Hopefully Georgia being defeated will upend any hope of the caste dream of having two SEC teams in the college football playoffs. Now if Auburn could defeat Alabama in two weeks, that would be something. Anyone else feel really awkward about strongly rooting against Iowa today?

But, but, but...BSPN.com says that Auburn is in the "thick of the playoff race" even with two losses.

For me, at least this year...Northwestern > Iowa (barely) > Wisconsin. But, if in the long run it's beneficial to the cause, then I'm OK with the sacrifice...but I root for both, just one a little bit more than the other. In this case, it was Wisconsin.

Wisconsin 10 and 0! They control their own destiny! Just keep winning! Hornibrooks interceptions have got to stop though.

Surprised just how dominant Wisconsin is - especially on defense. Iowa is a quality team and they are getting dominated.

Jim Leonhard has done a great job taking over an already talented defense and making them even better. Great hire. Not many teams can match Badgers physicality imo.

Is there any chance of a nightmare scenario (in my mind) where Miami, Miss St. and auburn all win and notre dame, Alabama and Auburn all stay above Wisconsin in the rankings with auburn and/or Miss st jumping them because of Wisconsin’s soft (sic) schedule

Of course. We are living in a nightmare, so any scenario like that is certainly possible.

WR Riley Lees with 78-yard punt return for TD for Northwestern.

Bunch of B.S. they took the TD away due to some NU player barely pushing a Purdue player when he was already out-of-bounds. They called it "showboating". Makes no sense. Complete Caste B.S.

I would expect nothing less to be honest.

The Purdue QB didn't avoid contact with NU MLB Paddy Fisher and Fisher hit him hard and the cucked color guy announcer made mention that the Purdue QB shouldn't be trying to make contact with Fisher, just go down. He then made a compliment about Fisher, but then said, something like, "he's not the kind of guy that's super athletic or going to run a 4.3 forty...", and I'm thinking "of course...a back-handled 'compliment'" and then thought to myself "who in the hell (as a MLB) runs a 4.3 forty, or anyone else for that matter outside of a small handful of WR or CBs?". Geez.

Not quite as good as Sills TD earlier today, but definitely an honorable mention for Berrios' TD catch.

Of course, everyone on Twitter with tweets saying he'll someday be playing with the New England Patriots on Sundays.

Mayfield was hit in the lower leg and has been limping around. Hopefully it is not serious.

The MSU-OSU game obviously didn't go to plan, but at least three white defenders for OSU made solid contributions. Tuf Borland lead the team in tackles with 11 (8 solo), and had 2 TFL and a sack in a great performance. Nick Bosa had a sack, while Sam Hubbard had four tackles and a TFL. Meanwhile on the MSU defence, they weren't great but Willekes and Panasiuk had their two TFL, with Willekes leading the team in tackles with 9 (5 solo). Frey and Bachie had four tackles each.

I have no doubt we'll see another Bosa taken high in the NFL draft in the coming years, while Borland could do what Chris did in half a season (108 tackles and 2 picks in 8 starts was remarkable!) and Hubbard should be a first round pick in next year's draft.

Galloway is whining about Lamar Jackson not being in the Heisman conversation. Makes me wonder why Mason Rudolph and Sam Darnold are not back in the Heisman conversation. Mayfield had another excellent game so he should further distance himself from the pack on his way to a Heisman victory.

It's too bad Fitzgerald couldn't lead the upset of Alabama who gets to play Mercer next week before Auburn. On one of the broadcasts one of the commentators was saying that Alabama can get away with playing Mercer this late in the season because they are Alabama - not sure what kind of logic that is. Wisconsin and Oklahoma should now be in the top 4 replacing Notre Dame and Georgia. It will be interesting to see how they make excuses to keep Wisconsin out this week. They thoroughly dominated a very good Iowa team who crushed Ohio St a week before and took PSU down to the wire.
