Going into the Ohio State game Penn State RB Barkley was being hailed as the "next coming." And he put his mark down early with an opening kick off return and an early 36 yard TD scamper. The coronation and King crown was set in motion. Then in one of the greatest stats I have seen this year for the rest of the game he gained roughly 8 yards on 20 carries. Not a misprint. 8 Yards which means he averaged less than minus two yards a carry. Not too inspiring from the so called Heisman front runner. Penn State could not control the Ohio State front 7 especially their front four that features two noteworthy DE studs Nick Bosa and Sam Hubbard. Hubbard is a red shirt junior and is expected to declare for the draft. He is easily one of my favorite college players . Dripping with pure athleticism he just looks the part of an NFL DE and during this huge game he simply could not be blocked. It will be interesting to see where Hubbard and Bosa go from here but I suspect they will continue to blow up O lineman and send Ohio State to the final four. I would be surprised if they lost another game prior to the playoffs and they could very well win it all due mainly to their ferocious front four. Below is one of the top plays I have seen all year where Hubbard blows up the QB and Barkley together. I posted this video in the college section but what the heck why not again and this time with audio. The guy is an animal and I see his draft stock rising perhaps near the top of the first round when it is all said and done.
