I believe Apke outran all but one of the cornerbacks at the Combine, besides scoring a composite 99th percentile. The talk ought to be about converting him to corner in the NFL and whether he's worth a first or second round pick at that position. Instead the chatter is mainly about whether he'll be taken earlier on Day 3 than previously forecast. The good old anti-White NFL and its enabling media partners and draft "experts."
He should at worst be considered something of a tweener like the Honey Badger was. There are different angles playing corner back but as people have stated so many times about the speed positions you can't coach speed.

unless Apke has hands of stone he should be a wide receiver or corner back with that kind of blinding speed in my opinion.

There's talk in the mainstream media that the Dolphins need to move on from Ryan Tannehill. This is ridiculous. Tannehill is a franchise quarterback.

They would never be saying this if he wasn't white. Compare the treatment of Tannehill and Teddy Bridgewater. Tannehill's a better quarterback yet they build up Bridgewater and tear down Tannehill. The mainstream media's anti-white bias is obvious.

Agreed. As far as the Marxist media mavens are concerned, there is no way the Dolphins would have restructured Tannnehill's contract the way they did if they were not committed to him for at least the next two years. When you make that type of commitment, that tells you all you need to know about their intentions of what they plan to do in the first round, and that means drafting the supa afflete Lamar Jackson in the first round is out of the question.

I wanted to do another comparison.

Harrison Phillips- 6'4" 307lbs, 5.21 40, 42 reps of 225, 32" vert, 103" broad, 7.28 3 cone, 4.50 short shuttle. Played in 31 games with 153 tackles, 29 TFL, and 16.5 sacks.

Da'Ron Payne- 6'2" 311lbs, 4.95 40, 27 reps of 225, 28.5" vert, 107" broad, 7.58 3 cone, 4.71 short shuttle. Played in 35 games with 102 tackles, 5 TFL, and 3 sacks.

Payne is seen as sure fire 1st round pick. Where Phillips is 2nd round on projections. I remember during the combine they were gushing over Payne saying what makes him different from past Alabama DT's is his ability to rush the passer. That is really evident with his 3 career sacks. Comparing the two athletically Payne had a better 40 and broad. Where Phillips has the better bench, vert, 3 cone and short shuttle. Phillips clearly had the better college career. But Phillips is "looks like a guard" and Payne is "a day one starter". You really can't make this stuff up.

I bought a draft magazine. This one gives Gesicki a 2-3 round grade. Not bad. They give him credit for being a good athlete. Okay. His forty? They have him at 4.75e. I always figured the e stood for electronically timed. I mean, we have the experts talking here. But now I realize it probably stands for "estimated." And how do they come up with their estimations? Watch some tape and then say well it looks like he runs about a 4.75 forty. Not 4.7ish, or 4.8ish. No, their guess is down to the hundredths of a second. Like they're guessing electronically?

I think they should replace the e for estimated with a g for guessed.

And oh by the way as we all know Gesicki ran a 4.52. Wonder why they were so far off on their guess?

At the end of the profile they say "Some teams will want a faster guy."

Well maybe Gesicki can be his own faster guy.

Some solid pro day results for a few of our guys:

Penn WR Justin Watson Pro day results:

4.39 40
20 bench press reps
40 Inch vert
10 feet broad jump

Slippery Rock DE Marcus Martin
4.69 40
32 reps on BP
33 Inch vert
9-8 broad jump

Looks like he is going to be a caste victim as the Patriots and Bucs worked him out as a fullback. I guess 4.69 is too slow for a running back - oh wait it only is too slow because he is white.

Another White WR with a great pro day. Yet Mayock says we don't see white guys running fast that often. It's because they aren't invited to the combine. Justin Watson - 4.39 and now Sam Mentkowsi - 4.41. Love how the narrative gets torn to shreds each year but the lies are repeated annually.

Wisconsin-Oshkosh receiver Sam Mentkowski took part in the Wisconsin pro day and made the most of his opportunity. The senior, who measures just about 6-foot and 190 pounds, timed 4.41 in the 40, faster than anyone on the field that day. His short shuttle time of 4.00 was bettered only by cornerback Nick Nelson, a potential third-round pick. Mentkowski, who caught 67 passes for 1477 yards with 13 touchdowns last year, also timed 6.76 in the three-cone. He is drawing comparisons to Minnesota Vikings receiver Adam Thielen.

Another DB to look out for is JMU S Jordan Brown - an FCS All American. Trying to track down his Pro Day performance now.

His 2017 stats were 76 total tackles (41 solo), 3.5 tfls, 2.5 sacks, 1 FR, 9 INTs, 6 PBUs. He got no all star game invites, no combine invite and is flying very under the radar for a productive and good player.

Gil Brandt the "godfather" (of the caste system) makes no mention of him on his twitter updates for the JMU pro day. He also made no mention of Ryan Nall with his Oregon St. update.

