MM lol I am more referring to the way their hips and butts look when running, most of the East African runners look more like skinny, butt ugly men lol I still consider white 800m female sprinters far better to look at than most others Cudos for Coburn winning bronze in 3,000SC, the winner looked like she was running on "Jet Fuel"

Based on RCSMAN's stat breakdown Van Niekirk's 100m would have won the gold in the men's 100m lol I know the differences i.e. bend etc etc but that is seriously fast! His splits are mind blowing, Johnson was be crying in his Wheatie's this morning...lol
Glad to see Schippers looking relaxed in her 200m as well as Prandini looked very good in hers as well, lots left in the tank for both of them.

at least Lemaitre has a chance to use Merritt as a target around the bend, if he runs relaxed and shows the same speed endurance he showed in the 100m he should be top 2 or top 3 in this heat. Hortelano has a much more difficult task running blind ion lane 8 in his heat. Very interesting once again that all the Jamaicans drew preferred lanes....suspicious already.....
Lemaitre 3rd it would be very bad for his lane in semi final

Not sure why we'd be celebrating the win by mystery meat Van Niekerk here at CF. Because he's got a white surname? He deserves whatever accolades he receives, but he doesn't help our cause any.

Nice run and Bronze for 21 year old Clayton Murphy in the 800 meters.

His 1.42.93 isn't far off the U.S. record and faster than any American has run at a big games meet. Very,very impressive - although I felt for Bosse.

to be frank, the Ruskies generally don't have the sprinter's tools. You can only sharpen what's there.
They couldn't get a guy to break 10 all through the 70s and 80s.

Gotta say this: in the 800m final it was very obvious the other Kenyan Kipketer's only job was to be Rudesha's rabbit and burn the others legs...

Football Dad....does Allen serve our purpose any better as he is a mulatto. How about Talbot, he is mixed race but looks white. How about Sydney McLaughlin she is a mulatto, looks white more than she looks black. Where does one draw the line? Not looking for a flame war but I am fairly new here and would like some feedback...
There is no definitive line. Some people won't root for any athlete who isn't clearly 100% White, others root for mixed race athletes, certain Asians, etc. The rule here has always been, you root for whoever you want as long as you understand the purpose of this site is to support White athletes.

Yeah, it was great to see a white runner medal in the 800. Although I wish the French runner would've taken 2nd.
It was also nice to see the 6' 9" German, Christoph Harting, win gold in discus, slinging his personal best by over 3 meters...
Wow! Did you guys just see Hortelano? He was running way out in lane eight, looked to his right twice, eased up at the finish, and STILL beat Yohan Blake!!!!!!!
In the previous heat, Talbot finished a strong second to advance, but the Greek guy finished third and will have to wait on the times. Note that both Talbot and the Greek finished ahead of some African runner the announcers were hyping. That guy had said he could beat Bolt and that he was the "future" of sprinting.
Clayton Murphy was amazing last night, by the way. He's only 21 years old and became the first American to medal in something like 50 years or so. Track fans are going crazy over it. He looks like a budding superstar. Better learn the name.

Update: Guliyev has now joined Hortelano and Talbot. Guliyev completely FELL ASLEEP in the first half of the race. He gave the entire field a head start then calmly strode into second place. This is good and bad. Good because if he gets a decent start he can actually medal. Bad because it's unclear that he's capable of a decent start.
Update: Herrara (white Mexican) just dominated his heat.
