2019 NFL Conference Championships

Time to get this thread started!

First up is the Los Angeles Rams at the New Orleans Saints for the NFC Championship and then the New England Patriots at the Kansas City Chiefs for the AFC Championship.

Both 1 and 2 seeds from each conference are represented, so I guess this is the way it should work out. Of note, 7/8 of the starting QB's in this game are white! I like the Saints in the first game, only because without Cooper Kupp, the Rams are just another caste team. Besides, I really like to watch the Saints when they have Taysom Hill on the field.

In the nightcap, I would rather see the Chiefs win, just because I'm a homer, just like all of the Dolphins and Bills posters on this site would root for theirs, and like the head honcho who is always rooting for his beloved Steelers!

The Chiefs jettisoned the worthless safety Ron Parker this week and re-activated right guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif from IR. He's not sure how many snaps he's up to playing, but with him in the lineup in place of the "weak link" Cameron Erving, the Chiefs will feature a snowplow. Also Gehrig Dieter has received lots of first-string snaps in practice this week. Maybe they listened to me and might have him play in place of Chris "stone hands" Conley in the slot.

Since the game is to be played in frozen-tundra arctic conditions, with game time temps forecast in the mid-teens, I expect the Patriots to win. They are a seasoned cold-weather team and just flat-out play better in these conditions than any other team. Brady is probably the best cold weather QB in the NFL.

Should be fun!

Saints-NE SB is my choice. Saints have diversified and with enough confidence that they allow Zach Line to touch the ball once every two games. NE because of their Offense. I'll even cheer for the Hebrew Hammer J.E. even though the ethno solidarity only works one way in this wonderful empire of ours.

Theres no contest here for me: im hoping Edelman, Gronkowski, Hogan, Burkhead and the Field Marshal Brady have a huge game and blow out the chiefs.

I think the Saints are in tough against the Rams. Goff is an exceptional QB and Gurley is a very dangerous fb, runs like a rb should no showboating just business. Brees is Brees if he is on then they have a chance.

KC vs NE will be a good game. Stop Mahomes and Kelce it is game set match for NE but we all know NE’s D is their weak link, Kelce is bigger and faster than the DBs and we know what happens when he is healthy. I hope it ends up NO/NE super bowl.

I think Sprintstar is correct that the Saints are going to be having a tough time. The Rams are good up front on BOTH sides of the ball. I'm not saying that the Rams will win, but if N.O. turns the ball over or Special Teams is an issue at some point, i.e. missed FG, or EP, blocked punt, big return, etc. the Rams could definitely pull off a W.

I also believe the League is dying to have their new darling Mahomes not only go to the Big Dance but win it with MVP honors. I think the deck is stacked against the Pats. I believe the League PTB, whoever they are or influenced by, would love a "changing of the guard" from the perceived "White" Patriots (notice I said "perceived") led by Superman Brady to the "new type of QB" they've been saying is coming for 20+ years...

I don't want to sound all Big Unreal here but hear me out. I have said before that sports is usually not "fixed" but definitely manipulated by the officials on occasion. I don't know exactly what's in for them but somehow it seems to go the way of where the money trail is all too often. The only exceptions are tennis and golf because those can't be manipulated by refs, officials, judges, etc.

I think the League actually wants a Chiefs vs Rams SB so a "magical and superior" Mahomes can win over an apparently easily rattled White Goff. I dont think the PTB would want an MVP cool cat White Brees to be going against Mahomes. The outcome might not be the desired one.

Call me cynical or crazy but nothing surprises me at all anymore in the anti-White Agenda Machine, even and especially in sports nowadays...

BFP: I agree on so many of your points as to whom and why the Owners would want the Cheifs to win. It is a sad state of affairs in today’s NFL and western society. I still have my hopes the officials won’t get in the way of the game and the Patriots this weekend.

I don't know about what the League wants, but the brokers want to see a Saints-Chiefs Superbowl.

Here’s the ideal scenario:

Patriots win this weekend, then go on to win the SB. It’s #6 for Brady and Belichick, an astonishing accomplishment without parallels. All the white players on offense have great games in front of a worldwide audience.

And with this last hurrah, Brady and Gronk retire, Edelman, Hogan, Burkhead are all released, but sign with white friendly teams and play a couple more years. The Patriots draft that midget Murray, and with 3-4 white starters heading into the ‘19 regular season, become Jacksonville North, finishing the year 3-13. Belichick retires thereafter.

I agree with you completely about the scenario the PTB want. Those were my thoughts earlier this week. I expect to see a multitude of dubious calls against the Patriots, such as false starts, holding, pass interference, etc, at inopportune times for them. The advantage is that NE has the experience playing in cold weather and in the playoffs, and the Chiefs are notorious playoff chokers. In the NFC I would like to see the Saints win, but the Rams wouldn't be bad either because of Goff and the snow-plow OL, plus Higbee.

One thing that I also take into consideration is the fact that the Saints' fanbase is heavily black. I'd root for them over the Chiefs, but I'd rather see a Pats-Rams SB. Goff getting his first ring or Brady getting his 73rd...both would be big moments.

Agreed. The Saints look far more white-friendly. On one defensive play, they had three white defenders (Klein, Anzalone, and Hendrickson) on the field. Drew Brees, Taysom Hill, two athletic white TE’s (Josh Hill and Dan Arnold), Zach Line at FB, and 2 white OL.

The Rams have Goff and 4 white OL. The TE, Higbee, is rarely used.