Some info on Troy Apke's pro day:

http://www.collegian.psu.edu/football/article_00bbc52c-2c87-11e8-af69-6f8c6a71e80d.html

It wasn’t until the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl that Troy Apke really began to start drawing attention from NFL scouts.

Apke was named MVP of the game, but his draft stock really started to shoot up in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine.

The Western Pennsylvania native blew everyone away with his 4.34 time in the 40-yard dash, including one of the all-time greats, Deion Sanders.

Apke said Sanders complimented him in person about his time at the combine.

“He came up to me and told me I could ‘run-run’ or whatever he said on TV,” Apke said.

Although many people may have had to look twice when seeing how fast he ran, Apke wasn’t surprised at all.

“I knew I was going to go in there and run fast and do agilities well,” Apke said. “I had been running similar times down in Ft. Lauderdale where I was training.”

His 40 time wasn’t the only impressive stat at the combine, as he had a 41-inch vertical and did the 20-yard shuttle in 4.03 seconds.

After his performance at the combine, Apke said a lot more teams reached out to him for meetings.

“A lot of coaches know who I am now,” Apke said. “So it’s on me to show them what I know about football and what kind of kid I am.”

On Tuesday, Apke took part in the footwork and agility drills for scouts from all 32 teams to see.

“I wanted to show today what I could do in drills and my footwork,” Apke said. “I think I was smooth in my footwork, but I missed two balls.”

Apke was projected as a potential undrafted free agent candidate after the season was over, but now some mock drafts have him going as high as the fifth round.

“I’m an intelligent player and I make the right decisions [on the field],” Apke said. “I’m a rangy guy and I can cover the field well.”

There are many teams that will take a harder look at Apke on the third day of the draft. His experience on special teams, as well as his improved coverage throughout his college career, could earn him a spot as a backup safety.

Perhaps no former Penn State player has improved his draft stock since the season ended more than Apke.

“I think I’ve helped myself a lot,” Apke said. “I’m happy with my performances [at the combine] and at Pro Day.”

The two NFL Combine snubs that readily come to mind were WR Justin Watson and Hybrid DE/LB Joe Ostman.

Ostman had a decent workout see above but I haven't charted his draft "progress" yet. I suspect late round or the dreaded FA.

Watson on the other hand is a perfect example of why the lack of a Combine invite has HURT white skill players over the years. Not getting invited is a BAD thing and hurts a player's chance of getting drafted. In the case of Watson he performed well leading up to the Combine but the gatekeepers told him to F off. Watson was considered fast before his junior year in college and his name first appeared at CF in 2015. Yet somehow as the NFL Combine and draft talk ramped up the line on him was he lacked burst, quickness and speed.

Well throw that theory out the window. Even if you adjust the pro day 40 time which I think you HAVE to, this well built and strong 6'3" 215LB athlete still runs a mid 4.4 to 4.49 40 which is top level. And his 40 inch vertical displays more explosion to go along with a nifty 4.19 shuttle which demonstrates his quickness. People were raving about his hands and route running and while he played in the IVY league which gives him a bit of demotion in the scout's eyes, Watson plain and simple should be drafted and not at the very tail end of the 7th round either.

Trouble is going into his pro day most had him snuggly at FA level-(FA is a dirty word in my vocabulary).

There are a couple of sites very high on him suggesting 4th round. But that is not widespread opinion.

But I caution the enthusiasm. He still needs to jump a couple of levels based on his great pro day because it takes a lot to shed that crap FA label.

Perhaps in a week or two when things have settled down we will have a better read on Watson's status. Bottom line is HE SHOULD BE DRAFTED in a fair world.

Nice workout for WR Mentkowski but his road to the NFL will be very difficult. It could happen but we have to be realistic. His chances are very slim.

I mentioned adjusting the pro day 40 times. Well people are going crazy because highly touted slot Penn State WR Hamilton ran a 4.52 40. ( first flush they kept saying 4.47 but that seems off) But they use a very fast track. Adjusted to a more normal range Hamilton runs a 4.6 flat which is what most thought in the first place. I'm not saying he will be a lousy WR because of that time but it is important to remember Watson is decidedly the more athletic and faster WR of the two.

Here's a mock draft first round by Sports Illustrated that doesn't have Eraserhead in the first round at all! The first four picks are all cracka QB's, they MUST be rayciss! They also project Leighton Vander Esch to Don's Steelers.

I was watching some of Bucky Brooks' first round mock last night on NFL Network and he also has Vander Esch going to Pitt. He had Jackson going to Jacksonville in the first round, and was going on and on about how Jackson was going to "revolutionize" the QB position. Talk about a broken record, we've been hearing the same propaganda since Randall Cunningham entered the league.

