If Antonio Brown gets away with this (no suspension, maybe a fine), then Mayock needs to resign because clearly his position as GM will have been completely undermined. This level of insubordination cannot be tolerated, even at a place like the NFL where inmates often run the asylum.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, Brown screamed some extremely unsavory things to Mayock on the practice field in front of the entire team. Apparently, the insults were so egregious and disrespectful that La Canfora believes that Brown will be released.

Opening night football couldn’t be more boring. Gotta be putting a lot of people to bed early.

I agree. Mostly defense and bad play calling. I haven't even seen Kumerow on the field. Maybe I'm missing him but he must be a 4th or 5th receiver? Sad to watch.

Kumerow seems to be behind Adams, Scantling, and Allison. The other black WR, Trevor Davis, returns punts and kicks. Kumerow has no role whatsoever.

Defensively, Lowry and Martinez started and Fackrell played a few snaps.

This game is bo-ring.

Looks like Frackell's role has been reduced to 3rd down pass rush situations which is unfortunate! He visibly is more explosive and faster to the QB then Preston Smith

I mean even if you remove the racial angle, it’s boring football. Neither team wants to take any shots downfield. Two very capable quarterbacks being reduced to dink and dunk.

Agreed, so boring I’ve spent my time watching women’s tennis. I’ll probably watch the last 5 minutes.

Well even though I wasn't happy with the Packers on offense, they are in great shape right now. 1-0 and beating a division rival and they have 5 of their next 6 games at home. Maybe this
will be a year that Aaron Rogers will make a run at another super bowl ring. Just hope they get some other guys involved more on offense. Their defense played great.

just another crummy game.

Yes, it was a truly putrid product on display last night. Penalties every other play, bad throws from Rodgers and Trubisky, dropped passes, both QB’s standing in the pocket too long and taking sacks, terrible play-calling, etc.

At one point in the second quarter, Rodgers finally completed a pass to one of his black WR’s and the perma-confused commentator, Christina Collinsworth, gleefully uttered: “Aaron Rodgers just took over the game!” The Rodgers-led offense went on to score 10 points.

WR Jake Kumerow, who is unstoppable whenever he’s on the field, is behind Adams, Valdes-Scantling, Allison, and Davis on the depth chart. I don’t believe he played a snap. FB Danny Vitale appears to be little more than a battering ram, not a rusher or pass-catcher. Aside from “Discount Doublecheck Boy,” this offense is worthless to watch from a Caste perspective. I’d love to see them miss the playoffs in favor of the Vikings.

As for the Bears, hopefully this pitiful performance by the offense (the “Curse of Ryan Nall?”) continues for the entire season, as there’s nothing outside of Trubisky and a backup TE (Sheehan) to care about.

Except for Adams, Aaron Rodgers has been handed a bunch of upside clueless black WRs the past couple of years. As for Rodgers being maybe the "most overrated" white athlete in the NFL I don't think I am the only CF member that would strongly dispute that claim. Am I the only one here that thinks Rodgers is still a great player?

Right on gang. Very tough game to watch. Sludge. Ty Summers only played special teams. He is one gifted athlete. The fact that neither Kumerow, who didn't play or Vitale ever saw the ball was a disappointment. I agree.

A few bright spots. LB Martinez as usual played well and so did DE Dean Lowry who was credited with 3 tackles and one for a loss. I noticed that Kyle Fackrell ( 2 tackles) got a lot of snaps late in the game when it was in the balance so at least that was encouraging. I watched him closely ( I love white edge defenders) and it looked like he made all the right moves following his assignments including backing up and defending the pass and being in the proper position. While it is a downer he isn't starting they have the same defensive coach from last year so I don't think the Pack will ignore Fackrell, seeing that he performed so well in the same system last year.

At least the right team one.

Rodgers is an all-time great, and just to nip it in the bud early this NFL season, there will be no attacks on White athletes allowed, particularly White quarterbacks, simply because their political beliefs don't conform to some ideal that would instantly ruin their careers if publicly asserted.

