Ohio St. With Coal Plow OL...
I'd expect nothing less from the cuck urban
Does Northwestern have a white rb?
dumb play call by Pennss coaching staff
Andy Isabella deservingly got a ton of attention but for the other side, Ohio quarterback Nathan Rourke had quite a day. Threw for 270 yards and 3 touchdowns (did have 1 interception) and ran for an additional 189 yards and a score! He must be a fantastic athlete.I actually didn’t even know 60 meters was a track event but being the fastest in that event in the nation should obviously translate to a 40 yard dash. I hope Isabella gets invited to the combine (it would be a disgrace if he didn’t, he had over 800 yards as a sophomore and over 1000 as a junior playing a new position as he was a RB in high school and his first year at UMASS). If he gets invited and runs a sub 4.4 40 I’m hoping he can be picked in round 3, he’s a special talent and even reminds me a little of Antonio Brown with how he’s able to do everything from the slot and help in the return game too. That’s some high praise but he really is a talented player, I’m sure he could start at one of the top programs in the nation if he was given the chance. He finished today’s game with a 12-193-3 stat line!
Justus Parker started and played most of the game again but once again did not record any meaningful stats, however he covered Sills very well whenever they put him in the slot. Also a note from SMU - WR Tyler Page got his first action and went 3-102-1 with a 92 yard TD!!Still not satisfied despite some brighter spots. Andy Isabella see above needs to get invited to the NFL Combine. Then he can show off to the world his speed etc. But that is a big question mark although it shouldn't be especially if he continues his torrid pace.
And there were some impressive WR numbers as mentioned above. Mainly by MAC players.
WR Bailey Gaither had a 2-97-1 stat line.
But our top NFL hopefuls were largely missing. I watched the West Virginia game and Sills was not targeted much. Cody Thompson caught one pass and McLane Mannix caught two.
I am done with pre game monologues. Jinx deluxe. On Friday night I figured I would preview a few games and they all turned out to be duds. WR Jesper Horsted who had been unstoppable only caught two passes. UCLA WR Chase Cota as far as I know never saw the field. Kyle Philips caught two short passes but had a nifty punt return.
Speaking of punt returns Utah's Britain Covey had two long plays called back. In that game they mentioned RB Max Borghi uses the same trainer as CM.
Watching Air Force I don't think they have a white CB. Fejedelem who had a ton of tackles played safety as far as I could tell and the "white" looking from afar CB #4 is actually mixed. I think his name is Bugg.
As mentioned TT's Justus Parker who I don't think started (?) played some CB and Kansas State's Johnny Durham was covering the slot at times in the Kansas State- Texas game. Slim pickings to say the least.
The Clemson situation got real sticky and this can happen when the 2nd string QB waves goodbye. Hunter Renfrow made yet another spectacular catch and Clemson squeaked by to win. To me the best part was they did not yank S Tanner Muse like they did in the A&M game. It was only fitting he made the final tackle of the game. They need him out there.
Wake has an emerging white S named Luke Masterson and nice to hear BC has a budding white offensive player in Glines.
I suspect Auburn will redshirt Will Hastings? Will find out this week.
I was one of the few who was not overly delighted when Nebraska chose Scott Frost. And I am not going to throw him overboard because his recruiting looks fairly promising. But the culture of Nebraska football should mirror the culture of hard working farmers. That means DEFENSE. All the cute Florida spread offense stuff doesn't represent what Nebraska used to be which was a defense that would swallow teams whole and spit them out.
ND- Stanford was close for a while but ND pulled away behind there shiny poised new QB Book. And that WR Finke made a few nice plays too. Bryce Love is injury prone and doesn't have the size or durability to make a huge splash in the NFL.
Speaking of defense some of these heavily laden black defenses are so bad you can't even chart it. Look at Oregon State. Now Michigan's Chase Winovich is a real defensive player. He better be a high draft pick.
I will finish with the big game last night. And because I am discussing defense I was actually rooting for Ohio State. For sure Tracy McSorley put on a great athletic display but Penn State has made a clear choice to weed out white defenders and skill players. And everyone here knows my feelings about teams that don't play white defenders.
They play a white LB at times and a white tackle at times but their D is essentially black. Whereas Ohio State couldn't stop McSorley's draw plays Penn State looked foolish against the screen passes in the second half. Missed tackles and a general lack of toughness and focus is what beat them last night. There were all these so called 5 star athletic black studs on Penn State's D and they were rendered helpless on simple screens. Falling all over themselves.
At least Ohio State has some substantial white presence on D even without their star DE Bosa. MLB Tuf Borland is just that. A tough rugged old school LB who can stuff the run. And rangy Pete Werner played his best game yet getting involved in key plays. Both of these linebackers are only sophomores. Werner played nearly every snap which is quite unusual but it just goes to show they have a lot of confidence in him.
I want the fans at Penn State to eat it good as their HC has decided to ultra caste up his team especially his defense. I don't want to see a coach rewarded by going full scale caste.
And yes that last call will go down in infamy as a horrible play call. You have to have McSorley have the ball either to pass or run it on that 4th down.
