North Carolina WR Beau Corrales is a little overlooked by us here but he quietly put up a good season this year. In today’s game he put up a good 4-82 stat line. He finishes his junior year with a 40-575-6 stat line. If he has a big senior year he could become an NFL prospect since he has an NFL frame and routinely makes incredible catches. He reminds me of Chad Hansen and Eric Decker since he’s 6’4” 210 and makes amazing catches. Hopefully him and Sam Howell can develop a good connection and he can have 800+ yards as a senior. The problem is that UNC had 2 WR’s with 1000+ yards this season and neither of them are graduating so Corrales is essentially the 3rd option.

@Red raider I just read 3 articles that all demeaned Arconado's athletic ability in some way. I'd say it's safe to say he's viewed as a White Guy(or at least not black) by the Caste System and media. I'll cheer for the guy, took the long way to where he's at and had great production his final hurrah. Also thanks for the update on Corrales. Didn't watch much ACC this year and it's good news he has a young talented QB in Howell even if he is third in line at WR.

Remsburg is up to 18 carries for 135 yards with a little over a quarter of football left. This former sprinter could be nfl material but being he is with the Air Force will probably
never get the chance to play of Sundays. I hope I'm wrong as they call him the "Kansas Comet" and he lives up to it. So explosive!

My thoughts exactly.......how do you not take the three and be down by a TD with ten minutes left. Otherwise, it’s a fun game to watch with all these great White RBs. Would love to have seen this 10-2 AF team play an SEC team in a bowl game.

Getting out of my sick bed to post and hope to remain coherent. Albeit there are a couple or few CF members here who don't think I am coherent whatever the situation.

Although most are aware there was a trend from three of the key games last night. The less said of the Oklahoma State game the better. Except this. I for one am sick and tired of white receivers being asked to run closet routes. WR Dillon Stoner ended up I believe with a stat line that read like this: 3 catches for -1 yard. A borderline NFL prospect with games like these it practically kills any chances he has left of moving forward. I blame the coaching staffs ( and we see this in the NFL too) who hang too many white receivers out to dry. They take dink and dunk to the max when it comes to many white receivers.

Air Force, Michigan State and Iowa have one thing in common. They play multiple white defenders. And each team played high powered offenses that routinely score points like a video game. Well the buck stopped there last night although in the case of USC they lost there rising young QB. One aside. I had brought up head injuries and mother's and apparently QB Slovis was told by his mother he would have to quit if he sustained a concussion. Last night he almost got his second and the announcers laughed it off saying Slovis told his mom he is old enough to make his own decisions. Well it just illustrates the new frontier we are dealing with when it comes to head injuries and how they can end careers. By the way Slovis to my knowledge had one concussion this season. If he ends up with say three or more that would spell trouble.

Over the past several seasons I believe Iowa can play with anyone and that means the four teams playing tonight. Remember they ruined a top flight Ohio State team's season a few years back by destroying them. And last year they went toe to toe with what many thought was the most athletic team in the country in MISS STATE and beat them. This go around they were just too rugged for USC.

And they played into the trend I noticed yesterday. Iowa employs roughly 3-6 sometimes even up to 7 white defenders( including a white safety) throughout a game. And they are sturdy as can be. The Great White Hope CB Riley Moss made a brief appearance in mop up time.

Then you have Air Force holding Wash State to a measly 21 points and only 15 first downs. Granted the Air Force offense kept them off the field but still. They only allowed Wash State three scores. And they employ perhaps the most white defenders in college football including an array of white defensive backs although #3 Bugg is mixed.

I did not see the Michigan State game but I have seen them enough to know they threw Wake around like a rag doll. The hyped Wake QB had a tepid 12-27-175-1 INT stat line and it looked like star DE Kenny Willekes created his usual havoc. Again even though unlike Iowa and Air Force they have no back line white defenders they have plenty of them in the front seven and they held Wake to just three scores.

All this white defensive talk makes me think of Clemson. Clemson employs 3 to up to maybe 7 white defenders during the course of a game and that includes two on the back line The Stud Brothers ( Tanner Muse and Nolan Turner). No question Joe Burrow deserved every award coming his way and is rightly seen as the best college football player in the land this year. But with Clemson LSU will be facing pretty much for the first time if they meet a white heavy defense. That could make all the difference in the world. LSU did play Utah State when LB Woodward was healthy and Woodward made like 20 tackles.

LSU and Oklahoma are not merely caste they marinate in it. There are essentially zero white players of skill on these teams apart from Burrow. No white defenders within a country mile. That is when I put up the stop sign.



