Ok, I smelled a rat after Josh Allen was outed for insensitive tweets on the eve of the draft, then the same for Josh Hader at the All-Star game. Now, an hour after coming within an out of pitching a no-hitter, Atlanta pitcher Sean Newcomb addresses insensitive tweets he allegedly posted in 2011 while in high school...

Same bs about quoting rap lyrics and making homophobic statements...

I’m sorry, but these carefully timed, patently contrived “revelations” reek of a psyop. Anything to keep the social agenda alive and well in the sports pages and sports talk shows.

Whether the athletes agreed to participate, or the tweets were real, is immaterial. The fact is that the media is relentlessly f*cking with the public with their White shaming, divide and conquer garbage. Rather than engaging in the debate, we need to simply reject the stories all together. Wake up to psyops.

P1$$ on “apologizing” for some penny-annie high school mess. There’s FAR too many gutless capitulators today. That’s one thing I respect about President Trump...he doesn’t retract his (triggering) statements. ;)

Now Trea Turner apologizing for the exact same thing: 2011 tweets with a gay slur and a joke with racial undertones. They never show screenshots of the actual tweets. This is a totally contrived operation, for sure.

Lesson : Delete your Twitter account. Especially if you are a successful white male. Or an ordinary Joe.

Exactly! Here’s more total horse dung as candy@$$ “Tw@tter” users share (snitch on) ancient MLB player tweets that show n(supposed) “toxic culture”. These putrid pantywafers are such cowardly cream puffs! They need to “taste” a 90 mph bean ball...or a Louisville slugger.

This is (((their))) retaliation for "us" going after Hollywood ped0s like James Gunn, et al and their past twitter posts...getting Gunn canned from his next directing gig.

I wonder how many of the precious affletes in the NFL and NBA and college ball in both have past twitter feeds that have highly "objectionable" material or statements in them? "Funny" that only White men in the MLB (in these cases) are being targeted.

Going after white athletes in any sport. Did the same thing to Divencenzo and Allen ! Before that it was John Rockford!

...fixed it for you. Come to think of it, they'd go after "Jim Rockford" of The Rockford Files since he was a White alpha male. :)

Quiet here on the baseball front.

I saw White Sox CF Adam Engel go 3-4 last night and he is batting over .400 the past week. But it is too early to tell if he will stick in the Major Leagues.

His current bating average is now at .240 which is not bad for a 26 year old who many fear wouldn't be able to hit enough to stay in the big leagues. He hit .166 in a somewhat limited stint with the White Sox last season I believe.

Here is the rub. He is a sensational athlete who at 6'1" 200 could have been a top tier football player but while Wisconsin football played footsies with him he signed up to play baseball at Louisville.

Most ultra white athletes like Engel get mired in the minors and never get a sniff of the big time. He is already getting rave reviews for his defense. He has climbed two walls to rob players of home runs. He has blinding speed.

I root hard for athletes like Engel.

Another younger (24) Speedster CF getting his feet wet is Steven Duggar of the Giants. Like Engel he is no sure thing to stick. Both of them have to prove they can consistently hit big league pitching. But like Engel he has had his moments. The last two nights he has hit a triple and a home run.

Another young CF to keep an eye on is the Cardinals' Harrison Bader. Like the two above he can really run down the fly balls but his bat is also a question.

Hoping for the best for all three. Time will tell.

Yes, Shadowlight it has been very quiet here.
I certainly haven't been posting much. Just really busy with my faith, family and work. Business is very good right now and at my age I need to really make hay while I can!
Anyway, good points on the budding young stars, thanks.
There are several other players I can think of that came on in their mid twenty's and are now pretty good players as well as athletes.
Whit Merrifield, OF for the Royals comes to mind. He led the AL in stolen bases last season, (34). He has 28 so far this season and is batting .308 in the lead off position.
Also, Travis Jankowski not a power hitter, but fleet of foot has 21 stolen bases leading off for the Padres.
… and not sure what Christian Yelich is race wise, but is a very fine player with good speed, 14 SB and power, 25 HR's and batting .310. CF for the Brewers.
Andrew Benintendi, OF for the Red Sox is another fine young talent. 20 SB and 15 HR's, hitting .290.

On another note I watched the Rockies CF Charlie Blackmon make two outstanding diving catches to begin the game against LA the other night. He has averaged around 24 HR's and is career .301 hitter!
So, lots to discuss on the baseball thread. We just need to do more of it. Despite the odds, or what they're up against, whitey continues to do well in MLB!

