This is both good news and bad news. Good because CM may have moved himself into the mid-first round. Bad of course because he may end up going to a heavy black majority team. As long as he remained a late first rounder, the GB/NE option was still there.

OK day one and all eyes here are on gee I wonder who? The second run where CM ran a 4.59 is mainly incidental. Luke Kuechly had a slow second run. Why they run twice is a mystery to me. Mental stuff starts creeping in and guys usually run a slower second. They don't run twice in track and field. But you take the fastest time which they should and yes they showed the simulcast of Fournette, Cook, Kamara with CM and CM is clearly faster . His 10 yard split displayed devastating quickness. As mentioned above the numbers are top. 4.48 40, 37 and a half vertical and 10.1 broad jump. Pretty much tested better than the other three top guys. While it does not bother me, a few teams might switch him to the slot or a variation of that. To me he is a jack of all trades and will be doing all sorts of different things on the football field including returning kicks. Just want to see the dude perform on the field. To me he is a cinch first rounder and you can't go wrong drafting him. He is smart ( knew enough to stay away from the injury waiting to happen artificial turf of the Sun Bowl) with great character and his dad will be guiding him every step of the way. He is in good hands.
Saturday is a huge day. 5 WR's and QB's . The key for the WR's is the 40 yard dash. Lets hope they come up big!!

The bench press and even the vertical leap are meaningless for running backs lets get real here. The vertical can come into play for wide receivers though. That said even though Fournette can't jump to me the problem is he is too heavy and could get fat. The early buzz coming out of day one is CM climbing up the draft board. Like a rocket. As trackster mentioned above his hands and cutting in the drills were spectacular. Scouts were aghast at how he smoothly integrated everything without slowing down. I was watching some clips. Now it is no longer a question of if he would be drafted in the first round it is a question now of how high. Is top ten out of the question?

Just wanna say it's great seeing this thread come alive with some forum members that aren't as active as some of us other ones are. Seeing you guys get involved and supportive of CM gives me encouragement after being so discouraged.

Whoa! Word has now come out that Christian ran a 6.57 in the "three-cone drill." Apparently, that's the second fastest time run in the past thirteen years!! But who of us didn't know he was the quickest player side-to-side they've ever seen?

Also, after the other rbs left, Christian did the WR drills and apparently dominated them, too. Scouts are tweeting about this. Word is now that he killed it at the combine today.

Fournette is built like a squatty fullback and is probably 20 pounds over his ideal strength to weight ratio. Make Fournette a Cajun and even with his 4.5X you would have commentators like Dick Vermeil stating he would still love him better as a blocking back rather than a running back.

As for McCafferey he is the complete package he is probably the best back regardless of color since Marcus Allen in all around ability.

Marshall Faulk gave Christian McCaffrey the ultimate compliment...saying it's been a long time since he's seen drills where the RB " eyes & feet are connected like that"...no wasted motion/body control/ artistry.......he's drawing rave reviews & really helping himself ....4.48 speed + agility; vision; balance & explosiveness (Broad Jump 10'-3) Packers, Patriots, Eagles & Chiefs are mentioned

Fournette showed up heavy...but he's not slow...his Vertical Jump was very disappointing

Forrest Lamp is the Top O-Lineman ..... Garrett Bolles(Best Broad Jump the last 10 years?) is probably the nastiest O-Lineman in the Draft...mean/plays after the whistle...Ryan Ramczyk solidified his 1st Round position....Dan Feeney will be a Starter Day 1.....Ethan Pocic should be a 10 year Pro w his versatility

The first 10 yards is where Christian kills the competition. This shows his explosive talent and should correlate with success. We all know, but I'll say it anyway, that in football the 1st 10 yards is exponentially more important than speed at yards 20 to 40.

There is another video on NFL.com showing the "all Stanford matchup" of McCaffery vs Richard Sherman. Apparently they had a poll beforehand asking who would win their superimposed race. 100% of DWF cucked nation picked Sherman. The video continues and Christian smokes the black supaman. Really shows what we are still up against.

Local media is pushing McCaffery as a possible receiver. I guess that's an improvement over wanting talented white running backs to become fullbacks.

I saw some clips of CM's combine runs. Everyone knows a RB that runs through tacklers can't last long in a league full of roided headcases. The dodgier the runner the better his team, better his career, and better investment for the team. CM's cuts and power take offs are spectacular. He's just doing what he did the past two years of college. CM is the class of the show.

That's Castespeak for "it's ok for whites to play receiver again". RB is likely still off limits.

Another future Alabama LB bust - undersized yet still being touted as a top 10 pick. Just goes to show how dumb these affletes are - who the hell would argue with a hospital worker in the situation he is in.

ESPN's Adams Schefter report Alabama LB Reuben Foster is being sent home from the NFL Combine following a "heated argument with a hospital worker."

Foster was scheduled to workout on Sunday and meet with teams over the next two days, but that has obviously changed. A hospital worker likely has a part in the Combine medicals, a process every prospect goes through. Just when you think you've heard every pre-draft story, a new one pops up. Foster is widely viewed as the top prospect at his position and a top 10 selection. He measured in at 6-feet and 229-pounds.

40 yard dash day 2

Chad Hansen : 4.54 ---4.57
Cooper Kupp : 4.62 ---4.66

Decent times, about what I expected! Both have the film and production to be drafted no later than 3rd rd! Trevor Knight also ran a 4.54 as a QB!!

Kupp will probably suffer because they put way to much stock into 40 times for white athletes. I think he received enough positive attention during the season to not get the Mike Hass treatment though.

Over all a very good combine for Mccaffrey. I wish he had run a tad faster but 4.48 is good. Of course they are saying he may not be an every down back. Some of the offensive linemen were really good too.

Remember 2016 1st round pick (23rd overall) Laquan Treadwell who decided not to run at the combine and then pulled off a blazing 4.65 at his Pro Day. Should Cooper run a good 40 at his Pro Day and individual team workouts he should be in a decent position to back up his on field and Senior Bowl production. Perhaps a middle round (3-5) draft pick.

Mayock was just saying that he saw nothing wrong with kaaya overthrowing wrs during drills on three straight throws.

Kizer is not a 1st rounder. Beathard threw well in drills as did Knight. I would love to see Knight drafted and converted to DB.

I still think Kupp is a 2nd rounder. His dominance speaks for itself. The NFL won't agree though.

Kizer underthrows everything - the ball just floats. He's a bust waiting to happen.

Bucky brooks scared of a white WR - saying they need to pump the brakes in Kupp because it's such a "deep class" like any year when whites are represented at a position.

McCaffrey is the class of this years RB class. If a team wants a big back they can get Fournette. But Cook should not go before him. They are both similar size but McCaffrey is the better player and athlete. The only thing Cook did better was the bench which shows he has better strength in his chest muscles. McCaffrey is faster evident by his 40. So speed goes to McCaffrey. Explosion goes to McCaffrey as evident by the vertical and broad jump. Where he outclassed Cook. He's quicker as seen by his shuttle times. McCaffrey has better hips as evident by his 3 cone drill. He has better hand eye coordination as evident by his hands and the way he can track and catch the ball. His feet are quicker as evident by the RB drills. And then when you just look at football. McCaffrey had a beterr career in college as a RB. So the only thing Cook has better is stronger chest muscles. McCaffrey is clearly the better more fluid athlete and should be taken before Cook.
