I can't believe what Ramil acheved. It has to be the the first gold medal for a white sprint champion in an olympics or world champs since Kosta Kenteris of Greece back in 2000. He had allegations thrown his way later on but I won't get into that. We need to pull up some track champs history. I would guess before that it would be Valery Borzov back in 1980 with the double gold medal at the olympics over 100 & 200 meters. Allan Wells? Others? We need some history here.

It is an incredible acheivment. In my opinion this jumps above what Lemaitre has done. Even though Christophe has been on the medal stand at the world champs & olympics, it was never a gold medal. Simply incredible acheivment by Ramil Guliyev. I'm so happy right now. I just wish Ramils father could have lived to have seen what his son accomplished today! I'm sure he saw it from up above though. Congrat Ramil. You are a true champion on and off the track!

if anyone saw Schippers semi final I hope you saw what I saw, burned the corner to 120-130 was ahead by 6-8m, eased off a bit and shut it down at 185-190m, she won easily. Lots more in the tank for her. Hope she joins Guliyev as 200m World Champ. The final will be a burner!

Wow! What a great race by Guliyev! Had the pleasure of watching it with family who otherwise weren't too familiar with athletics, seeing the only white guy in the heat win the whole thing was a funny shock to see, though all of us here knew Guliyev had a chance as good as anyone to win it.

Looks like skipping the 100m paid off for Guliyev. Absolute shame Lemaitre couldn't sneak in the final, I think he actually would have performed decently well. For as much of a head case he is, he does show up at the right time.

alot of skeptics who said it couldn't be done. Schippers does this year after year. Simply phenomenal how big a star she
is and she passes all the tests so she isn't cheating like so many others. Im hoping that someday Gina Lueckemper can be
as good as her or at least close.

I was very happy to see the american women go 1/2 in the 3000 meter steeplechase. I also want to say that it was
a joy to see D. Klishina "the ballerina" win the silver medal in the long jump. Long overdue. She is so fine!

Since this is a family oriented website (?) there is no need for me to go into detail about the EXTRA pleasure in watching cute young ladies compete in events like the long jump, pole vault and high jump. And if you don't know what I'm talking about compare those events to running events and it should become pretty clear pretty quick. Klishina is a good looking young lady. congrats to Schippers she ran the crap out of that race in falling rain and dropping temps. Gotta say Ta Lou and Miller made it a very close race. Love the expression on the American gal (at the finish) who beat all the Kenyans and Ethiopians to place second to Coburn who showed the world who was best tonight. Great to see two white women work as a team to the detriment of the Kenyans.

These championships have been great. Many pleasant surprises, but that 3000m steeplechase race takes the top spot. The total destruction of the Kenyans by a couple of blond Americans was a sight to behold. I watched the last lap 5 times already!

So what has happened to the Yamaicans and Kenyans? Ran out of juice? Afraid to test in London? It's been great to watch.

Schippers, Guliev, Bosse, Warholm, Coburn, Frerichs, Jager, Simpson, Shubenkov, Klishina, all the infield events, so many white medal winners.

More to come in the next 2 days, we have a potential decathlon sweep in the works, Sally Pierson with a great chance to medal, high jump, medal chances in the men's 1500m. And if it weren't for those disgusting she-males running the women's 800m, we could easily have at least two white women win medals there also.

I guess negros feel entitled on youtube as well lol Well all these racist remarks I have read just reinforces how truly afraid and threatened racially they are by superior white athletes. Great Britain beat the US in the 4x100m Men's relay, with Adam Gemili and Danny Talbot running the 2nd and 3rd legs.
Japan took 3rd with a completely Japanese team ethnically.
It's amazing that the US Men's team fails year after year after year. Of course I don't care. It just goes to show that good teamwork, passing, and skill can beat raw speed talent.

In my opinion Sally Pearson is one of the top 2 or 3 womens hurdlers ever. What an athete she
is and despite being on top for so many years she still gets just as excited as a teenager to win. The
fire and passion she has for athletics is what more Australians need. Not to mention what more of
our men and women need. She lives for the sport. I love it! Congrats yet again to Sally Pearson!
