Thanks to 22 for the week 4 wrap up.

This looks to be a big weekend.

Tonight Princeton will be on ESPNU at 6:00PMEST. I will miss most if not all of it but worth a look as stud WR Jesper Horsted will be the featured WR. The NFL has finally taken notice of Horsted although due to his size some are muttering the word TE.

Might as well talk about WRs after last night's NFL game. At 9:00 tonight UCLA takes on Colorado. Try to catch the very beginning when that Buffalo tears across the field. What a wild sight.

UCLA has two true freshman WRs who should see the field at time. Kyle Philips is a speedy slot who hasn't broken through yet. And Chase Cota who has a ready made NLF body type to go along with impressive athletic ability is a player to monitor the next few seasons.

As mentioned in prior posts Colorado LB Nate Landman has been wrecking havoc so far this season. Jay MacINTYRE is a quick small WR who is the coach's son.

Two huge games Saturday night and wouldn't you know they are on at the same time. Ohio State travels to Penn State and Notre Dame hosts Stanford. These games probably have playoff implications.

Also former walk on NC State WR Thayer Thomas has been cleared to play against Virginia. Good to hear that.

David Sills is currently the highest rated white WR for the 2019 draft. He is very important. I see shades of Ed McCaffrey and Joe Jurevicus in Sills.

Here is hoping for a breakout weekend. The past two weeks have been a bit of a downer especially for white WRs. Thielen and Kupp are proving how good they are but we need more white WRs to emerge and it starts at the college level.

This season there seems to be a lot more white receivers than in the last seasons, the unfortunate thing that has been frustrating to me is that they’re all putting up average stats at this point. I’m hoping this week can be a big week for our guys, I have this hope every week but I think this has potential to be a good one. Also a note on Max Borghi, I have not been able to see him play yet but from the few highlights I’ve seen he needs to get a lot more snaps. You can also tell just by looking at his stats, 4 TD’s in 4 games as a lightly used backup?? He only has 18 carries but he should be getting that many each game

Borghi is very under used.....
As is Beau Bisharat......He had one carry tonight on the first drive, them nothing else..
It sickens me that he’s rotting on the bench.....

Zane Dudek not starting. Banged up.....I guess that’s why he only had 30 yards on 10 carries last week. After a 200 yard first game, this sucks.....

No running back games on tv early...,,Paying attention to WVU....
Sills very quiet in the first half.....Grier looks very good...They must be doubling Sills, his teammate is killing it.....

Pulling for Trevor Lawrence at Clemson against Syracuse........they are down 16-7 at the half. He was promoted to starter this week and blackbKelly Bryant immediately transferred. The black commentator on ‘Game Day’ was, of course, talking about what effect this may have on the ‘locker room’ and how Coach Sweeney should have taken this into consideration. Hoping the black players aren’t laying down on him. He has 98 yards and 0 TDs 0 picks so far

LOL Texas Tech dreadlocked quota wit dat INT
Looks like Bowman got injured when he took a big hit in the 2nd quarter. I’m not a fan of Duffey at all and I’ve been wanting the coaching staff to move him to RB or Slot. Also a note from Michigan State, WR Brandon Sowards is 2-29 at halftime, good to see him getting looks early in the game.

He got injured on the first or 2nd drive of the season against Ole Miss with a high ankle sprain and he hasn’t played since. When he’s healthy again I still expect Bowman to be the QB but he may be on a shorter leash.

Brady Borodine 5-19 for NC State
Nate Cottrell 5-46-1 for GT

They haven’t had many touches this year, I’ll keep an eye on the second half of those games....

Cade Carney is worth watching. Wake plays at 3:30 vs Rice.....
CC should have a good game. It’s on directv where I live.

Air Force is on ESPN at 4:00 vs Nevada........Worh watching also.

Clemson WR Hunter Renfrow just made a great athletic grab.

Here's BSPN female (not that it matters in this case, since it's BSPN) "Analyst" "logic":

The worst-case scenario happened to Clemson in the second quarter against Syracuse. Starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence left the game with a head injury and now, with no Kelly Bryant, Chase Brice has to lead the Tigers back from a 16-7 halftime deficit. Coach Dabo Swinney is going to take some heat for his decision to go with Lawrence, because it led to Bryant's decision to transfer.

Swinney is responsible for Bryant's decision to transfer? He forced him to transfer or did Bryant make a rash emotional decision himself because he was demoted?

Then the BSPN "Analyst" follows up with:

With Trevor Lawrence out, backup Chase Brice has been completely ineffective and the Tigers offense is hamstrung. It has not helped matters that the offensive line has struggled to block.

Which is not really true if she's really watching the game. He's executing the offense pretty well, actually. He's had a couple of passes dropped by affletes, but, of course, she won't mention that. If Brice was black and the WRs White, she'd be saying that the WRs need to step up and help out the new QB.

Well there you go........black receivers dropping balls and sumos missing blocks........this was sadly predictable.........

He just led them on a TD drive and completed a couple of nice throws along the way. Geez, it's his first time playing significant snaps!

New RB to watch, Boston College’s Ben Glines plays both WR and RB but it looks like now he is the backup to AJ Dillon. He’s 14-72 right now and he had a nice touchdown catch at WR against Wake Forest a couple weeks ago. He’s 6’2” 220 so he has great size for both positions.

Another nice TD drive executed by Clemson redshirt freshman backup QB Chase Brice who had a big 4th down completion and a 10+ yard rush to help reclaim the lead and seal the victory for Clemson. That BSPN "Analyst" can go sit in the corner eat some crow now.

BSPN announcers now clamoring for Swinney to get Bryant to return to the team.
