I'm sure the thinking was to get a black QB selected in the 1st round even if it was the last pick of the 1st round.

Agreed. I'm not really much of a conspiracy theorist but I do think there was some wheeling and dealing behind the scenes to make sure Lamar Jackson did not look stupid (a la Geno Smiff) by sliding out of the first round, which he most certainly would have had Philly not have agreed to trade down with Baltimore. That's why I'm rooting against Jackson even more so than other black quarterbacks because he is a black quarterback in the truest sense of the word. I have nothing against him on a personal level but the PC crowd that was pushing for him has been nothing short of sickening. It was even worse for me as a fan being that I'm from the Miami area (Jackson's hometown) so I had to listen to all the local shock jocks on sports radio pimp this kid like he was God almighty, and that the Dolphins MUST draft him. It made me want to puke every time some shock jock or DWF caller brought him up. You would have thought he was Joe friggen Montana.

Another point worth bringing up is that New England had 2 picks at the end of the first round and passed on Jackson both times, thus proving that Belichick's supposed "interest" in Jackson was all a ruse. Belichick knows this mental midget could not run his complex offense. I assume Adam Gase knew that as well since it's been reported after the draft that Lamar Jackson was never even considered. Gase runs a similar offense scheme that Belichick runs which emphasizes quick reads and accuracy, neither of which fits Jackson's skill set.

Yes, I think that's probably true. Draft picks should be used for making your team better, not for playing racial politics.

It was a black GM who drafted him and he's also on his way out so I doubt he gives a crap about making the team better. Probably just another way to stick it to whitey.

Among all the other barriers white athletes face to me one of the most disturbing and never ever discussed by the media is how black athletes often sabotage white players especially skilled players. And keep in mind it might not be all blatant and obvious. It could also happen on a sub conscience level. All of this stuff starts at High School levels or even earlier. As an example was it not strange that the whiter half of the Patriots played lights out in this past Super Bowl whereas the all black defense stunk up the joint beyond belief ? Everyone knows the Pats defense lost that game.

Which leads me to Lamar Jackson and running black QB's. I have suspected for over a decade now that college teams are wary of white running backs. Since teams are overwhelmingly black, especially the starters, it always seemed to me that they were not "all in" on helping the white RB succeed. With a black RB though they try their asses off to help him. Many complained here when CM landed in Carolina but I and a few others did not. In what could be a blessing in disguise CM plays with a black QB and this helps get the black teammates "on board " with the program. In plain English if teams are TOO white at certain positions it most assuredly will affect "team unity." Conversely white players, think of the hard working OL who never slack off, never deviate their level of play due to the race of their teammates. It is sickening to think it has come to this but I do believe black athletes, in general, don't try as hard if a white skill player gets designated the " hero."

Now Newton does run but he is more of a pass/mobile QB type. Lamar Jackson like Michael Vick is more of a run/pass later type. Beyond the fact that run/pass later QB's have failed in the NFL despite their cable ready highlight reels, this type of QB is not as readily accepted as a more conventional black QB or a drop back white QB who passes the ball to black WR's. There is the punchline. Black WR's want the ball and with a running QB their chances of seeing the ball on a regular basis go way down. The status of the black WR is one of the main reasons white QB's who can pass the ball are still prominent players in the league. Plus these QB's possess the skills necessary to win.

The situation in Baltimore could get ugly though. Most of the"team" could get behind Jackson due to black racism to the detriment of Flacco and ultimately the team. But I suspect the black WR's would prefer Flacco. And who could blame them? If I was a WR I would not want to stand around all day watching my QB running around like a wild goose.

Either way I am with most here who feel Jackson is just another in a growing line of over hyped black running QB's.

I think running negro QB's run so as to be the hilight reel, the "man" not necessarily to help out the other guys on the team win. They want the star treatment, endorsements etc. If they get sacked or stopped for a short run they know they wont be blamed, it will be the other 10 guys out there who are blamed and mostly fixated on the white players. Flutie, Farve, Young were all better scramblers, smarter QB's than any Negro QB playing today, yet they wanted to win not be the hilight reel man...

Flacco is going to be benched after his first bad game. Harbaugh is already talking about Jackson's accuracy and quick feet.

