Week 3 kicks off with an enjoyable game for the most part with the 49ers and Rams facing each other.

I am pulling for the Rams and I hope Kupp continues to be targeted heaviley. Goff has improved thus far and let's hope he continues to show signs of improvement tonight.

On a side note - Thursday Night Football is another thorn in the side of the NFL along with all of the fake activism tacking place. I personally wish that they would get rid of Thursday Night football.

Let's hope Connor Barwin continues to hold it down on the defensive side! Matt Longacre should make some plays at LB. Safety Cody Davis hopefully makes some noise.

I know I know I know the NFL is not suddenly awash in white skill players. Still going into the season there was more hope than usual here at caste that steps, albeit small, were going forward on that front. In the 1990's and 2000's there were very few white WR's and the black players had NO ISSUES with political matters back then. I find it more than just coincidental that given the small but significant increase in white WR's, as an example, that black players have decided NOW is the time to create mayhem. Sure that might not be the main reason behind their lame protests but I think venom against white skill players does play a role in this whole charade.
Even so I love to see the NFL squirm. See below.

Lots and lots of empty seats at the 49ers' new stadium. Kupp looks to be playing only half the snaps so far, don't think he's even been thrown to. Maybe he was progressing too quickly and needs to be put back in his place a bit. Trent Taylor also playing very little.

Crissie really picking on Brian Hoyer in this game. By contrast, he's already called second year player Deforest Buckner a "superstar."

Morgan Fox with the nice sack. Pretty cool that the UDFA is already getting meaningful snaps.

Cooper Kupp with the 1st Down catch...Collinsworth said "very Julian Edelman-isk".

Not much of a fan of Collinsworth..but he was Spot-on in the Season Opener when he said Julian Edelman is the "Heart n Soul" of the Patriots.

Thought Cody Davis would be a Starter this season

Impressive to see LT Andrew Whitworth 6'-7" 333 (will be 36 in Dec.) still playing at such a High level! ...dominating Rookie Solomon Thomas

Listened to some of the first half on the radio. The announcers without even outright saying it seemed to imply Goff was looking for Kupp as a first read when he's in there. A good sign.

Those announcers are watching a different game than me. I'm watching Kupp on every play and Goff has looked his way only three times so far even though he's been open a lot.

Goff with another TD, a gutsy throw on 3rd down. Hoping Kupp can be more involved though.

Turned it off after the black power fist went up. Done with this ****.

Cody Davis put a shot on Trent Taylor near the 1....but he's tough as Nails with chunk of dirt/grass stuck in his helmet ; got right back up. Collinsworth impressed having fun watching him.

Celek TD

That's the thing about listening and not being able to watch. I'm trusting their commentary and it can certainly be inaccurate.
I'm hoping the Rams can hold on and not let this one slip away at San FranSissyCo.

Great catch and run by Trent Taylor , would've scored but for the big hit by Cody Davis. Hate to see the friendly fire...[/QUOTE
Good point, but it's always a good thing when two of our guys are both making a great play in the same highlight, albeit opposing teams. Even the dwf can't ignore that!

Enough pale faces on the Rams for me to pay attention. Looks like this is a Goff, Gurley and Watkins night. Kupp will get his touches in the games ahead.

If the NFL is worried about its rating slump they should have these games on national television.

I am shocked that Kupp is not being used that much, considering his route running ability and great hands. I thought perhaps he was hurt on a play, and out seeing how few targets he is getting. Some of the great news is the ability Goff is showing, he gets only half the praise that a ultimate upside black QB would be getting with those numbers.

I cant see the game but appreciate the updates from those able to watch it.

Just heard that the Rams have the 2nd most points in team history through 3 games. 2nd only to Greatest Show on Turf in the the 2000 season. This could be interesting...
