It’s pretty customary to get a player a record if he’s really close. Same goes for benchmarks such as 1000 yards rushing/receiving, 100 receptions, etc.

I have a hard time believing someone on that sideline is not aware that all Kittle needs is 5 lousy yards. And the odious Shannon Sharpe is erased from the record books. The 49ers are about to wrap up a lost season. Kittle and his play is their lone bright spot.
 
Zenner with 8 carries, 44 rushing yards, and a TD!
 
Zach zenner carries 7 times on a Lions drive for a TD. They've been looking for a running game all year and there it was. Now back to the bench probably.
 
TE Lee Smith has a TD for Raiders and just now, 4th of the year for Eagles TE Dallas Goedert!

CMAC won’t get blamed. I haven’t seen anything but praise from everyone about his play. In fact, the consensus seems to be that the Panthers are stupid for not giving him the ball in the 2nd half.

Even the DWFs love McCaffrey. He’s too good not to love. He is the Panthers star now, and outside of a few white guilted stragglers, everyone is on board.
 
HORRIBLE!!!! Eagles Rookie TE Dallas Goedert long TD 70+ Yards Called back/Offensive Pass Interference ...COMPLETE BS!!! Worst call i have ever seen...Refs need to be FINED $$$
 
Goedert has a great long TD reception stolen on a bogus call - they also missed the helmet to helmet and face mask on Goedert during that play.
 
white on white crime on that Goedert PI. damn shame as it would be yet another HUGE play for an athletic white TE.

EDIT and now another penalty takes back Vander Esch's sack!
 
That Zenner drive was fun to watch. They kept giving him the ball and he kept moving the chains. The Cardinals new it was coming but couldn't stop it. I haven't seen that kind of dominance from one of our guys except for CMac since Hillis.

1:35 left to go in the 4th and Kittle is still at 210 yards. SF is only up 20-14. Something seems very odd about that.
 
Kittle fails to break the record and didn’t record a catch in the 2nd half. Disappointing in one respect, but he had a great day regardless.
 
Steelers likely lose as a result of Carr throwing 2 late TD passes to white TE’s (Derek Carrier and Lee Smith). A rare site for the Raiders.
 
Is it me or do white players have plays called back more often than black players? Also why didn't the 49ers let Kittle break the record?
 
Seeing Wentz face Prescott - it's amazing to see the difference - Wentz is superior in every regard.
 
Geez me wonders why Kittle didn’t get the ball in the second half? Hmmmm powers that be don’t want a superior white athlete breaking a record held by a negro...plain as day!
 
Atlanta's starting TE Austin Hooper left today's game early vs GB with an injury, hopefully it doesn't end his breakout season. Hooper in his 3rd season still only 24 yrs old has been the NFL's most underrated TE this year posting strong numbers of 60 rec for 557 yds and 4 TD's!

Yes, back-to-back huge reaches by Tampa of OJ Howard and Vita Vea. Giants' stupid reach on Evan Engram. Cleveland taking Njoku out of Miami Hurricanes in the 1st round.

Both Engram and Noah Fant have lackluster hands and lapses of concentration...

I'm happy about the result mainly due to the embattled Ryan Tannehill. He had a solid game today and slowly looks to be returning to form. One thing however that is pissing me off is Adam Gase's insistence of utilizing Mike Gesicki in blocking assignments when that's never been his strength. He's a deadly seam busting TE. Use him damnit!
 
Seeing Zach Tenner make his mark once in the NFL again has made my day.

With Danny Woodhead retiring and Rex Burkhead injured most of the year, C. McCaffrey was the only thread holding the white RB from extinction. So seeing Z. Zenner thrive in the NFL again is all I need for this week to be a win!
 
Very pleased to see ZZ even make the highlights. This guy is too good to just disappear. He should start the rest of the year.

Zenner's performance is the highlight of the day in my opinion. Zenner is only 27 years old and is healthy going into the last 2 games of the season. Hopefully, Zenner averages double-digit carries a game from now until he's about 33 years old.
 
Fans on WJR post game talk radio wondering why Zenner hasn't been getting any playing time. Radio guys telling the fans to get real. Zenner is just a North-south throwback lunchbox hard worker. There's no place for him in today's NFL. Kerryon Johnson will be back soon and Zenner can go back to special teams.
