What a screwed up schedule this week. Why on earth are all the big time matchups on around the same time at night? No noon blockbusters and the biggest game at 3:30 EST is Penn State-Pitt which is fairly big but not a goliath. Penn State should kick ass. Three certified huge collisions take place at night. I will throw in ND- Georgia NBC at 7:30 too which makes four.
But look at this : Auburn-Clemson 7:00 ESPN
Oklahoma-Ohio State 7:30 ABC
Stanford-USC 8:30 FOX
I know they are staggered just a bit but really one of these games should have been a day game but I guess each network wants to prime time these games.

Ohio vs. Purdue should be an entertaining game. Looking forward to seeing CB Brad Ellis and LB Quentin Poling tonight vs a Big Ten offense and Oulette running the ball.

Mason Rudolph continues his march towards national prominence and recognition (as well as Heisman contention) tonight vs. South Alabama. Rudolph is my favorite senior QB, really want to watch as much of him as possible this year.

Rudolph looking good in cupcake action against South Alabama.

Yea I have to wonder if Gundy is going to let him play anymore this game to pad his stats and getting into the Heisman convo. He kind of reminds me of Big Ben.

As we head into a big day below is a very interesting and fairly accurate list of the top 15 College Football fan bases and the top two or three were pretty much as I figured. This is important because we want the white skill players attending these schools for the obvious reason that their fan bases are flat out nuts about their favorite schools.

Proehl had a nice 14yd catch. Took a screen pass, Broke three tackles and displayed good elusiveness getting upfield making something out of nothing.

36yd catch by UNC WR Thomas Jackson! UNC TE Brandon Fritts with 2tds against overrated Louisville.

Duke QB Daniel Jones is playing well against Northwestern so far, has Blue Devils up 14-3 .

I really like watching Jones, but not liking Northwestern losing. Iowa looking pedestrian against Iowa State, currently behind 10-7. Stanley just way overthrows TE Fant, who was all by himself, on a long ball. I thought Iowa's offense would look better this year, but it doesn't.

Iowa's offense looking pretty good, getting the TEs involved. I hope Stanley continues to improve as the season goes along. He has looked good today in his 2nd start.

Addazio must of attented the Les Miles school of quarterback recruiting. BCs offense struggling again with a black quarterback at the helm.

Every. Damn. Year. Post Matt Ryan Era.

They are coming on, showing potential. Stanley missed another long pass badly to a black WR that was wide open earlier in the third Qtr. Iowa needs to have some practices with him throwing long and try to get his timing down correctly. Against Iowa State, they should have more of a direct offensive attack against them instead of trying to go outside since they have a size and strength advantage up front. They are going to lose this game if they keep this up.

Iowa State starting QB looks kind of like a Whiter version of Kraperneck.

It is their Achilles heel for sure. I think they've recruited a couple of White QBs recently, though.

Now Iowa State is up. Iowa shouldn't be in this position. They should be using their OL and running game to dominate time of possession and ball control.