All good names Carolina.

Yelich is part, perhaps a quarter, Japanese.

I love Benintendi's smooth swing and all around talent.

SS Trevor Story is another star in the making.

For anyone interested, Mike Trout will be playing live on ESPN at 8:05. Angels playing the Astros. Also, rising star Alex Bregman playing for the Astros. I don't normally watch ESPN, but I don't get to see Trout play much on the east coast. Thought is might a nice for some of you tired of the NFL.

Carolina mentioned Trea Turner above and I follow no other player as closely as Turner outside of Mike Trout.

One of the biggest disappointments this season has been the play of the Washington Nationals. I am no fan of Dusty Baker but I thought it was short sighted to get rid of him and said so at the time. They were humming pretty well but they have stalled terribly this season with their new hire. Terrible job by the GM too. Trigger happy idiot. This team has looked out of sorts all season. If it wasn't for stud pitcher Scherzer who knows how low they would have sunk.

Harper has heated up as late but his average is still too low for his talent but overall the team has faltered badly and lost some terrible games in the late innings.

Turner is a very important player and even though he has had a solid season I can't help but be disappointed. For a speed player he is not very selective at the plate hence his ridiculous up and down moments. He can have a great game and go 3-4 and follow it up with four games where he goes 0-5. His two biggest issues are lack of walks and plate discipline and for a speed player that is a necessity.

That said he plays terrific defense at a premier position (SS) and he has managed so far to avoid the bottom falling out. He is batting around .270, has some pop (16HRs) and as Carolina mentioned he leads the league in stolen bases. So he has remained solid but I expect and hope to see more. Solid doesn't cut it in the caste world. We need special white players to rise above the fray.

I would love to see him turn it up a notch this month and of course it would be wonderful if he could lead (both leagues) in stolen bases. Won't be easy. Black players have a knack for bolstering their stats at the end of the season.

Anytime I bring up a player they go into a damn slump. Hopefully that is not the case here with Turner.

Both Turner and Harper went deep today in the Nationals win.
Turner's 17th and Harper's 31st and 87 RBI's.
Harper tied it with a two-run HR and won it in the 10th with a SAC Fly.
If Harper continues his late season surge, he will no doubt become the highest paid MLB player in history. Commanding 400-500 million!!

With Mike Trout out again, hit by a wild pitch two nights ago, there was no less talent on display last night!
Rockies SS Trevor Story hits 3 HR's. (31)
AL MVP candidate Alex Bregman with a HR, (29) and 5 RBI's
Astros also got a HR from Gattis. (25)
Braves 1b Freddie Freeman with his 21st HR, batting .307
Braves Markakis, 2-4 2 RBI's, .304
Red Sox, OF Benintendi, 3-5, 2 Runs and an RBI
Cardinals, Carpenter, 2-5, 2 RBI's
Cardinals Matt Adams, 2-4 , 2HR's, (20) and 4 RBI's
Nationals, Harper and Eaton go a combined 6-10
Dodger's Muncy 32nd HR
Dodger's Bellinger, 22nd HR
Cubs Daniel Murphy seems to be fitting in with his new team, went 3-4,HR, 2 runs and an RBI
Seattle CF Haniger with his 24th HR

On a side note, the mostly white Oakland A's took the diversified Yankees to the wood shed last night 8-2.
The Athletics roster is not filled superstars as one might put it, but they have a steady group talent in Chapman 3B, Lowrie, 2B, pretty good 1B with power in Olson, Piscotty, RF, Pinder LF and I believe the catcher position is manned mostly with Lucroy.
Pitchers include Fiers, Cahill, and Gearrin among others.
They currently are in 2nd place behind the Astros and look to making the playoffs with an 84-57 record currently.

Thanks for the updates!

As the playoff race heats up this is a good time to tune in. Admittedly I haven't watched much ball since spring and early summer, but it's time to pay attention!

Trea Turner leads the NL in stolen bases with 37.
Whit Merrifield leads the AL with 35.
….and they say white guys can't run.

Good news regarding our speedsters along the basepaths CS!

For The Brewers both Travis Shaw and Christian Yelich hit their 29th home runs tonight! Moustakas has 25.

Also Trevor Story hit his 33rd Homer. Positional record for The Rockies.

Good news indeed. Although not a speedster, Phillies young all star 1B Rhys Hoskins, hit his 31st HR.
Turner stole his MLB leading 38th base.