Before I get to Apke in a separate post there is no question Lamar Jackson will be a focal point in this draft.

One note on the scarcity of pro day results. They are constantly being updated at walterfootball. Probably not comprehensive but to answer questions above about where to find results I found that site as good as any.

Lamar Jackson will be the third black "running" QB in recent times that sets the media on fire.

Looking back at some footage of Michael Vick predictably the announcers were going bonkers. Vick played for the Falcons from 2001-2008.

Robert Griffin was the next "instant" media hero. He played for the Redskins from 2012-2015.

As we have all noticed the past couple of years the media, especially black analysts, have been both extremely defensive and over optimistic on the black QB's who have entered the NFL. It is obvious that the "status" of the NFL black QB carries a ton of weight for a lot of media people. It seems the recent vintage of black QB's are "run" types and seldom do you see classic drop back black QB's these days. Teddy Bridgewater is the first one to come to mind but with no bias I have found him to be very unimpressive.

With all that as a backdrop there is a "special" place in the media for the hyper athletic QB like Lamar Jackson. Black athletes are overly romanticized by the media and we here at caste are totally aware of that. Lamar Jackson represents the media's "wet dream."

The NBA especially since Michael Jordan has decided to market their sport THROUGH certain black stars to the point where teams often take a back seat to the "STARS." One of the most noticeable aspects of this type of player focus is the hammering away at the notion of "otherworldly" black athleticism as games are reduced to side shows as the black athletes feats take center stage.

A player like Lamar Jackson hits that SWEET SPOT. For the record I wouldn't touch this guy with a ten foot pole as a QB or otherwise.
That said the media is pining for another running black QB that they can go nuts over. The running black QB doesn't "follow" the rules and this especially delights media folk. Vick improvised and ran around playground style which drew attention to his athletic ability. The OL were just cows who served very little purpose. With a player like Vick it was all about him and there was very little of that old fashioned team work where players work in a synergistic way. The old "white" way of playing sports where team play where every player feels like they serve a purpose for the greater good doesn't factor into much of the Vick running around playing some superhero. Kind of like youth football where the black kid runs around all day long as his teammates just stand there and watch. You sense a QB like Tyrod Taylor was groomed that way.

In other words what the media wants is for Lamar Jackson to fully display his athletic ability and that nothing else is all that important.
Just another chapter of pushing the idea blacks are superior athletes. The media fear I suppose is that the audience might "forget" that notion so they hammer it home endlessly.

The good news is I don't think Jackson has what it takes to succeed in the NFL. In the meantime we will have to weather the BS and the hyper caste talk surrounding him until he is buried in the overrated QB cemetery. The sooner the better.

A special teams player? A back up safety who might emerge as a starter in a year or two? Not the type of player that comes to mind when it comes to a first priority. Nevertheless it shouldn't come as a surprise that the most IMPORTANT player for me in this draft is who else TROY APKE. No he isn't the first rounder sure shot etc. and the jury is still out as to whether Apke will even get drafted. Still I will go bat crazy if he is not drafted. I am not kidding. To me he represents a great danger to the smug NFL caste system.

I decided to do some research after some caste talk went flying prior to the Penn State pro day. More on that in a moment.

My suspicion was confirmed. Caste HC James Franklin did not recruit Apke. Apke gave HC Bill O'Brien a verbal in 2013. Franklin took over in 2014 As many know Apke was a stud WR in HS but Franklin decided to switch him to S. The idea to try him out at CB of course would never occur to a coach like Franklin. Remember folks this is the coach who IGNORED and did not recruit local player RB Zane Dudek who now stars at Yale. Franklin continues to AVOID recruiting white RB's WR"s or DB's even though PA is loaded with white talent in those positions.

So Apke who was a star sprinter in HS with a natural athletic body languished on special teams for a couple of years before seeing legitimate time at S in 2016.

This past season he finally became a starter. He played well but towards the last few games of the season he was DYNAMIC. He carried that over in the "minor" all star game he played in. Thank God someone saw to it that he was invited to the NFL Combine where he proved to be the best and most naturally athletic player at the entire combine.

Before the Penn State pro day Franklin suggested that media hero RB Barkley could have run a 4.2 40 yard dash and that his combine performance was out of character. Well he ran a 4.41 instead of a 4.2. Talk is cheap. He then pontificated on the "greatness" of Barkley. When questioned about the combine performances of other Penn State players Franklin gave a drab "our guys did well" answer without a word about Apke who needs more publicity than Barkley at this point. Barkley is a sure shot early pick. Why not try to pull up a player like Apke who needs all the help he can get since his draft status is NOT certain?

