Bruh, Lamar Jackson under 50% passing and 4 ints in his bowl game loss. Now let's see how he is compared against Darnold for his bowl performance.

Yeah he’s not thrown the ball well today. He’s an inconsistent passer and a good runner, I wouldn’t take him in the first round but because he’s more, and I hope I don’t offend anybody by saying this but I’m being honest, athletic than Darnold and is dangerous as a runner people will overlook his passing woes more than they will with more of a pocket passer. But even so, most people already acknowledge that Jackson isn’t a great passer.

Like I said we aren't here to grovel and praise black players. 99.9% of the internet and all sports channels and broadcasts do that.

I don't know, I didn't watch the game.

I know this: whites are massively discriminated against in college and pro football. It's blatant.

Whenever whites complain about this discrimination blacks and white liberals take umbrage. When whites try to build themselves up blacks and white liberals try to tear them down.

I’m not sure what your post has to do with mine then because I wasn’t arguing with someone about discrimination in football or whites building themselves up, I was arguing with them about what the way a team performed. And nobody has a problem with whites ‘building themselves up’. I don’t have a problem with you guys doing that with white athletes here, but I do have a problem with the way y’all bash and scapegoat black athletes. You can build yourselves up without tearing anybody else down.

I will agree with you - Jackson is a better athlete than Darnold. Darnold however is a better quarterback.

I said nothing about groveling or praising, I’m just holding you to the standard I think you’d hold the media or a college or pro recruiter to, and that’s fairness.

I would hold us accountable to the lowest common denominator - the fans. Anything said here about a black athlete is no worse than what the typical fan says about a white player or athlete (although it is acceptable to bash white players ).

You tried to tear down Sam Darnold.

Darnold had a bad game against a GREAT Buckeye defense. To me it's not the end of the world, he should come back for his junior year. Hes got some growing to do, way too many turnovers this year. Lamar Jackson proves he'll be a WR at next level by todays performance, ifhe can catch. 4 ints and sacked 6 times in second half. Exposed. His OL has been a liability all year as well!

Good mathup right now between high quality QBs in Browning vsMcSorley! Browning rushed for his 7th TD. McSorley just made a nice throw nin the redzone!

Excerpts from Rotoworld:

Louisville junior QB Lamar Jackson completed just 13-of-31 passes for 171 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions in Saturday's 31-27 loss to Mississippi State in the Taxslayer Bowl.

Jackson was up to his usual heroics on the ground, gobbling up a game-high 158 yards with a touchdown on the ground, but he was a bit off in this one as the pressure of the Bulldogs defense coaxed him into some poor decisions. He posted 3,660 passing yards with 27 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2017, while running for at least 100 yards on 10 different occasions. He is expected to be a high-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, but he is a divisive prospect among scouts. Jackson has the ability to make plays with his feet, and some team will fall in love with his playmaking ability during the draft process.

USC redshirt sophomore QB Sam Darnold completed 26-of-45 passes for 356 yards and an interception in Friday's 24-7 loss to Ohio State in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

It was a bad game from Darnold, but he got little help from his offensive line, which disintegrated time and time again. Even when the redshirt sophomore wasn't sacked -- he was taken down eight times -- he often found himself scrambling for his life. Despite what was a broken performance by USC on the whole, the 6-foot-4, 215-pounder still managed several eye-popping completions, including several to the sidelines against super-tight coverage. The world will now await with baited breath to see if Darnold will declare for the NFL Draft. That's not a given, but should he make the jump, he's a potential top-five pick for the spring.

So Jackson throws 4 INTs and he is just a "bit off" whereas Darnold had a bad game plain and simple.

No mention of his crucial fumble or drop by weenieworld. Those were the two biggest plays of the game:

USC junior WR Deontay Burnett caught 12 passes for 139 yards in Friday's 24-7 loss to Ohio State in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

Burnett (6'0/170) was QB Sam Darnold's favorite target on the evening, albeit in a game where USC's offense was largely snuffed out by OSU's terrifying defense. The junior wideout wraps up the campaign having caught 86 passes for 1,114 yards and nine touchdowns. While he's slightly undersized, Burnett offers plus quickness and route running for draft purposes. Should he declare, the Trojans wideout will be in the Day 2 (Rds. 2-3) conversation.

Slightly undersized? Hit the damn weight room man. Dude barely weighs 170 soaking wet with all his pads on! Skinny bones finished with good stats, mostly in garbage time. Weenie world knows not to criticize his crucial mistakes though, interesting. What a joke, a white WR that size would NEVER be D1 let alone at USC!

Another one for liluzivert:

Mississippi State freshman QB Keytaon Thompson gathered 147 rushing yards with three touchdowns in Saturday's 31-27 win against Louisville in the Taxslayer Bowl, and he completed 11-of-20 passes for 127 yards, no touchdowns and an interception.

On the ground, the freshman outshined 2016 Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. It was a very nice coming out party for the first-year player, who was thrust into action in the Egg Bowl when Nick Fitzgerald (ankle) was carted off due to a serious ankle ailment. Thompson certainly looked to be a capable playmaker in his final two appearances and could force his way into the starting job conversation with a big spring even when Fitzgerald is back to 100 percent health.

So an established proven starter in Nick Fitgerald's job can suddenly be up for grabs due to injury because of two average performances of a black player. Are you seeing a pattern here yet?

Liluzivert - Vita Vea was PAC 12 defensive player of the year over Stanford DT Harrison Phillips - really?

Check out and compare their stats. They both play interior line. Vea plays next to the very good Greg Gaines.

Vita Vea - 26 solo/12 assisted - 38 total tackles, 5.5 TFLs for 25 yds, 3.5 sacks, 4 PBUs, 1 blocked kick
Harrinson Phillips - 37 solo/65 assisted - 102 total tackles, 16.5 TFLs for 56 yds, 7 sacks, 2 FFs, 6 QB hurries, 1 blocked kick

DAT UPSIDE! That way Miss St Mud Dawgs would be 100% upsiders! Helluva way to treat Fitzgerald after leading the mud dawgs to bowl games 2 years in a row. Another example of a white guy potentially losing his job to an afflete due to an injury (Navy and Zac Abbey)

The average fan doesn’t berate white players for being white I completely disagree with that. Sports is typically the one arena most fans can put all the racial mess aside and root for their team.

Guy made a crapload of money at a young age. If he’s got a low IQ then each of his IQ points must be worry a hell of a lot.

I never said it was the end of the world. You guys are assuming that because I’m willing to be honest about the fact that his play hurt his team, that I’m calling his ability into question in general. And what does Jackson have to do with Darnold’s game? Also, if Darnold’s mistakes can be blamed on a wide receiver fumbling then can’t Jackson’s mistakes be blamed on the fact that his crappy o-line got him sacked 6 times in 2 quarters?

I compared Darnold to Jackson because they are both highly touted college QBs and wanted to point out the nuances for you in the way in which the media subtly uses wording to differently when comparing a white and black player. I posted a few different things I found just today over the course of 20-30 minutes to illustrate the differences and pro-black bias that exists. That is only from Rotoworld blurbs. Look up how Lovie Smith viewed Brock Forsey. Ask yourself why Zach Zenner did not get many carries this year but somehow Tion Green did? Or why Jeff Janis only plays on special teams?

Quarterback controversies happen all the time. This year Jacob Eason lost his spot to Jake Fromm due to injury. Might be for good considering how efficient Fromm has been.
