It wasn't long ago Bruno Hortelano had an accident which nearly took his hand.

Richard Kilty started off his indoor season with a win today in a fast time of 6.57! Another
white sprinter from South Africa, took 2nd place. Here is the video.

So happy for Hannah. She is world class without a doubt. She has proved it ever since she was a kid. Many young sprinters
never go on to success at the adult level. She has been outstanding at all levels. I look forward to hopefully seeing her on the olympic medal stand some day in the near future.

This gives Carly the #3 time in the world so far this season.

Andrew Robertson of Great Britain ran 6.60 over the weekend, beating Dwain Chambers who ran 6.67.
That's about the same margin that Lemaitre had over Chambers in their recent race.

How can he increase top end speed with those short legs?
His turnover is pretty much set, his speed endurance is possibly about its peak - only leaves power.
Tough for little guys anything over 60m.

according to this there's an indoor meet featuring Lemaitre and Kim Collins in about 8 hours time. Collins is a good guy to draw conclusions about how Lemaitre is going early

Lemaitre didn't run in that Dusseldorf meet.

Scotland has a great history of sprinters.
In fact, considering the small size of their country (6 million), I would say that Scotland produces more top white sprinters than any other nation on a relative basis.

Kristoffer Hari opened up his indoor season running a 6.69 today. I don't know if he is going to run anymore indoors
as he doesn't like to run over 60 meters. He is 19 years of age now. Hoping for a return to form for him this summer. Many
people have forgotten about this very talented young sprinter. I feel he will have a nice year. Would like to see him get down to the sub 10.10 range within the next few years. Asking for alot but I think he is capable!

Kyle De Escofet is becoming someone to watch. He ran 6.59 today. We will see how that translates

Andrew Pozzi of Great Britain ran a world leading 7.44 60m Hurdles in a dominating win in Germany today.

He beats Ortega from Cuba who was the silver medalist at the Rio Olympics.
Pozzi was a very promising junior in 2011 and 2012, but has had injury problems every season.
But maybe this season, we'll finally see what he is capable of.

Tony Jarrett, Brit all -time number 2 (2 x 7.42) may be catchable this season. Colin Jackson with 26 faster times down to 7.30 (WR) will take a little longer to mow down

Karsten Warholm a 20 yr old 400m and decathlete from Norway, ran a 45.96 400m over the weekend.
It's a national record, plus the leading European time so far this year, and the 2nd fastest time in the world this season.

Andrew Pozzi of Great Britain ran a world leading 7.44 60m Hurdles in a dominating win in Germany today.

here's his PR 100H run ever from Diamond League last year - with good comments by the commentator and Colin Jackson.
He certainly starts well for a man over 6'3"

Andy Robertson won the British Indoor Championships in the 60m with a very nice time of 6.57
Kyle DeEscofet came fourth with 6.65. Kilty ran 6.62 in the semis, but his name wasn't listed in the results of the finals.
Andy Pozzi won the hurdles. In the semis he ran 7.44, which equals his world leading time of last week.
