Cooper Kupp has not had a single catch today. One week after his epic 220 yard performance.
How is that even possible?
TJ Watt looked like a lion feasting on a zebra. He completely destroyed the Rams offense with 2.5 sacks and constant pressure. How many teams passed on him in the draft?
I mainly watched the Titans -Chiefs game but kept my eye on the Giants game. Daniel Jones could easily become the best QB in the league within a few years. Breathtaking talent. Needs to learn to secure the ball though which he will.
I am in a distinct minority. Mahomes is a good QB I'm not disputing that. All this the "greatest ever" talk is way to premature. I still feel his penchant for sloppiness and scattershot style will have him coming up short. And he has one of the least athletic builds for a QB I have seen since Sonny Jurgensen. Remember him?
As for the Titans the fact they have no white defenders pretty much turns me against them. That said what a game by Tannehill. Even after a torn ACL he showed his ample athletic ability with some key late runs and a tough two point conversion where he
ran through a hyped black safety.
WR Adam Humprhies saved the best for last with the stirring game winning TD catch and run but let me tell you he barely played. Then I got confused. They said WR Firkster was from Harvard yet his bio lists him as a big TE. But he looked small. # 86? I think I am losing it.
As mentioned above they called back at least two big chunk Kelce catches including a TD. Phantom calls? They never replayed the "infractions." That said the Titans defensive backfield missed so many tackles. They let Hill gobble up yardage using terrible angles and lacking one ounce of understanding the use of leverage.
Miami wins with Patrick Laird and Mike Gesicki contributing some. How about a duh and continue that trend worm heads. Laird made a nice tackle on special teams. Saw that on the Red Zone. He is the kind of player teams had on rosters back in the day with no questions asked. Smart and game.
Well I guess I should take some small comfort in the fact that the two speedster wide receivers Scott Miller and Andy Isabella actually got a chance to touch the ball for a change. Miller had a 2-33 stat line which isn't going to change the world but at least he can now be considered breathing.
As for Andy see below and try to figure out why Arizona treats him as a fringe fill in? At least they are putting him in there here and there but 5 targets the entire season so far seems just a tiny bit shortchanged for this chunk yard speedster. Any dope head watching him scamper around like a wild bug realizes this player needs to have a greater role in the offense.
