Their DT can even catch ! Sam Brinks what a nice catch, WR!
and what a catch it was! no surprise to anyone here, surely, but the defensive tackle who made the Jim Edmonds-like over the shoulder catch is a former walk-on.

also, it was a pretty nice throw by the punter.

for Penn State, McSorley is out with a knee injury. hope it isn’t serious. the backup qb is a powerful, slippery runner. one wonders why he hasn’t been on the field as a running back throughout his career, if coaches really want the best playmakers out there ... oh! he’s a White cat, so he’s “obviously” not a good enough talent. pfft.

Looks like USC's defense is missing both white LBs - Gustin is out for the year and Smith remains sidelined.

One of the biggest positives to come so far today is the fact Garrett Groshek out played Wisconsin's starting RB with 7 carries for 68 yards and 4 rec for 20 yards, compared to Taylor's meager 11 carries for 46 yards. Groshek now has a chance to join elite company as a white RB starting for a Power 5 school, joining Cade Carney, Patrick Laird, and Mike Epstein!

Stanley looks terrible so far for Iowa. Not sure if the weather is a culprit or not but he needs to string together some completions.

Epstein and Carney have become second stringers, unfortunately....If Taylor can’t go next week, Taiwan Deal will probably start ahead of him.....Groshek and his stats are much like Glines.....Not that different than their highly touted, Heisman backfield mates.....Mention that these young men are even close to the same would make most pundits laugh in all of our faces....

By the way, on McSorleys long TD run, Moss was being held all the way down field by a wideout......

Laird and McGrew starting in the Cal/Wash game. He’ll may have frozen.

Iowa’s defense is as good as anyone else in the country, and much better than most. Stanley played poorly even before his thumb injury, but afterwards he couldn’t throw with any accuracy at all.

McSorley deserves a LOT of credit. he played well despite getting banged up in the first half. outside of his tight end, he doesn’t have much to throw to, and so he makes plays with his feet. after watching this game, i am even more perplexed why the backup quarterback doesn’t play a LOT as a multi-threat (qb/rb/wideout) guy. he’s big, he’s physical, and he can really run.

Stevens is a really under the radar QB. I like McSorley alot - he is fun to watch, gritty and wins games. I think Stevens will be fun to watch next season as well. They used him alot more last year than they have this year which makes no sense since PSU's skill position players are not all that good.

I'd like to see some more attrition from the USC QBs. JT Daniels is probably the starter for the next 3 seasons - Both Sears and Fink can play at a high level so once again we see great QBs being stockpiled and wasting their eligibility.

FS1 announcer Tim Brando "that was a McCaffrey-like run by Patrick Laird".

Max Borghi only a Freshman is an excellent All-purpose Tailback!

Washington's Greg Gaines 6'-2" 325lb D-Lineman is Elite! Could be another Kyle Williams who can't play forever; in the NFL

Athletic Tommy Stevens played some WR last season for Penn State

Nick Fitzgerald 76 yard TD run!

Middle Tennessee DB Reed Blankenship with 100+ yard INT TD! Check out Catch & Run!
Forward to 52 seconds ..thought took care of that

Fitzgerald with a 76-yard TD run. Glad to see Miss St knock off A&M and Fisher's Quota.

Halfway through the 4th Qtr...

NC State QB, Ryan Finley, with 23/38 for 454 yards 3 TD 0 INT while Syracuse QB, Eric Dungey, with 24/34 for 381 yards 3 TD 0 INT

Both teams at or near 100% "diverse" on defense.

Wazzu QB Gardner Minshew shredded Stanford's defense in their come from behind victory. Time for the media to put him into the Heisman conversation - he has had back to back great performances and I believe he leads the nation in passing. He is an ECU transfer and has been one of the best under the radar stories of the year as he has lead Washington St to a 7-1 record. Stanford is having somewhat of a down year - the racial component of what is making up their defense may have something to do with that.

I have noticed the media had put the Clemson RB onto the heisman shortlist two weeks ago - since than Trevor Lawrence has really taken command of the offense and put up huge numbers.

Nice to see Louisville lose again and S. Florida get their first loss. Too bad Mizzou came up just short against Kentucky, but good to see Syracuse give NC State their second loss of the season and knock them out of the top 25.

Not a fan of Oklahoma State whatsoever, but I hope they give Texas their second loss of the season. Also hoping Arizona beats Oregon although I hope Herbert has a good game.

Stanford TE and future NFL’er Kaden Smith with 9 Rec for 112 Yards and a TD. Georgia QB Jake Fromm rebounded from last week and went 17 of 24 for 240 Yards and 3 TD 0 INT in their win against dreaded Florida to survive the media push for the quota...for another week, at least.

