Good video on Lamar RB Kade Harrington ready to get back at it after a 2k performance last year!

http://www.12newsnow.com/mb/sports/ncaa/lamar-athletics/harrington-focusing-on-this-season/284647938

So far Jake Butt is rated number one TE prospect on a lot of people's draft boards, deservedly so.

http://www.todayspigskin.com/nfl-draft/jake-butt-can-elite-receiving-option-tight-end/

McCaffrey is a Swiss army knife! Top Stanford prospect.

Cooper Kupp, Jake Wieneke, and other mentioned as top FCS prospects!

Looks like the 2018 draft will be good for us after what looks another bad one in 2017, aside from McCaffrey. Walter Football has mocked Josh Rosen (#1), Sam Hubbard (#6), Jake Browning (#7), Mitch Hyatt (#8), Porter Gustin (#10), Brian Allen (#13), Cameron Smith (#15), Brock Ruble (#17), Billy Price (#24), and Andrew Wingard (#29 - Safety!) going in the first round. Lot of guys on defence and two future star QBs going!

Again Draft Daddy is a fine site and they just put out a top WR list. If this holds true to form we could see 4, or if we are lucky to squeeze one or two more in, 6 white wideouts drafted next year. But I caution everyone this whole thing could go down in flames especially if they do not run good 40 yard dash times. They all have been mentioned before but why not again.
The 3 guys most mentioned are listed--Cupp,Switzer and Westerkamp. The fourth wheel is slot Trent Taylor out of Lou Tech.

Have to say two of these names are new to me. Porter Gustin is a hybrid DE/LB at USC--cripes when was the last time USC had 2 white D NFL prospects (Cameron Smith)?
Also like the fact a safety Andrew Wingard out of Wyoming is listed. 4.4 speed by the way and that's important.

Not just a better quarterback than the gremlin but also a better athlete:

Baylor redshirt senior Seth Russell's family sent a video to the media which showed the QB running a 4.40 forty and producing a 40-inch vertical jump.

Both would be among the best figures ever at the NFL Combine, so it will be interesting to compare these results to Russell's future appearance in Indianapolis. Russell was on path to an outstanding season in 2015 before a serious neck injury ended his year. A surgery followed and Russell was cleared to practice in March. Russell and Baylor will have a difficult path to success in 2016.

Coddled and hyped up qb Watson playing race card. Another self absorbed moron who doesn't realize that the discrimination and stereotypes at the college and pro levels are all used 100 times as much against white players because the discrimination is sanctioned from the top down against our guys. He should wake up and see who is actually being discriminated against. Black privilege at its finest!

Good article on Air Force's star Safety Weston Steelhammer! Best name in college football.

http://www.todaysu.com/mwc/air-forces-weston-steelhammer-may-face-nfl-decision/

And one of the best DBs in college football!!!

About halfway through the college writeups and I do think that WR and Safety are two positions that may actually see some of our guys drafted.

Also at this time last year no one expected Paxton Lynch or Carson Wentz to be first round picks so it will be interesting to see what QBs come out of relative obscurity and rise up draft boards this year.

It seems like this happens every year. There will be one or two black quarterbacks hyped up as first round picks, but by the time the season gets underway, sanity takes over and scouts start seeing these black quarterbacks for what they are. I could easily see guys like Leidner, Kelly, Falk, or Rudolph surpassing both Watson and Kaaya on most draft boards.

The senior bowl just released its senior watch list so I am going to review it and create my list of prospects to watch for this year.

Here is my list of seniors to keep an eye as draft prospects going into the season. No underclassmen are listed at this point and this is not an all-inclusive list by any means.

At first glance this does seem to actually be another fairly promising class much like 2016 where we saw a slight uptick in white players drafted. The obvious voids are found at CB and RB. This draft may be the deepest I can recall for White WRs and Safeties though. Granted these guys all have to stay healthy and have excellent senior seasons to help them fight the odds stacked against them courtesy of the caste system. OT seems to be another deep position this year granted the caste system will deem some of these players as only interior linemen.

