In 2015 the percentage of blacks in MLB went up and so did Latino players of color while the percentage of whites went down two full percentage points. Meanwhile recent drafts have been loaded with black players, especially at the top end of drafts which indicates a huge infusion of blacks entering the league in the coming years. And there are no signs whatsoever that Latino participation will decrease, in fact most feel their numbers are still on the rise. The whites? They will continue to decrease and it has been discussed here before the white number is grossly inflated because the majority of them are on pitching staffs whereas the blacks and Latinos rule the "glory" positions like SS and CF.
And unlike the other sports baseball is out front and in our faces about their desire to increase the number of American blacks but behind this goal is the continuing desire to EXTERMINATE white players from major league sports. If we were to play by these "diversity" rules the media keeps throwing at us then there should be legitimate conversations about the lack of whites in the NBA and NFL. But no this is a one way highway designated to denigrate whites so they can put blacks on a pedestal. Which is real racism. Just plain makes me want to vomit.

Yet, despite the odds against white players it speaks volumes of their resiliency! Just look at my prior post on the batting averages in the NL. 15 or 16 depending on what Arenado is racially, of the top 20 are white, while the top 3/4 players in MLB are white; Trout CF, Harper, Bryant, and Seager SS.

This story continues to gain traction. Again the racial double standards are never pointed out and blacks are the only victims of racist taunts. They even mention how their are only 62 black players in the MLB on all the teams - they didn't mention that only 44 white players were drafted in the draft last weekend.

The constant double standard in sports and society is tiresome and the leftist manipulated narrative of "racism" continues to promote the false notion that whites are the only perpetrators of racism when in fact we are by in large the only target of socially accepted and practiced racism in this country.

I'm highly skeptical of all athlete's claims of being called the N word. As a social experiment I will say ****** in public around whites (strangers) and they are shocked and horrified. If this serial race baiter was a real man ( one that has an actual penis) and he heard racial taunts he could have and should have quietly gone through the proper channels and Fenway ushers would be alerted to act on the abusers and punish them accordingly. As the media rides this non story (the same non stories that destroyed the careers of WR Riley Cooper, Seinfeld's Michael Richards and Clippers owner Donald Sterling) few are actually looking into the details. My understanding is the person who threw the peanuts on the field was kicked out--and I would say anyone who throws objects on to the field should be kicked out for life--but oddly so far no eyewitnesses have come forth about the racist taunts or any cell phone evidence videos of the incidents have been used as evidence so in reality the facts apart from what Jones says have not been fully verified. You have MLB on their knees the Boston Mayor apologizing (for what I have no idea) and major media treating it like a terrorist attack.
And another day goes by and white America has to deal with more ginned up Scarlett Letter type guilt. And Adam Jones becomes a hero because he "stood up" to the racists. The slant on this story is all so wrong and diabolically laid out it not only further advances racial alienation but adds another hammer in the misery coffin of white Americans.

In one case we have a black guy on the record stating anti-white comments in a public forum and has experienced no long term issues with his public image or being shunned and shamed. It was a major story on NBC's Fake News tonight. Apparently Jones received a long standing ovation when he came to the plate tonight for his first at bat from those heinously racist Red Sox fans; the local station that I watched this on noted that "Jackie Robinson was watching from above."

I'm still waiting for video/audio of the n-word being yelled at Jones, or the bag of peanuts allegedly hurled at him. I am actually wondering if these "racist" stories are part of some pattern. We are coming off two horrific black on white slaughters and it turns out the guy that went on the shooting spree in Dallas was a member of The New Black Panther Party and was sympathetic to the Black Lives Matter movement. The Asian paramedic he shot might survive? So make it three black on non black crimes. The NFL Draft featured Christian front and center and managed to squeeze in a few more skill position players not to mention an athletic QB getting picked second. This most likely pissed off the black superiority brigade so they were just itching for a fight.
As for the should be blurb of a story we just knew this latest nonsense was going to go straight down the toilet and the media would do their usual wind up act. Journalists are dusting off their ole" Boston is racist stories " by bringing up stuff that happened ages ago. ESPN, who are close to signing their death knell if they don't stop the white bashing, has Michael Smith lecturing us about how every city is racist and then goes on a tirade about the hate in white people's hearts. He and his female sidekick, who was suspended by ESPN in 2008 for comparing the Celtics to Adolf Hitler, continue to amplify both the caste haze and generalized white bashing. Good riddance.
I have been to Boston several times and it is one of the whitest large cities in the country. It is also one of the cleanest ,safest, most educated, historical, beautiful and all around fun places with so many things to do. There is a distinct Irish flavor that pervades the city that I found delightful. The pubs are truly alive and it is full of music and things that make people happy. Bostonians also love their sports. And they are good people.
The country is less racist against blacks than it ever has been but conversely more racist against whites than it has ever been but the media stays away from that reality. Quite frankly the racism against blacks today is very limited and marginalized and the media hype surrounding it is a bunch of poppycock mainly designed to further a political agenda.

I seem to recall Dave Parker having an ugly incident in an opposing city (maybe Philadelphia) where he pointed out an area where the battery came from.

Reggie Jackson had quarters tossed at him by the hometown fans as a tribute and as a form of derision because of his periodic slumps at the plate. Jackson who always was tight with the buck reportedly scooped up the change regardless of the reason for tossing it at him.......

Ps. Last year in a one game playoff a Korean national had a half full beer can tossed at him in Toronto a city where racism and fan violence in the past has been minimal. I do recall as a youth that when I went to CFL games there would be fist fights among the fans in the cheap seats every time Toronto played Hamilton, ie Chiefs vs Raiders games.

I recall the battery incident, not sure where it happened, might have been Pittsburgh, where Dave Parker was booed and taunted after he left the Pirates. Not because he was black, but because after he received one of the first huge, guaranteed contracts in 1980 he let himself go, ballooning into a fatso whose on field production dropped dramatically. He was also implicated in baseball's drug scandal in the mid-1980s that was centered around the Pirates clubhouse, with drug dealers coming and going freely while "nice guy" manager Chuck Tanner apparently had no clue what was going on. There was also an incident where Parker had thrown a stewardess out of his house, leaving her to wander around naked in the middle of winter not too far from where I lived.

Some buddies and I went to a Pirates game circa 1986 and sat in the right field stands to heckle Parker, who was then on the Reds. There were a number of other hecklers there too. There was nothing racial said and no objects were thrown. A lot of the taunts were mimicking vendors by yelling "Coke here!" in reference to Parker's coke habit. The Reds won the game and after the last out Parker turned around and gave a gesture toward the stands, the only time he acknowledged his detractors.

New York Yankee Matt Holliday with his 300th career HR! He's the active HR leader among white players. Braun, 297. Holliday also has over 2,000 hits and over 1,100 RBI , and a career .303 BA.. A World Series winner, batting champion, NL series MVP and 7 time All Star, but may not be quite enough for the Hall. He's seems to be having a resurgence after some injuries. Hopefully, he has another 3 or 4 good years and can make the HOF someday.
