Crissy just called massive, immobile sumo Jason Peters "so athletic" as a pass rusher blew by him with ease. Peters has had success in the league by being a large powerful tackle but Collinsworthless has to go out of his way to make the big brute into some sorta supa dupa, affletic specimen. Barf.

The Eagles offense is way too horizontal. They need some vertical passing plays.

Well that sucked I wanted Philly to win but Witten and Beasely came up big.

Sean Lee was also lights out tonight, flying around all over the place making big plays. He's a great leader on Defense.

And for supposedly being the "weakest link" on Dallas' great O-Line, Doug Free was stellar all night long against a ferocious Philly pass rush. And of course Frederick and Martin were very solid there also, as usual. Prescott and Elliot are really benefitting from the great play from these unsung heroes.

I can't help but like the Cowboys this season, even with Dak at QB. It was very telling when I saw the overtime coin toss. The 3 captains were White men; Jason Witten, Sean Lee and Travis Fredrick. Their leadership has really shown through this season. It shall be interesting to see what happens when Romo is healthy enough to play.

And Witten is a true Iron Man, making his 204th consecutive start, the most in team history, as tonight he passed Ed "Too Tall" Jones for those honors.
It was great for him to be the one to make the winning catch, and the team mobbing him in the end zone. A very fitting night for him.

When was the last time a team had three white WR's all make touchdown catches in the same game? It must have been decades ago I would think. Awesome Pats victory. Also nice to see in SD Den game white D-lineman have such prominent roles.

Last night Harrison and Dungey were both asked who their disappointing teams were at the half way point of the season. Oddly enough neither of them said the 2-5 Panthers. Dungey said the Colts were because Luck was healthy and I forget who Harrison said - I just know neither of them were the Panthers.

When was the last time a team had three white WR's all make touchdown catches in the same game? It must have been decades ago I would think. Awesome Pats victory. Also nice to see in SD Den game white D-lineman have such prominent roles.

Since I've been aware of the Caste System, we've only had a handful of teams in the NFL that have had three white WR's on the active roster at once. From what I recall...

Packers (2014-2016): Janis, Abberderis, Nelson
Patriots (2016): Hogan, Edelman, Amendola
Patriots (2013): Collie, Edelman, Amendola
Broncos (1999): Doering, McCaffrey, McGriff

Until yesterday, I don't believe there was ever a game in which they all scored. All the TD's...

To add to yesterday's theme of white men emasculating black boys, the most dominant offensive weapon in NFL history also scored...

So Janis played almost the entire game but still only got 4 targets, all of which he caught but for just 30 yards and a touchdown, while cement-footed Adams was Rodgers' go-to guy again, with Jordy getting a few more chances than last week's shutdown. But Janis played so much because Cobb and Montgomery were inactive. Is Mike McCarthy afraid to send him deep? It certainly seems that way. And Weenieworld's characterization of him as a "folk hero" is patronizing. The reality is that a lot of football fans, even DWFs, see how obviously fast and talented Janis is and wonder why he doesn't play more. It seems like everyone but the Packers want to see him play and be used properly.

Jeff Janis played 94 percent of the Packers' Week 8 offensive snaps. He also caught all four of his targets against the Falcons for 30 yards and a touchdown. A folk hero in the fantasy community, Janis' playing time has risen in every game he has played this year and his ability to create separation is an element otherwise lacking in Green Bay's passing attack. [Hey Weenieworld, you ever hear of a guy named Jordy Nelson, one of the best big play threats in NFL history?] There is still reason to be skeptical of Janis' increased role when Ty Montgomery (illness) and Randall Cobb (hamstring) were inactive against Atlanta. He's worth stashing in Dynasty leagues and perhaps some especially deep re-draft settings.

Yeah, I was thinking of just the WR's all scoring, not counting tight ends, so yesterdays game might have been truly historic. Also, coming against Hogan's former team, divisional rivals, and the current make up of the Bills, makes for a great game.

Brandon Stokley was a very good player who was under the radar for his entire career it seems. He moved around a lot and had several seasons marred by injuries including a torn acl. On that note isn't it a bloody shame that two wide outs who had spectacular college careers for power 5 conference teams suffered torn acl's before their first pro season. Jordan Shipley's college stats are mind blowing. In 2008 he caught 89 passes and scored 11 TD's. In his senior season at Texas this All American stud caught 116 passes and scored 13 TD's.!!!!Castefootball raved about him back when.. He was also a great punt and kick returner who ran back the famous kick vs Oklahoma in the Red River rivalry. He got drafted a bit late tore his acl right after the draft and was never the same. He had one decent season with the Bengals and that is all she wrote. The whole thing made me physically sick because he was so exciting in college. Same goes for Jared Abberderis. Even though his college career was not quite as fantastic as Shipley's it was still in the All American category. Currently not on a roster he suffered a torn acl before his rookie season and it seems never could get back on track. Certainly was not given ample oppurtunities to show what he could do--I guess there is an outside shot someone gives him another look? He caught 78 passes his senior year at Wisconsin in 2013 and torched Ohio State's All American CB Roby.
Still these guys while in college represented hope. What do we have today? Josh Smith of Tennessee who at this point of the season has 9 catches for 53 yards? They never throw to him when he is open but do throw to him when he is covered go figure. The point is that is what is going on in power five conference schools today---- dead white wide receivers. I don't know it just seems to me to get bleaker and bleaker. Even Chris Hogan( news alert a white guy is allowed to go deep) just turned 28. He was sitting around for several years twiddling his thumbs as coaches barely played him. Well at least this past week in the NFL showed some improvement as Jordy looked like his old self at times and Janis caught some balls. Too bad Green Bay lost. I sometimes wonder if black teammates let up if the white skill guys are having big days? Locker room togetherness--is it color blind?
