Week 5 started off last night - Iowa St. vs. Texas with Texas winning.

Some decent Friday night games:
Miami vs. Duke - hopefully Duke defeats Miami and Daniel Jones begins getting national recognition
Nebraska vs. Illinois - Mike Epstein and Mike Dudek are back after a bye week
USC vs. Washington St. - A matchup of two very good QBs in Darnold and Falk.

Duke vs Miami (FL) is on right now, Duke has plenty of whites on the field. Miami not so much, but one of their only white players Braxton Berrios should draw your attention. Berrios already has a 27 yard TD at the end of the 1st!

Huge win for the Washington State Cougars. They held off USC 30-27. Luke Falk was amazing again.

Washington State quarterback Luke Falk has tied Marcus Mariota for second-most touchdown passes in Pac-12 history at 105. Former USC's Matt Barkley holds the record with 116 passing touchdowns from 2009-2012.

Wisconsin vs Northwestern at noon should be a good one as always! I'll be missing most of the game day's looking forward to the updates.

Falk looked really good last night. That performance has to really help his draft stock. He stands tall in the pocket, makes all the reads and delivers a very accurate ball. He does hold onto the ball and wait for things to happen which is a good and bad thing. He is fearless in the pocket though. Washington St. runs an offense that reminds me a lot of the Patriots. Darnold put up a gritty performance but for a team with so much supposed affleticism he does not have much help at WR.

A few notes about games last night.
1-BYU is a mess. Don't like their Head Coach and they have no business losing to a team like Utah State. Once a great passing team now they are a grind it out bore. As mentioned above converted S (used to be a CB) Micah Hannemann is athletic. The one big bright spot last night was WR Jr. speedster Beau Tanner who made a spectacular 40 yard TD catch. In the old days a player like Tanner would be racking up the stats. It is telling that was the only his only catch of the night.
2-Red Raider pointed this out but both white WR's on NC are done for the year. The only positive is that Austin Proehl's injury is an arm thing and not a ligament tear in the leg. While on the ACC Duke LB Ben Humphreys could be NFL material. Looks smooth and athletic out there. Not sure if any NFL buzz on Miami WR Braxton Barrios--see above highlights. The fact that he returns punts helps his chances but probably a long shot but if he tests well who knows?
3-Illinois has a great young running back in Epstein and Dudek is their best WR but this team stinks. All of a sudden Nebraska's defense is coming into focus. SR LB Chris Weber was all over the place last night and was the player of the game. LB/S Luke Gifford continues to play really well and the last couple of games FR DE Ben Stille has created havoc in the backfield. 3 TFL's last night.
4- USC's best defensive player was MIA again, stud LB/DE Porter Gustin. Without him the Trojans have struggled.

Kyle Allen benched for Kyle Postma. Postma is a good QB, never got a chance under previous caste whore Tom Herman although he is a better QB than the former black quarterback. Unfortunatley Postma is starting over Allen who I had high hopes for this season.

Yep, and all three of them are home-grown players. Imagine that! <sarc>. I read that Riley or DC Diaco noticed that 6'5" 265lb Stille was standing out in practice, making plays and showing athleticism and said "we've got to find a way to get this guy on the field". And to think that they were originally considering this former in-state defensive standout as a Tight End instead of DE/OLB o_O

I looked up the write-ups on both teams on this site. Both teams have 12 White starters. So a majority of the starters on each team is White. Good news!

Weird!! It's almost like Nebraska kids can play football better than those out-of-state high upside recruits Husker DWFs constantly claim the Cornhuskers need. Even Husker DWFs admitted Stille looked like the best player on the field last night. And it sure seemed like it. Him, Gifford, and Weber seemed like they were everywhere last night! With Stoltenberg on the field, Nebraska had 4 whites on defense for a lot of the night. Not too bad, and I hope the defense continues improving this year.

I'm sure Heretic knows this, but Nebraska has a top-class athlete in local kid Cameron Jurgens coming in next year. The recruiting sites say he would be best at OLB, where he'd be a four-star recruit. Where is Mike Riley going to play him you ask? Tight End of course, which has a log-jam of freshman and sophomores. You can't make this stuff up; it's insane! Between Matt Snyder, Jack Stoll, David Engelhaupt and other young players are already there.

No fan of Maryland, but glad they beat Minnesota, 31-24, at Minnesota. After Maryland's top two black quarterbacks went down for the year due to injuries, they are now playing a White QB and he led them to victory with good performance. Inexcusable for a state like Minnesota to not start a single White player on defense, so f*ck them, although I did spot a paleface (#95) playing DE for them late in the game.

Good article finally recognizing this. "Nebraska guys lead another strong defensive effort..."

RB Jake Funk had a TD reception. Have to wonder if they Bortenschlager will get a fair shot at being the starting QB next season if he plays well this year (this never seems to be the case when it is a white vs. a black quarterback). I am also puzzled as to why Caleb Henderson transferred to Maryland.

The Badgers are in the backfield on every play and still have yet to allow a second-half point this season... big wow