It's so hard to stay invested in the sport when time and time again actual football players get ****** over. Kumerow situation is yet another thing no sane human being can comprehend. It's not like he has Moss, Wayne or even Brown ahead of him, these Packers WRs are atrocious. And that's with HoF QB behind the center...

This and we have far fewer QB/GM's to kick around this year.

To play devil's advocate, Davante Adams put up numbers last year that rival the best Jordy ever compiled. Valdez-Scantling has some talent but is raw.

It's just one game, I didn't expect Kumerow to be heavily used last night knowing how the NFL and its racial apprenticeships work, especially when it comes to an undrafted free agent.

With the AB situation in Oakland , Renfrow may be able to get a start. Let us hope he is this years Cooper Kupp.

Reports are that Brown called Mayock a “cracker”. If a white player called a black gm a you know what not only the sports media but every aspect of the media would be calling for the white players name - #blackprivilege. And the chiefs cleverly signed their domestic abusing WR to an extension while the media follows the Bozo Brown saga.

And what a big surprise that Brown is still supported by the team captains. From Weenieworld:

According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, Antonio Brown delivered an "emotional apology" at a team meeting Friday morning.
This comes on the heels of an earlier report from Anderson, who provided insight into Brown's much-discussed blowup on Mike Mayock earlier this week, noting that AB called the GM a "cracker" while spewing a stream of other choice words we're not allowed to print on this site. Team captains reportedly "stood" with Brown after his remarks Friday, offering hope that a reconciliation can be reached. Apologizing is a good first step but the Raiders have to be fatigued by the rollercoaster their star receiver has put them through this offseason. His status for Week 1 and beyond remains a mystery.

Aside from the “what if a white GM called a black player an N-word” argument...imagine if your boss signed you to a $30 million contract after your previous employer couldn’t stand you anymore. Within a few weeks of working together, you caused incessant drama, you needed to be separated from fighting with him, you cursed at him, and called him a racial slur in front of all your coworkers.

An article on Brown from last year that noted virtually every terrible thing he’s ever done. It contains so much biting truth that Brown himself read the piece (assuming he’s not illiterate) and threatened to punch the black author...

Reports are that Brown will not be suspended by the team and will likely play in Week #1 after his apology. Mayock and Gruden come off looking like complete cucks who’ve allowed an illiterate ghetto sociopath to totally undermine their authority. But just look at that room-brightening smile!

Illiterate? He attended a major University for three years, doubtless working very hard to pass his classes to remain eligible to play football. The air of a supremely educated scholar emanates from St. Brown!!

This is just so disgraceful. Worth noting that 5 out of the 6 Raider captains are black and the lone white one is QB Carr.

You wonder what WR Hunter Renfrow thinks of all this. Like so many Clemson football players he has deep religious convictions. HC Dabo Swinney doesn't push religion on his players but he does everything he can to accommodate those that are inclined. They also drafted Clemson DE Clelin Ferrell. Both of his parents served in the military so you know he is another high character person.

And I remember commenting last year when they acquired Brown while Jordy was still on the team and I figured this clown would have to think twice before acting up since Jordy is such a well respected leader and great influence on younger players. But they ditched Jordy ( I think we see why now) and now they are dealing with a black led locker room led by ring leader Antonio Brown, who would play the Joker if this was a movie, that has apparently high jacked the team.

Where is their piss dirt owner in all of this? The same owner ( Davis) who had the team handed down to him like a monarchy that allowed his team to become caste on steroids for years? A coward. He should be backing his GM Mayock 100% and he hides in the shadows. Creep.

The Raiders should ditch this bitch. I say bitch because he acts like a woman with a problem. And of course the media is looking at both sides. What both sides? There is an outright cancer, Brown, that needs to be removed.

That's true, Don, I let my frustration get better of me. Fair is fair (didn't realize how good Adams was last year either).