Because of the Clemson defense I will be rooting for them like crazy. Ohio State has two star under the radar white linebackers but unlike Clemson they don't bring in white reserves. But like Iowa, Ohio State has a fleet of top white tight ends.

Finally thanks to Rocky for his above post on the state of white running backs for next season. I took notes. I love the fluidity and speed that Air Force Remsberg runs with. And Trump instituted a new rule where service academy players can now go straight to the NFL. I presume they are allowed to finish up their service time at a latter date.

If Remsberg was black the NFL might accommodate him but because he is white and plays in an option offense and is on the thin side his chances are still going to be tough. Still I enjoy watching him play in college and last night he was terrific in the first half ( I missed the second half). Before the caste system took hold a player like Remsberg would end up playing in the NFL. They would see him as a prime athlete and make room for him one way or another.

I thought RB Borghi was a shoe in for the NFL but now I am getting a touch concerned. They just don't utilize him enough in the running game ( see posts above) and I wonder if that will scare off the NFL. Doesn't take much to scare them off when it comes to white skill players. That said his goofy coach has soft teams and I think Borghi should high tail out of there after next season and declare. Borghi is probably more Danny Woodhead than CM but that's not such a bad thing.

Notre Dame will be in action at noon before the big games. Hopefully WR Finke can make one last valiant stand.

Yea it doesn't look good for Borghi, I think only one back that played for Leach has ever gotten drafted, Baron Batch in the 7th round . Ricky Williams (the lesser one) did get some chances in the NFL but was undrafted. Borghi is definitely the most talented back that has played under Leach and should test out great athletically, but he's also White so he has an uphill battle to prove himself.

I like the Borghi comparison to Woodhead. I'm not sure what his Draft Stock is like but NFL Scouts have to got to notice his above average ability as a receiving back.

I know some are frustrated by his lack of carries in Leach's Air Raid Offense. Let's just be thankful Borghi ditched his hometown team in CU and hightailed it to the Northwest!! At least he's been a factor last few season's. Had he chosen CU he'd be buried on depth chart.

As goofy as Mike Leach is, he's been more White friendly than a majority of division 1 coaches. He's had plenty of White receivers. Welker, Amendola, Eric Morris, Alex Torres, Trey Haverty, River Cracraft, Cody Fuller, Austin Zouzalik and now a White back. Well maybe not plenty but compared to most major programs, it's way more.

Part of me thinks Leach is on the spectrum when I hear him talk. I'm not even sure if he's ever even played the game. I think he's just some guy that got obsessed with the strategy. I think he should add more wrinkles though, like the downfall of his mentor Hal Mumme he's just obsessed with a ton of pass attempts. Last night he acted like the reporter was crazy when she suggested that Air Force's ball control offense was like defense in a sense that it would keep his offense off the field.

I think Borghi will be ok. He’s a victim of the offensive system - he is a very good runner and receiver with probable sub4.5 speed and has been productive as he can be playing in an offense that throws the ball. They ran the ball an average of 16.2 times vs 55.7 times throwing the ball. He was more productive both as a runner and receiver - his total yards are 1414 ( 817 rush/597 pass) which is very good. Leach is very eccentric - I find his personality to be somewhat humorous but I get how people are frustrated with his play calling. He is what he is and the wazzu offense actually mirrors a lot of what the nfl does - I see a lot of similarities between it and the Patriots offense.

I agree with most of you that Max Borghi will be ok and will be drafted at the next level. The one thing I hate is that he will fall to the lower rounds because he doesn't get to run the ball more. The other
danger is of a team making him into a slot receiver. He needs to demand that whoever drafts him keeps him as a running back just like CMac. Yes he can do other things but he is a rb first & foremost.

Go LSU and Clamson tonight. I want to see both of these stud quarterbacks put on a show!

Well hopefully Borghi can get a combine invite and show off his athleticism. There's been multiple backs that put up 12 to 1400 yards from scrimmage in a season in Leach's system. Like I said I think he's the most talented of the bunch but you never know with the caste system. Hopefully he can have a monster season next year so scouts take notice

He sarcastically mentioned how Finke will be a 7th Rd pick to The Pats. He will then proceed to rack up a couple of 65catch season's. Threw out a couple of cliches "gym rat" "hard worker" "always in right spot." Then ended it by saying "Nah, he's just a great route runner."

Just watching the Jalen Hurts slobberfest known as the pregame show. Burrow should just go ahead and hand over the Heisman Trophy to the better QB.

I'm not much of a fan of either of these teams, but I will root hard for Joe Burrow and root against Hurts. First play resulted in a 6 yard loss sack of Hurts and then a quick 3 and out. Camera zooming in on Hurts' eyes, he looks bewildered.