I'm sure you're right about them running to be highlighted but there is a more important reason in my opinion. That is that when everything doesn't go as planned (the play), they panic and from there on in, it's all them and no one else. With a White QB, he lets the play develop. If he can stay with it and find a secondary receiver he will. But if not, then he takes off, but only when he's run out of passing options. And even then he's thinking on the run. There's very little thought process with black QBs. It's all about athletic ability and nothing else. The one exception I think is Russell Wilson. But he's got a lot of White in him.

Linebacker Josey Jewell was drafted in the 4th round at 106 by Denver. Smart pick by them.

The Patriots, who desperately need linebacker help, could have picked him at 105 but instead traded the pick away. They made a mistake in not taking Jewell. They're in a win now mode and Jewell would have helped them win now.

One of the criticisms of white players is that they're unathletic. Here's something that shows Jewell has above average athleticism. You add that athleticism to his instinctiveness and skill level and you have yourself a pretty good player.

Another athlete that had an impressive RAC....Free Safety Andy Smigiera (Robert Morris) 6 '- 1" 205...runs 4.46 & 42 inch Vertical would have been Tops at NFL Combine ahead of TE Mike Gesicki 41.5" ...no doubt would get a look at Corner Back if not so pale. Supposed to have Tryouts at Rookie Mini Camps w Cardinals & Seahawks

One of my draft mags gives us this expert analysis of Tyrod Taylor the QB: "Taylor did an excellent job of protecting the ball and running with it, but he struggles to throw it..."

The usual black QBs don't see enough, fast enough and seem to always be getting rid of the ball late. Plus, they have little idea of putting "Touch" on the ball.

I hope I am wrong but the only white skill position player drafted will be Braxton Berrios to New England in the 6th round. Even Nall is going to need a FA ticket. Mark my words. There are 6 or 7 white wr's worthy of the draft and this is going to get ugly my friends.

I missed on the 5 wr's getting drafted which is great but man to call the round, player and team. Damn Im good. Once again I predict Max Borghi will be a Heisman finalist at rb for Washington State in a few years.

You nailed that prediction of Berrios to New England in the 6th. Right player, right team, right round!

I hope your Borghi prediction turns out right too!

To me the biggest snubs in the draft were ILB Frank Ginda and DE/OLB Joe Ostman. Ginda led the nation in tackles and Ostman led the nation in sacks. Both tested out to have good athleticism. Neither one was drafted.

You can't tell me there were 256 players better than Ginda and Ostman.

Mike Epstein from Illinois could very well be in that conversation in a couple years as well!

I was reading a blurb for an article about Ryan Nall, you know, the freakishly talented huge tailback who is very elusive and has a number of long TD runs but may be forced to become a fullback in the NFL because of his race, and found the usual language: Ryan Nall, running back, Oregon State - Nall played on awful teams at OregonState, but is a big (6-2, 235 pounds) and punishing runner, who was relatively productive under difficult circumstances. He often dishes out more than he takes from tacklers. There are questions about his overall athleticism, ...

It's on some site that you have to sign in to see it if anyone wants to look at the entire article, but there's really no need, the same boilerplate derogatory descriptions are written about White RBs and WRs every year: http://www.theoaklandpress.com/spor...ions-nfl-draft-picks-at-2018-scouting-combine
Don, Is there a way to add a new subject line to CF? What I mean is, we have the first subject being the NFL, then Arizona Cardinals....down to College Football, High School Football, etc. Something that specifically identifies and compares the combine numbers of white players vs black players that we can reference quicker without having to research all the time. I don't know, something like NFL Combine Comparison Black vs White. I'm asking because for one, my memory is not what it use to be and if I could go to, or tell someone else who may not believe me or doesn't think there's any discrimination when it come to white football players, it would be a quicker reference and that someone could plainly see without having to do their own research. Does that make sense? The Ryan Nall situation has particularly gained some questions among people I speak to about CF. I know we've got that information about comparisons, but there's no quick reference. I was just thinking it would be something lurkers could go to quicker.
Example:
Nall: 6'021, 232lbs.
40: 4.58
V: 33
BJ: 10'02
20 yd. shuttle 4.16
3 cone drill: 6.95

