Diggs gave up on his route, leads to a pick 6 thrown by Cousins.

It is amazing how far and away superior Thielen is to Diggs. Yet, Thielen makes $4 million per year, and Diggs makes $14 million per year....

Finally Thielen targeted and the result was a big play. Cousins had been pretty good about targeting Thielen but strangely ignored him until now.

Thielen TD, but the Vikings wasted too much time. The missed extra point from earlier was costly.

Thielen has been a highlight this season....
THill has been fun to watch.....
CM still may end up with 1000 yards, but sCam makes it tough to watch each week....
Let’s get Rex back on the field.

Disappointing loss for Minn to not get this win at home. They could've put some space on their Div lead. Nope...

At least Adam tied the record!

Congrats to Adam Thielen. He tied the NFL Record with 8 straight 100 yard games. Guys that is not good
enough. He needs to get his 9th in a row so he will be the sole record holder ever. Thielen deserves this as
much as any receiver that has ever played. He went through hell to just get a chance to play everywhere he
has been. The Caste System is very hard to break but with 1 more game it is a record that might never be
broken. It would be epic. Incredible, sensational and unbelievable. Congrats for tonight but stay hungry
Adam and continue to rewrite the record books!

Vikes are at home again next week against a divisional foe in the Lions and they should definitely go to Adam and get him the record in front of the home crowd.

Against the Lions secondary he might get 200! They are not good.

Montgomery coughs up a kick return. Perfect example of a mediocre NFL RB.

My hunch was right. Montgomery ignored McCarthy's instructions to kneel the kick return for a touchback. Instead the Stanford educated RB decided to be a hero and ended up fumbling away GBs chances at a possible win.

And now a TD! Does it seem that every pass thrown to him is caught?
yes, sir. Thielen caught every ball that was thrown to him last night, including the insane catch mentioned by Thrashen in an earlier post. he is playing at a higher level than any other wideout in the game right now, and after his unfortunate fumble contributed to the loss I suspect that he’ll be even hungrier next week.

Sort of like college football this past weekend in the NFL was hum drum for the most part as the posts above suggested.

Nice to see Adam Thielen scoot past 100 yards in his record setting streak. One more to go.

I believe S Troy Apke reinjured his hamstring ( Good Lord) and Trey Quinn has been on IR so the Redskins fun I was looking forward to this season has been muted to say the least. But old Alex Smith continues to defy his critics and win and perhaps it is time to start discussing Edge Ryan Kerrigan as a future Hall Of Famer.

Speaking of pass rushers the Bengals lost starter DE Carl Lawson to an ACL tear. So expect Sam Hubbard to play a lot more. Hubbard by the way has been one of the better rookies in the NFL this season. Where are the draft guru critics who considered Hubbard a dead weight player?

It was unfortunate Taysom Hill didn't get to show off his wheels last night but he still impacted the game. First off he was playing more downs. He also caught a pass from the slot. Is that his first reception as a pro? He also completed a long pass which may or may not have been caught but it didn't matter since interference was called anyway. Like a three point shooter defenses will have to account for his throwing ability which could open up better running lanes for him.

Now is Hill an outlier or the starter kit for a trend? I think back to players similar to Hill like the great Eric Crouch, a player the NFL didn't want to accommodate back when.

Are college QBs like Nick Fitzgerald, Trace McSorley, McKenzie Milton and Eric Dungey going to be looked at as Taysom Hill type players? And what about WR/PR Britain Covey who played QB in High School?

Reaching into the High School ranks there is prep athlete and 2019 Texas all purpose recruit Jake Smith possibly the most dynamic athlete in the class of 2019. First he has to overcome a heavy caste school in Texas but one would hope that he breaks the "caste spell" there next season.

Only time will tell but from my perspective offensive coaches should be drooling at the prospect of having a Taysom Hill all around talent diversify an offense. The proof as always will be in the pudding. When it comes to adding exciting offensive white skill players to NFL rosters there is very little recent history to suggest it will happen.

I completely forgot about football yesterday, only just now I realized that I haven't caught up on it (scores are easy to miss if one stays away from TV). Every other week I tune in for some McCaffrey action and usually end up disappointed. Thielen's record is a pleasant surprise, one of the very few positives of the season.

It looks like it's going to get darker next season as well, very little incentive to follow football actively, to be honest.

Can't wait until Thielen breaks Calvin's record next week, maybe then ppl will start to wonder why there aren't more white WR's on top college teams and the NFL.

Next season is hard to gauge right now - the draft picture is a little more muddled than in years past - it will probably end up being another year hovering between 20-25% of white players drafted. Blind optimism finally left me a few years ago in thinking that white athletes would get a fair shot. I always remain hopeful that some of our guys can slip through the caste cracks. If the man in your avatar (Peyton Hillis) and his monster year was unable to sway any NFL GM/Scout to believe that whites were capable of running the ball, Weddle never convinced anyone that whites can play DB at a high level, Jordy prove that whites can be dominant outside WRs and Welker prove that whites are elite slot WRs it is obvious the NFL simply does not care about finding and putting the best players out on the field. None of them are interested in challenging the stereotypes or capable of thinking outside the box.

It's hard to believe Peyton Hillis and that 2010 season was already 8 years ago.

Looking forward to Brady, Edelman, Gronk and Hogan putting in a show tonight on national TV. Probably won’t be much of a game after the first half........anybody heard anything about Burkhead’s recovery?