Franklin hinted at how the "athletic" ability of CB Christian Campbell might blow people's minds. I guess Apke's "mind blowing " combine performance only gets a "our guys did well." There was earlier talk elsewhere of Campbell running a 4.2 40. Campbell leaped very well with a 41 inch vertical tying Apke. His Broad Jump was over 11 feet, very impressive. And his 40 time? A 4.51 on a fast watch and fast track. Converting into a more realistic time that equates closer to Combine times Campbell is more of a 4.59/4.60 40 yard dash runner.

It as almost as if Franklin is disappointed that the fastest, by far, Penn State player is ole white Troy Apke. I guess we are lucky Franklin finally started him but he could have fallen through the cracks like so many other white players who never get to the lift off stage. Apke almost did anyway--one year as a starter guys are mostly ignored. The NFL draft people better not ignore him!!!

Shadowlight, I hope you don't mind if I use your post at some of the DWF forums I frequent. This is a very well written post. Sometimes I read stuff on Caste Football that I wish I would have written. If the rep feature were still available on here, I would have given you some.

Walterfootballs updates leave so many players out - they are useless as are Gil Brandt's NFL.com updates. Walterfootball does not even mention Apke in his summary of the PSU pro day.

Sounds like Darnold had a solid pro day and the Browns were in heavy attendance so he might end up as the first QB taken - I was personally hoping he would end up in Buffalo. Hopefully the Browns screw this up too.

I bought a Pro Football Weakly draft guide. I was curious to Ryan Nall's ranking and evaluation.

Evidently they don't think anything of Ryan Nall. He's not mentioned at all. I looked for Fullback/H Back afterthought section where the occasional white prospect has been found in the past, but it looks like they've done away with that section.

The Jets traded up to the third overall pick. My guess is they are going to target Rosen. I really hope the Bills aren't targeting Jackson as their QB.
Yep, that's just like the Jets - Get the Jewish guy who's hurt all the time - same old Jets.

I wonder if they will market him as a new age "Super Jew" for the Gang Green masses, Fiedler and Rosenfels were never marketed like this but they weren't really elite talents.

To follow up a few things. Sure Tannehill do as you please. Thinking about players like Michael Vick they take the role of the "outlaw." The macho romantic figure (think Clint Eastwood westerns) who doesn't have to play by the rules. In football the play breaks down and outside of any playbook they improvise. And the media eats it up because it focuses on the black superman myth. The old he doesn't NEED the white man's structure and way of things as he smashes things up.
Yet that runs contrary to the idea of "racial harmony" where a team tries to perform in unison like the great teams from the past.
The media is always suggesting it is white people who resist "racial harmony" but sports over the past thirty plus years has actually promoted disharmony by pushing the black superman myth ( along with the notion that whites are inferior) beyond the level of tolerance.

To Leo's point about waterfootball. Truth be told I can be "had." Ha! And for the NFL draft people and the NFL itself, not that they know me or give a rat's ass, there are ways to "soften" me up. Walterfootball did that by listing Troy Apke as pick number 169 in the 5th round in their mock draft.

Sounds great but I am still not receiving the VERIFICATION I need that Apke will positively be drafted and if and until that happens I will remain on pins and needles.

Interesting tidbit that links Justin Watson and Troy Apke. They are BOTH represented by a small agency known as JL Sports. This firm is representing 13 players for the upcoming draft. Most of them are no names. This agency does have a few clients currently playing in the NFL but they are no match for the big boys. Some of their most well known clients are TE Cameron Brate, WR Malcolm Mitchell, FB Kyle Juszczk, QB Brian Hoyer along with their "star" client QB Joe Flacco. Despite those names it concerns me they are so low level. But perhaps one way of GROWING your agency is to land two of the more intriguing and easily athletic players going in Apke and Watson.

There is no doubt in my mind that both players deserve to get drafted. In fact both Apke and Watson should be drafted no later than the 5th round. But as we know both players are still listed overall in that dreaded fringe area where a player often does not get drafted.

And just to repeat my mantra. Not getting drafted is NOT an option for me. Getting invited to a camp as a free agent is the ULTIMATE INSULT in my mind. It turns deserving players into street beggars. It is DEGRADING especially for white skill players. I know a few have found their way through the cracks but most disappear without a trace. I want the Apkes and Watsons of the world getting drafted and receiving the proper respect, recognition, dignity and financial rewards they so richly deserve.

I can definitely see the "Supa Jew" thing with (((Rosen))) and the Jew York market. Definitely a big difference between guys like Julian Edelman and guys like (((Rosen))), with Edelman passing the Trump litmus test, wandering "off the kibbutz", and being treated by the sports talking heads as White. Meanwhile, (((Rosen))) can be counted on to be a reliable mouthpiece for the far-left agenda.

NFL = #BlackPrivilege #JewishPrivilege #LiberalPrivilege

I hope Darnold doesn't go to the Browns. I can picture them making a Tim Couch (who is wrongly labeled a mega-bust) out of the whole deal.
