9 of the league's 32 starting quarterbacks for this week are black quarterbacks - including Samoan/Hawaiian Mariota. Their average stat line:
19/33 (57%), 192 passing yards (5.8 yards per attempt), 0.67 touchdowns, 0.88 turnovers.

If you average that out over a season, for the 2016 season the average black quarterback from this week would've been 29th for completion percentage, 25th for passing yards, 31st for yards per attempt, 30th for TDs, and 9th for turnovers. Real high quality of black quarterback starters we have in this league...their teams averaged under 15 points each too, and that's inflated by Mariota putting up 37 on the shitty Jags.

Hopefully next season Darnold, Rosen, Allen, Fitzgerald, Rudolph, Falk, Mayfield, Ferguson, and/or Stidham are able to come in and replace some of these bums. But, of course, no matter how badly some guys like Wilson, Newton, Prescott, Winston and Taylor play their GMs will see no reason to ever replace them until they're 35+.

Evidently the Packers organization has never recovered from the CF expose "The Whitest Team Wins The Superbowl" and Rachel Madcow talked about it on her show. The Packers just can't bring themselves to play white wide receivers and tight ends, even if it means they never win another Superbowl. They could be another New England, but they just don't want to appear "racist". Well at least the defense is getting better.

It was great to see the Green Bay "Blackers" lose last night. Without Jordy, this offense is nothing. Jeff Janis, for whatever insane reason, is not viewed as a viable WR and is relegated exclusively to special teams. Jordy (quad) and Cobb (shoulder) both exited the game and he still didn't get a single offensive snap. They got what they deserved.

Aside from Gronk and Kelce having 100-yard games and Ertz and Witten having 97 yards each, it was a dismal week. As usual, Gronk is already injured and given his history of ultra-slow healing, this groin injury (which has been called "minor") could cost him a game. He was seen on a stationary bike, which is a good sign. I think Hogan and Burkhead will both be fine.

Thankfully, many of the other injuries sustained by white players were not season-ending. I think Olsen will be back in the second half of the season and honestly, judging by how pathetic Cam Newton's passing skills have become, I doubt Olsen would've had a chance at his 4th straight 1,000 yard campaign anyway. As others have noted, it could end up helping McCaffrey finally obtain a larger role in the offense.

Was this the most pathetic attempt at a INT in the entire history of the black athlete?

Was Bennett giving the "Black Power Fist" after the sack...or was he signaling 4th down? Given his posture and the fact that it was his right arm, I assume it was the former. If he did this on first or second down, then it was most certainly a pro-BLM "celebration." I can't say for sure because I wasn't watching the game...

Out-of-work quarterback Colin Kaepernick generally is credited with starting the trend of kneeling or sitting during the national anthem in protest of police treatment of black citizens in the US.

Kaepernick’s movement, which many believe has cost him a job, has grown this season, with offshoots of the protest forming, including players showing solidarity by putting their hands on each other’s backs during the anthem.

Bennett’s raised fist, however, is the first instance of a player seeming to protest during a game.

Bennett being so popular in the People's Republic of Seattle is telling. My two cents on week 2 which wasn't nearly as good as week 1. It is called lowered expectations but at this point we have to be thankful that Janis is still playing. I remember the 1997 Super Bowl the Pack won and Desmond Howard was the return hero. During that season Don Beebe was returning kicks and spent a decent amount of time as a WR catching 39 passes for 699 yards. Another speedster was on that team too, RB Travis Jervey. But in the playoffs and Super Bowl Beebe was nearly invisible and Jervey only blocked on the special teams. So for Janis, a good all around special teams player, it isn't much but at least he is a KR. Better than being out of the league or just being used as a blocker. But of course given the state of the white WR in the NFL it is very frustrating for all here a player like Janis with a great athletic profile can't get playing time. It stings like a bitch.
As for CM I said at the time I was happy he landed in Carolina and still think it is a good place for him. But with key cog Olsen shelved for at least half the season the questions about Cam Newton are mounting. Everyone knows he is a clumsy ox who has little feel for the more inticate things necessary to be a great QB. He might be injured as well. As for CM I see a player in it for the long haul and I have said this many times he might not but could become a superstar but he will be a star and an extremely popular player. On the TD last week he threw a key block that allowed Stewart to score. CM reminds me of Edelman. A rough and tumble team player. As for Newton, Carolina should start thinking about drafting a QB in the upcoming draft. I don't dislike Newton personally but have said many times here he is an average QB at best. That defense has kept him alive and well for a long while. And his skills don't mesh that well with a player like CM but it is still early and one would hope these kinks get worked out. I think Carolina is basing their future on CM so if Newton continues to bumble about aimlessly don't be surprised if Carolina replaces him in a year or two.
As if we couldn't stand Seattle enough back when see above I mean give us a break.
Like Don and others I am concerned for WR Thielen without Bradford throwing the ball to him.
The Cowboys might want to tweek things already which means a four WR scheme with two slots which means Switzer to go along with Beasley. Denver stacked the line against Dallas so three yards and cloud of dust will only take them so far.
Travis Kelce, the best TE in the NFL, is a stud but we all knew that. And nice to see WR Chris Hogan get a bit on track. And of course the Pack look like crap everytime Jordy is missing. I don't think it is a serious injury.

Janis continues to rot away on GBs bench, while upsiders Davis and Allison receive his reps(Black Privilege ).. GB offense deserves to keep sputtering while they ignore one of the most athletic WRs in the game. As for their defense happy to see Lowry and near snow patrol at LB, but their all black secondary continues to be the teams Achilles heel. Darkening OL continues to be an issue. It's early in the season but I'm really pessimistic about this year's squad. To me it looks like same ol overachieving GB squad that is lucky they have Rodgers. With an average QB they'd be 8-8 or worse.

At least the Broncos presented the template on beating the Cowboys (Wolfe and Gostis were both key in shutting down the Cowboys run game) forcing Prescott to throw the ball. His deficiencies with passing were evident as he relies on short passes to move the ball downfield. Prescott is a game manager, a good one but a game manager nonetheless.

The Cowboys front 4 is also a weak spot - the Broncos beat the Cowboys essentially the same way the Cowboys beat everyone last year. Hopefully teams will take notice but in the know nothing NFL the obvious is never a given.

Jags signed Ryan Nassib. Bortles days are numbered in Jacksonville - id like to know how many dropped balls the jags dropped yesterday.

I am not sold on Prescott and at times last year down the stretch he seemed very limited. Sure he executed the simple game plan he was handed but if people think Alex Smith is a game manager then Prescott is the deluxe version. He is one of the least exciting QB's to watch. Carson Wentz he is not. That said I am rooting for the Cowboys. They have a certifiable stud LB in Sean Lee and a blossoming S in Jeff Heath who has played extremely well. On O there is Cole Beasley and waiting in the wings is Ryan Switzer, who right now is their return man. So all in all the Cowboys are one of the least assembled caste teams. I am pissed at the Broncos for shelving WR Jordan Taylor.

This is another reason the NFL is losing popularity. Why should fans remain loyal to teams when the teams aren't loyal to them?
