The article is making the optimistic comparison that Vander Esch will be an instant star like Watt was if the Steelers draft him. It mentions that Watt is an outside backer and Vander Esch is projected inside. I'd like to see Pitt become at least a middle of the pack Caste NFL team, which they have at least moved toward a bit in recent years, given how influential the Rooney Plantation is and how successful the team is, but it's unlikely as long as the Tomlin-Colbert regime lasts.

My motto for this draft is there is "NOWHERE TO RUN" when it comes to my "FANTASTIC FOUR." It isn't a question of hedging or the "maybe they squeeze in on the old late round flier" routine. Troy Apke, Justin Watson, Dylan Cantrell and Braxton Berrios have done more than enough to warrant getting drafted. None of them should even be considered as late as the 7th round. All four make the CUT with ease and all of the vagueness about their draft stock should halt and pronto. It should not even be up for discussion among the NFL brass, these are TOP players period!!

Berrios a smallish but very quick player, (think Ryan Switzer) like the other three of my fab four, performed at a very high level at the Miami pro day yesterday. Below is an in depth article on the Miami pro day which includes sparkling talk about Berrios.

Not even sure Gil Brandt, who looks older than the hills, is posting the messages but his pro day website is infected with the caste virus. A clear pattern is discernable. They have carefully avoided putting up any fast 40 times registered by white players but are quick to blurt out the black players who ran well. They do make it a point to list the white players who ran slower than expected though. They play that IGNORE game that so often kills off the chances of white skill players.

Caste garbage and unfortunately NFL brass pays attention to this site.

Preliminary report has Trey Quinn running a 4.45 40 at is pro day today. When your get a full second faster than your combine time it translates into a high 40 time for Quinn. He is as polished as Cooper Kupp plus faster. The only question left is how high will he get drafted? Personally he seems every bit as good as the so called "elite" WR's in this draft. But the draft geeks have him going somewhere in the middle rounds. Here is betting he has a better career than the flavor of the month LSU WR D.J. Chark. Chark, who only had one decent year, runs a fast 40 at the combine and the scouts are swooning and bolting him near the top of the draft. Troy Apke sizzles it and the scouts keep him on the fringe.

The next media star Lamar Jackson, at least for a while until he is exposed, chose not to run the 40 at his pro day. That is two times he has declined running it. Don't want to make a big deal out of a QB 40 time but for a player widely hailed for his speed I find it a touch odd he refuses to "show" it which tells me he isn't as fast as the media has been making out.

I used to have satellite radio - this was back in 2011/2012 and would listen to the NFL channel. They had a show called "Moving the Chains" and they always referred to Brandt as the Godfather (of the draft/scouting). I view Brandt as the Godfather of the caste system. He was entrenched as a personnel man from the mid 50s through 1988 so it's no doubt he had a huge role in the caste system and the white replacement that began to take place in the mid 70s leading into the full implementation of the caste system in the early 80s (I defer to Don on the exact time the caste system came into full implementation as he is the original warrior in the fight against anti-white morons like Brandt). I do recall once leading up to the 2011 draft someone called in and brought up Fresno St. speedster Devon Wylie and essentially attacked the caste system. It was some great radio. Uber caste buffoon Tim Ryan and equally caste educated Pat Kirwan were very defensive - it was some great radio. I had always hoped that the man who called in was a member here.

Plenty of white players have great game tape but have to jump through every hoop in the process. Hopefully this is all hurting Jackson in terms of his draft stock. Some team will be stupid enough to draft him but I don't see long term success for him in the NFL. He is not a polished passer at all.

Along those lines, teams are reportedly having trouble setting up meetings and workouts with Jackson.

The Combine is a huge part of the NFL Draft process for prospects, and in addition to position drills and basic athletic testing, prospects are asked to take the Wonderlic test. The scores of these tests are supposed to remain private, but every year some of them get leaked.

This year, most of the quarterback scores have been made public by former NFL scout John Middlekauff. He listed off the scores on a recent Fox Sports Radio podcast appearance on "The Herd With Colin Cowherd."

Here's what he claims are the scores:

Sounds like Luke Falk had a solid pro day.

Washington State QB Luke Falk performed well in his workout at the Utah State pro day on Wednesday.

Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline offered up a few interesting nuggets regarding Falk, who was forced to throw at Utah State's pro day because Wazzu's own school pro day lacked receivers. Pauline passes along that the 6-foot-4, 224-pounder has only recently been able to start lifting weights, as he had been rehabbing from a left wrist fracture suffered in-season. Not only is that wrist now healed, Falk has also added significant weight over the last two-plus months, putting on 13 pounds since the Senior Bowl. For a quarterback who struggled with injuries (notably concussions) during his time in college, the weight addition is welcome. Falk also did well to squash questions about his arm strength, delivering the ball with zip and closing out pro day via a pair of 65-yard passes. He hit on 51-of-55 tosses overall. Representatives from the Bills, Bengals, Buccaneers, Dolphins and Jets all watched his workout. Miami, in particular, is said to be quite interested in Falk.

Utah St. DB Dallin Leavitt had a solid pro day: 18 BP Reps, 4.52 40, 34.5 inch vertical, 10 foot 2 broad jump. Plenty athletic for the next level.

Case study of the "caste wall" that gets put in place prior to drafts. Two tricks are utilized.

The first is the black athlete is superior to the white player in terms of speed and athleticism. The numbers are put forward and the idea is hammered to death.

The second is if the white athlete tests well often it is ignored and the pre workout preconceived notion remains on the scouting reports.

The second trick is on full display when it comes to WR Justin Watson. I will compare him with another 'small" school WR Daurice Fountain, predictably a scout favorite. Neither one was invited to the NFL Combine but the media only complained about Fountin not being invited.

Before you glance at the scouting reports below a quick look at their pro day results.

Fountain at 6'1 " 210 had an impressive 42.5 vertical and 11 foot broad jump. He ran the 40 in 4.46 seconds.

Watson at 6-3 220 had a broad jump of 10 feet a 40 inch vertical and ran a 4.39 40. One major oddity about Watson's 40 time which to me was BEYOND stupid. The people at Penn didn't want to "look" as if they were "lowering" his time so they raised his time to 4.41 or 4.42. Still he is FASTER in the 40 than Fountain. That is NOT reflected in the scouting reports. And we wonder why the white WR's never get drafted. See below Lance Zierlein's awful take on the two players and another "scouts" caste riddled take .

He ran a 4.36 according to someone there timing at his pro day! Saw others that had him in the 4.4s. Also had a 38" vert! I can't find what they measured him at but he's listed at 6'2" 220 from South Dakota.

My Pro Football Weekly mag surprisingly has Justin Watson as their first white WR at #13 and projects him to be a 3rd round pic.

This is one I'll keep an eye on during the draft.

Wouldn't be surprised he goes undrafted.

Good stuff! I guess he is the most athletic QB in the draft. I found a run down of the pro day. Looks like alot of scouts were there and all of the featured athletes were white. Small school RB Max Mickey ran a 4.45. I don't see a 40 time for Mengarelli.

.I have never heard of Streveler but nice find see above.

One outlier prospect to keep an eye on is WR Austin Proehl. Until he showed up at a post season all star game I thought Proehl was only a junior.

He got injured last season and played very sparingly. But word is spreading that he is something special. At a recent regional combine he "took over" according to the people there. He displayed great quickness in and out of breaks and terrific hands. An easy name to remember since his dad Ricky played in the NFL for a long time. He would need to pole vault over a skyscraper to get drafted but at the very least his momentum is shooting up.
