Northwestern down big against Duke. What's the point of Thorson running the read option if he never (or rarely) runs the ball? Either get rid of the play altogether and go with a straight run or let him run it more often.

Stanley with another nice fade-pattern TD throw with touch, this time to a black WR. A few plays before that he way overthrows another open receiver on a long pass. He's very accurate on short, medium and fade patterns, but his timing is way off long. Iowa still down by 3, getting late in the 4th.
 
Wow, Parker Hesse, Iowa DL with the pick. Iowa set up nicely inside the ten of ISU.
 
What a game. Iowa escapes with a win in OT. Now they just need watch some game film and tweak some things to continue to improve.

Another TE to keep an eye on, Logan Hessbrook(Saginaw Valley transfer )
outta Central Michigan. Just hauled in a TD pass from QB Shane Morris(Michigan transfer ). Another big target can really move.
 
UNC WR Austin Proehl finished with 8 catches for 120 yards against Louisville coal defense.
