GREAT opportunity for Coan!

Should be a good matchup at noon tomorrow. Interested to see Nagel vs an inexperienced Wisconsin secondary.

I will be pulling for Northwestern just because I want to see Thorson put up a good game against a good team. It should be the best game of the day as we will see white WRs, a white RB and multiple whites on both sides for defense. Not sure if Nelson will be playing today for Wisco as he has an injury.

After the Britain Covey catch...announcer says "a New England type receiver; Slot guy; great sense of space; Utah coaches compared him to Wes Welker"....Covey throws TD pass as i typed this!

Zach Allen showed again tonight why he's a Future 1st Rounder in the NFL!

Ben Glines earned the right to get some carries tonight. 2nd stringer just 5 carries

Zach Allen is a throw back to an era where giant rangy strongmen roamed defensive lines. Allen is country huge like John Matuszak who used to play for the Raiders and Oilers years ago. Ted Hendricks was another huge cat but he was more of a DE/LB hybrid.

Allen is perfect for 4-3 schemes because you can line him up at tackle at times. He is just so strong and nimble for a player his size. Also when he puts his mitts into the air chances are a ball will get deflected. I agree he looks like a first round pick.

With all this queer "he looks good in shorts" type of approach to defense in this day and age where physicality has been marginalized it is high time to bring back the defensive beast.

Also noticed BC sophomore S Mike Palmer #18 was in on a heck of lot of plays.

And to echo the two posts above regarding Britain Covey I caught half of his act last night. I also heard the Patriots comments. Covey is a small multi purpose WR/QB/KR/PR who moves like a jackrabbit.

Since he went on a two year mission Covey might be draft eligible but I think at least another year in college would be helpful to his cause.

Their are two concerns with Covey regarding the NFL. The first is smallish quick white players are rarely given even a thought while similar sized black players dot the NFL landscape. The second is because of his frame one worries about durability and you know black NFL defensive players would love to break a white quick as a hiccup player like Covey in two. But "similar" black players in the NFL hang around because they aren't targeted.

That said if used properly any NFL offensive coach with half a brain should be able to incorporate this dynamo into an NFL offensive scheme. Odds will be tough given the history of the NFL ignoring small white players but Covey is just too damn special to be cast aside.

If Covey gets a solid grade as an early entrant he should declare. He was phenomenal as a freshman and is already 21 years old in his sophomore season after his mission.

Bohl is a complete sell out - starting a black quarterback now.
Surprise, Surprise...

Wyoming DT "has been suspended indefinitely after being issued a summons for harassment and false imprisonment following an altercation with a hotel employee, coach Craig Bohls said Friday."

Justus Parker with some more lockdown coverage and a pass deflection forcing a 4th down, he should for sure be in the NFL in 2 years. I hope he can keep playing nickel instead of moving him to safety, I’m interested to know his 40 time bc he’s a big guy at 6’0” 210lbs but I feel like he runs in the 4.4 range because he is also one of Tech’s kick returners.

Not sure if Lewerke is injured for MSU or not, but Freshman dual-threat QB Rocky Lombardi (great name) got the start today. Here's a good stiff arm from him.

Groshek (Wisc) with 47 yards rushing at the half.....Taylor may be dinged up
Carney had a few nice carries for Wake, but is playing second fiddle
Dudek had one carry for five yards for Yale, but nothing since...Still dinged up...
I watched Andy Davidson take a few carries for Army...After almost rushing for 1000 yards as a sophomore, he’s been 3rd string since.....???
Army is playing Eastern Mich...Ian Eriksen hasn’t played in weeks...Apparently hurt.

3:30 Iowa vs Penn St
6:30 Cal is on TV.....Watch it guys, Laird is going to tear it up again.......

Clemson TE moved to Fullback Garrett Williams 2 yard TD run..team very happy for him; big Wilkins gives him bear hug

True Freshman QB Trevor Lawrence has a Throwing Velocity of 61mph...already faster than NFL QB's Wentz & Mahomes at 57 mph

Some posters diagreed in the past...but Hunter Renfrow should be on a NFL Roster next season. Always the underdog; always proved the haters Wrong!

Utah LB Sean Barton had an INT last night

3rd quarter UMASS only has 3 completions and they’re all to Andy Isabella for 62 yards and a TD. EMU’s Matthew Sexton with a touchdown and Iowa State has a white TE Kolar score one

Groshek looks like a player getting his reps thanks to the fumble prone real athlete

Clemson rocketed out to a fast start against NC State last week en route to a blowout win. But it has been a much slower beginning against Florida State. Some of that is due to the Seminoles' defensive front, among the toughest this team has faced. But the run game has been nonexistent and the passing game inconsistent. It hasn't come as easily.

Clemson 45 FSU 0, late 3rd Qtr

Trevor Lawrence 20/37 314 yards 4TD 0INT

She just can't let it go that Bryant was replaced by Lawrence and then left the team on his own accord.

EDIT: Lawrence's 4th TD pass of the game

I see a White safety, MLB and defensive end playing for Clemson......along with freshman phenom Trevor Lawrence and proven ‘Bama slayer Hunter Renfrow on offense. At this point, with Wisconsin and Stanford looking to be out of the NC hunt, I think this is my team to root for the rest of the season......

northwinds, you might want to check out Iowa.

midway through the first quarter in the Iowa game, Penn State qb Trace McSorley has already had two perfect passes dropped by those dynamic, electrifying affletes. in fairness, the conditions are VERY slippery, as seen by the three fumbles in the game already, one of which resulted in a Penn State safety when the punter flubbed the snap.

Hockenson is showing out! just leapt over a would-be tackler. Griese, providing the color commentary, has been all praise for the White Iowa tight end.

and now an Iowa upsider drops a perfectly thrown ball.

Noles being penalized on every drive, pathetic. 14 penalties into 4th quarter...
3-59 before I switched to Iowa game

Taggart is any good? No way.
