 passing TD and 1 rushing TD. He wasn't fantastic but was effective enough, especially in the second half. He ran around more outside the pocket and at least the threat of him running was back even though he only ran 7 times for 18 yards. Trubisky needed a good day as the wolves were howling all week for Chase Daniel to replace him as the starter.
