Thanks to 22 for the week 4 wrap up.
This looks to be a big weekend.
Tonight Princeton will be on ESPNU at 6:00PMEST. I will miss most if not all of it but worth a look as stud WR Jesper Horsted will be the featured WR. The NFL has finally taken notice of Horsted although due to his size some are muttering the word TE.
Might as well talk about WRs after last night's NFL game. At 9:00 tonight UCLA takes on Colorado. Try to catch the very beginning when that Buffalo tears across the field. What a wild sight.
UCLA has two true freshman WRs who should see the field at time. Kyle Philips is a speedy slot who hasn't broken through yet. And Chase Cota who has a ready made NLF body type to go along with impressive athletic ability is a player to monitor the next few seasons.
As mentioned in prior posts Colorado LB Nate Landman has been wrecking havoc so far this season. Jay MacINTYRE is a quick small WR who is the coach's son.
Two huge games Saturday night and wouldn't you know they are on at the same time. Ohio State travels to Penn State and Notre Dame hosts Stanford. These games probably have playoff implications.
Also former walk on NC State WR Thayer Thomas has been cleared to play against Virginia. Good to hear that.
David Sills is currently the highest rated white WR for the 2019 draft. He is very important. I see shades of Ed McCaffrey and Joe Jurevicus in Sills.
Here is hoping for a breakout weekend. The past two weeks have been a bit of a downer especially for white WRs. Thielen and Kupp are proving how good they are but we need more white WRs to emerge and it starts at the college level.
