I'll keep the forum updated when I see some form - but apart from 16 year old Riley Day and Ella Nelson (I haven't heard her mentioned yet this season) I have no high expectations.
Jack Hale is inconsistent and very small. He seems to be the same size as when he was 15/16 and has great turnover but needs power. Can he get it? I don't know.
New Zealander James Millar is better than any Aussies at this stage. So I'll certainly include him.
Haven't heard hide nor hair of 10.15 sprinter Joshua Clarke who got injured a year ago and had't improved enough to take his place at the Olympics 6 months later. Maybe he's going to be continually injured.
Melissa Breen is nothing - feuding again with Aths Aust who she feels doesn't appreciate her (I'm on their side - 11.76 in Rio was a joke). She has the snots that they didn't want her in the Nitro Athletics squad just passed. Which is great - it gave the chance for youngster Riley Day to beat them all over 150 on Saturday..
My son-in-law and I WILL be going to the Sydney Track Classic on 25th of this month and since it is a part of the 3 day NSW T&F 2017 championships I may get a 3 day pass. I'll keep my eyes and ears open and report back.
Aust Champs are 4-5 weeks later on the same Sydney track. I'll be at those too and there should be some form showing by then.