This year's QB class is somewhat maddening to figure out. I think it could be another decent class if some of these seniors play well to elevate their stock but it will also depend on underclassmen who declare. Chad Kelly is a first round talent and reminds me of Favre moreso than any player I have watched. He needs to tone down some of his Manziel-esque personality traits or risk his stock be hurt by the media and anonymous NFL sources. Physically Kelly has it all though, the mental and attitude questions are his biggest question mark. Mitch Leidner has been puzzlingly hyped up prior to this season and I would argue this is due to all of the supposed draft experts missing the boat on Carson Wentz. I hope Leidner does indeed have a strong senior season but I have to believe it to see it. C.J. Beathard is probably my personal favorite QB in this class due to his steady leadership, underrated athleticism and ability to take care of the ball. He will need to really show the next level in terms of his passing game. Davis Webb is a wildcard, he was a great as a freshman in 2013 but injury caused him to lose his job at Texas Tech. He takes over for Goff at Cal and a strong senior season will most definitely help his draft stock. Seth Russell is the most athletic QB in the class and if he stays healthy and passes the medical checks at the combine will be a riser if his senior season is a good one.

Impressive list!

Tailback Derrick Craine (FCS) Chattanooga....Could be one to watch..at least in an NFL Training Camp...rushed for 1,251 yds & 13 TD's last season

Gotta like Chad Kelly's cocky attitude...At Media days they asked him "are you the Best QB in the SEC"? he said "i'm the Best QB in the nation"...glad to see Seth Russell back from neck injury

A shame LSU D-Lineman Christian Lacouture (6'-5" 305) is Out for the year w knee injury...he should be a solid NFL Prospect when healthy

D-II Collin Bevins looks like an old school head smasher

Intense Strong Safety Nate Gerry(from South Dakota) is built like Adrian Peterson ....should be a 1st or 2nd Round Pick

LBers looking stacked...the elite Calvin Munson left baseball to focus on football could make him the Best!

Just thinking out loud here while watching the Cardinals - Texans game. Both the Saints and Cardinals have two of the best QBs of the 00's in Brees and Palmer. They both obviously have a few seasons left in the tank. Arizona doesn't seem to have a contingency plan yet as they seem reluctant to throw Barkley in there to get some experience and Grayson is struggling in New Orleans from what I have heard (disappointing news as I liked him in the 2015 draft). It just bears watching how both teams fare because if either falters there will be a media push for them to draft a black quarterback.

I am a fan of the young Kelly. Reminds me of his Uncle Jim.
Buffalo has a shot at redemption if they draft the young Kelly as the franchise qb and get rid of these afleets at qb.

Yes indeed. What has happened in Buffalo is an abomination. Whaley is a racist POS. I hope the Bills lose every game this year and he gets canned along with fat rex.

Supposed draft expert Tony Pauline made the following statement which should through his paper thin credibility out the window:

Quarterback Brandon Harris is underrated in most scouting circles and has the physical skills to develop into a next level signal caller.

Haha thanks for the laugh, I hated reading about this looney toons draft breakdowns whenever he was featured on packers.com. He's got to be one of the only clowns in the country that still has faith in Harris and his scattershot arm. Etling will and should be the starter sooner than later unless LSU wants to get destroyed rest of the year by their own conference.

I am going to go on the record and say that I think C.J Beathard is going to have an Andy Dalton like rise during the draft. He looks great so far, his arm strength has improved and he has great mobility playing in a pro style system.

Dane Brugler - afflete jock sniffing extrordanaire is pushing for Cleveland to draft deshone Kizer. I sent him a nice tweet letting him know that his three top qbs which are all black - Watson, kaaya and Kizer all had down weeks and Watson and kaaya have looked nothing like 1st round picks which they have been hyped to be.

My response to someone who thinks the two best QBs of next year's draft are named Deshaun and Deshone would consist of a two-word phrase. The second word is "please" and the first word is a five-letter variation of a word that normally has six letters.