Compared to 4 year NFL RB, TJ Yeldon
Yeldon: 6'012, 226lbs.
40: 4.61
V:36
BJ: 9'09
20 yd. shuttle: 4.22
3 cone drill: 7.19
Clearly, Nall shows more overall athleticism according to the combine, than Yeldon, yet Yeldon gets drafted and Nall is an UDFA. Carolina Panthers RB Elijah Hood's numbers were worse than Yeldon's and he too was drafted in the 7th round.
I know it would take some work, but it would help me in possibly to gain some interest with people I discuss the site with. It seems that for many people the numbers don't lie.
It doesn't have to be limited to just the NFL either.
I recently posted the combine numbers of Wake Forest's RB's Carney and Colburn, where Carney, 4.5 40, clearly had the better numbers than Colburn, 4.72 40. A white RB would never get a look at a D-1 College with a 4.72 40 time

CS, at this point I think the best thing to do is supplement the annual Draft thread with an annual Combine thread. We have the 2018 NFL Draft thread, the 2019 NFL Draft thread, etc., just as we have annual threads for the preseason and White purge. If someone starts a 2019 Combine thread we can put comparisons there.

The reason I don't want to start an entire new forum is that at this time we simply don't have enough posters who do black-white comparisons in measurables, production, etc. It would probably be more embarrassing than impressive. Now, if the number of posters increases, including those who do research, I'll be glad to dedicate a forum (and equivalent forums for college football, high school football and other sports) to their findings. As it is, the forums for track, hockey, soccer, golf and tennis are for all intents and purposes dead at the present time.

Maybe we could just start a new thread in the NFL Forum and one in the High School forum (make it a "sticky" thread) - title it Player workout comparisons or something along those lines. It's not a bad idea to just have one thread dedicated to throwing player comparisons. Right now they are scattered about. Having one thread to reference would obviously make it much easier to track player comparisons during the combine or all of those SPARQ camps.

The track thread will start heating up in late Jan to Feb when indoor season is in full swing. Then it will go to mid to late March. It will be slow again until late May to June. Then the
outdoor track season starts. We had another white kid go sub 10 last summer from Italy and he is amazing. Just could be the next Lemaitre and he is only 20 years of age. His name
is Fillppo Tortu. Here is a short video of him before he ran sub 10 last summer. He could be a olympic or world champion someday. He is that good!

Good idea. Once the threads are started in the NFL and High School forums I'll pin them.

Maybe you could have just one NFL Combine thread rather than have one year to year. That way info can be added every year and people can go back in time to look up other athletes.

So instead of having NFL Combine 2019 just have an NFL Combine thread and update the single thread year by year. So 2019, 2018, 2017, etc would all be in the same thread.

Past information could be easily referenced this way.

After I checked out a Manchester United match at the beginning of this season, back in early September, and saw that they were starting 8/11 dindus and then the next week Liverpool, starting 9/11 dindus, that was it for me for soccer. Right now on Twitter, Pogba, Rashford, Bailly and Lukaku are trending in the top ten...all black in the "English" Premiere League. The other leagues, especially the German league, have really darkened as well, so there's really not much to post on.

I used to follow golf quite a bit and will probably start doing so again in 2019 as it is one of the few remaining very White-friendly sports. Same with hockey. I'll probably start following that again. The future of tennis is uncertain and will probably have to rely on Eastern Europeans from here on out.

Just read an article on The Draft Network (it's a newer draft site run by what looks like the next generation of white cuck draft "experts"). It stated that Kyler Murray is already better than several NFL QBs and could start over them. Stuff like this really annoys me - a 5'8" QB with average arm strength, accuracy issues is better than current NFL QBs. Just goes to show that the draft "experts" never change their colors - always making skin color the main pre-requisite.

I have also yet to hear about any sort of invitation to the Senior Bowl/Shrine Game/NFLPA Collegiate bowl for Patrick Laird. He looks to be written off already.

Lol. Only shot Murray has at NFL is embracing a position change ala Antwan Randle El. No doubt in my mind he will be given every opportunity to stink it up as a Midget QB first though..
