Semian was named the starter! Sanchez being shopped for a trade lol.

I watched some of the Bengals game last night and Erickson should easily win a spot on the roster. Looks like another year on the PS for Jake Kumerow though.

Jordan Taylor hopefully still has an outside shot of making the final roster although I did not see much from him this preseason.

He wasn't expected to play tonight and it appears he didn't. Not sure the reason.

In related news, Cedric Peerman fractured his forearm and is likely going to IR. Burkhead should be locked in as the number 3 RB.

Yeah, Burkhead should be on the field quite a bit in 2016. One injury to Gio Bernard and he's their 3rd down back. Same with Zach Zenner in Detroit if Abdullah goes down or Tyler Gaffney in New England if Blount misses time.

I fear Taylor will be cut, with the excuse being he's great in practice but can't produce in (preseason) games. He should be their third receiver, ahead of Cody Latimer, a second round bust from 2014, and nobodies like Bennie Fowler and Jordan Norwood.

Nick needs to get healthy:

Nick Kwiatkoski remains a mystery four months into his Bears career. The West Virginia product suffered a hamstring injury on July 29 — the third overall practice, first day in pads — and though he has made some progress with the injury, he has not practiced since. Though he’s obviously behind Jerrell Freeman and Danny Trevathan at inside linebacker, Kwiatkoski was expected to provide help on special teams — which like every other facet of the Bears still needs a lot of work.

It appears as if Vikings QB, Teddy Bridgewater, tore his ACL at practice and will miss 2016 season. If so, Shaun Hill becomes the starter.

Sounds like Bosa has finally been signed.

Yes, 4 years for $25.8 million. That is good news. San Diego now has Rivers, Woodhead, Hunter Henry and Bosa, which will make them bearable to watch. They also picked up at least one OL in the draft.

Minnesota was one of the whitest teams in the league even with Bridgewater starting. Now they will be even that much better to watch. According to Ourlads the Vikings will now start 11 Whites. I am psyched for Minnesota's season!

I wish they had someone better than Shaun Hill as a replacement. It's not too late for a trade...

If the Vikings were smart, they would make a trade with Miami for Matt Moore. With the Fins drafting Brandon Doughty this year, Moore could be expendable. I think he would be good for a team like the Vikings. Matt Moore is probably better than Teddy Bridgewater anyway, so to lose Bridgewater would be addition by subtraction

ESPN caste clown John Clayton suggested the Vikings give Kaepernick a look. Another example of preferential treatment for black athletes by the biased media.

Lol that is amazingly stupid. I hope Krapernick is done in the league. I wouldn't be surprised if the 49ers are
Marching him out on Thursday in hopes he has another bad performance to give them a reason to cut him.

Bengals update -- Erickson and Burkhead to be their two primary kick returners to open the season:

Alex Erickson’s monster preseason just goes to show that anyone can make a roster, regardless of draft pedigree, if he plays well enough. While the Bengals have seen preseason standouts in years past, none can come close to Erickson, who has tallied 231 all-purpose yards and three total touchdowns in three games. The wide receiver leads all Bengals in receiving touchdowns (two), kickoff return average (31 yards per return) and punt returns (167 yards, 41.8 yards per return, one touchdown).

Erickson’s stunning performances have earned him a role as the Bengals’ designated return man. To presumably promote the undrafted rookie to the active roster on a week-to-week basis, Cincinnati cut veteran Brandon Tate — a move the team seemed hesitant to make without a reliable return man in the fold. That the Bengals were willing enough to part ways with a fixture on the roster goes to show how confident Marvin Lewis, Darrin Simmons and the rest of the Bengals staff is in the rookie. Virtually everyone counted Erickson out when he showed up in Cincinnati, but he simply kept making plays.

An interesting tidbit came out of the Bengals’ Tuesday press conference in that Rex Burkhead will reportedly play a role as a kickoff return specialist. Considering the running back hasn’t been able to carve out a major role aside from his playing on the coverage teams, this is good news for Burkhead and for the Bengals.

It sounds like the Vikings are going with Shaun Hill. Honestly is it that much of a downgrade? I think Hill and Bridgewater are fairly similar QBs even though the media would have you believe otherwise. Bridgewater has received so much hype for being essentially a game managing type QB. I wish Heinicke did not suffer an injury earlier this summer, he would of been an intriguing QB option.

Minnesota DWFs are acting like losing Bridgewater is the end of the world. You know because Bridgewater, who barely averaged 200 passing yards per game last season and arguably regressed from 2014, is such an amazing player.

Remember that it was Sewerwater that took out a 10 million insurance policy on himself in case of a career ending injury. He had only a few injuries at Louisville, but this might the beginning of getting tagged as injury prone after a non contact injury like this.

Apparently they were expecting him to drive the ball down the field more, but he has never been much of a vertical passing threat. The only reason he had big games at Louisville was because of the offense and YAC.

I saw a stat that said Bridgewater has the highest completion percentage for a QB under 25 in NFL history. I thought, "huh, he's really very mediocre but that's good at least". Then I looked who he's ahead of for his record. Robert Gremlin and Russell Wilson. Those black quarterbacks sure have revolutionized the art of dinking and dunking.

I went to BSPN and on the feed on the side of the page was a video segment by the racist stephan a. smiff saying that geno smiff needed a change of scenery and Minnesota would be ideal for him.

There is no discernible difference between Hill and Bridgewater. They are the same kind of QB. Hill can do everything that the beloved black quarterback does which is alot of screen passes, short passes to tight ends, dump offs to RBs.

I've heard some chatter that UDFA NT Brian Price out of Texas San Antonio has a chance at making53 man roster. Bonehead Mike Pennel is suspended first 4 games and 1st rd pick Kenny Clark has been injured much of preseason. Expected to backup another thug bonehead in Letroy Guion at NT!

Also it looks like Dean Lowery will start the season as starting DE!

He has little spindly legs on a smallish upper body. It's not rocket science that he should be injury prone. I recall various scouts talking about his mysterious weight loss and spindly legs being a negative about him.