Washington LB Ben Burr-Kirven had another monster game that put him over 100 tackles on the season, he put up 14 tot tackles and a sack. I've heard he's a rising prospect in the 2019 draft, looks like the real deal. DT Gregg Gaines, and S Taylor Rapp are 2 more Washington players that are highly rated in this years draft!

I don’t know about y’all but I root for the asian players like Taylor Rapp and Thomas Duarte from UCLA a few years back, I basically always root for the underdogs. I’m a lacrosse fan and I like the black guys that play because there’s very few, I guess that’s why I love white guys that play RB/WR/DB/KR.

Honestly asians are thought of as even less athletic than whites, so I support Rapp who is half white/asian. If he was full asian it would be questionable for me, but he passes for me.

TwentyTwo - another FCS QB with a great performance yesterday was Dartmouth QB Jared Gerbino - 24 rush 183 yds and 1 td. It looks like they are primarily an option team with Gerbino at the helm.

Thanks for the wrap 22. Good point about WR Mannix. I was watching last night and he seemed to be limping and in distress. And obviously RB Zane Dudek has been playing hurt. He has two more years after this one so hopefully he returns to his own self next season.

Many posters covered key players/games up above.

The whole day played out in one long minor key. Not a good day on many levels.

Iowa's offense has a way of shooting themselves in the foot and they did it again yesterday. A banged up McSorley bailed out Penn State . Iowa's defense is national championship caliber but you can't win if the offense makes a bunch of mental mistakes. They did the same thing against Wisconsin.

Glad caste Purdue and their young black playmakers got stuffed by the good old fashioned tough defense Michigan State plays. DB Matt Morrissey sealed the game with a late interception. And Northwestern pulled out a win against Wisconsin but WR Nagel had a bad day--everyone is entitled to one bad day. I agree above that RB Groshek could have NFL potential. Just needs to play more steadily never an easy thing. He is their most versatile back by far. Wisconsin needs to bring in some white WRs dammit. LB Connelly was really impressive yesterday. And I saw the TE Hockenson leap over defenders move too. Very impressive athlete.

WR Andy Isabella was bottled up early versus UCONN but then exploded for a 75 yard TD as he got past the DB. Lo and behold there was a "late" flag for holding. I am watching the TD getting all excited and then the balloon pops. Man do I hate it when great white WR deep plays get called back. He had a 38 yard TD pass shortly after that as UMASS stunned UCONN.

SEC--skip apart from one great run by Taysom Hill's cousin (ha) Nick Fitzgerald.

And of course black WRs had huge days Saturday putting up video game stats. What is the one constant theme behind these great stats? All black defenses and all black DBs. Getting sizzled like steaks over and over again. We are not watching football anymore. We are watching garbage. The Big 12 is the most obvious example but it is all over the place. Black DBs the "cornerstone of black athletic supremacy" are playing at an unprecedented low level. They are AWFUL. Unless of course if they have a white WR lined up against them. Then and only then do they play harder. I can's stand it.

How the hell does BYU manage to lose to Northern Illinois at home 7-6? To think I thought they were turning a corner. That HC needs to be dismissed pronto.

Nice win by Cal over Washington. Patrick Laird is a do everything back that carries this team albeit LB Evan Weaver has been great this season too.

Put this one in the stupid book. I want to say on record I do not like it when athletes jump up in the air and bump each other celebrating.
Well Notre Dame's excellent LB Drue Tranquill had to be carted off the field after landing awkwardly after a celebratory jump. He nearly fractured his ankle. This is the same player that tore his ACL a few years back doing the same leap up celebration move. Good God man. Use your brain.

It looks like WR Trent Irwin is getting more involved of late. He had a nifty punt return too. And Mel Kiper thinks TE Kaden Smith is first round material. Stanford however is racking up the losses.

At least the Chattanooga Choo Choo ( my nickname for him) WR Bryce Nunnelly bounced back with a nice game in a win.

And once again white defenders are standing out all over the country. I noticed a few white LBs on Virginia and Nebraska dual threat QB Noah Vedral played some but his stats weren't great. I missed the Nebraska game but they must have played some white back ups looking at their box score.

Here is hoping things improve next week.

Nice write up Shadowlight. Yesterday really lacked anything exceptional. Iowa's poor offensive showing took the wind out of my sails.

I agree Leo that Iowa loss completely ruined the day.

One small note about the ND LB situation after Drue Tranquill screwed up his ankle. Back up sophomore Drew White #40 played in his place and looked like he might be ready to start next season. In fact if Tranquill is out White could be the starter next week in the big game against Northwestern.

One FCS player that has flown under the radar is Cal transfer Billy McCrary, he was a backup walk on RB for 3 years at cal and finally did what all other white walk on backups should do and transferred to an FCS school, Abilene Christian. He has responded with 75-691-7 in 8 games, that’s a damn good per carry average. Couldn’t see what his receiving stats are or if he returns kicks
