Thanks Shadowlight, I really appreciate it. I love watching college basketball!

Tobey got 18 points and 7 rebounds (I believe) in just 20 minutes of game time. I wonder what happened with him? He used to start and play way more as a sophomore than a junior or senior.

I'll be cheering for Syracuse against Virginia; they have their two white guys on the court for over half the game for the most part. Even though they knocked off Gonzaga, the Orange are still the 2nd most white-friendly team left for us after Notre Dame. The Irish have gotten a lot better, both for us, and as a basketball team, when they inserted point guard Matt Farrell into the starting lineup the first game of the NCAA tourney.

I find it funny that you mentioned Mykhailiuk for Kansas. I've been frustrated at his complete lack of playing time at Kansas; he needs to go pro or transfer IMO. He's got a lot of talent, but will Self continue spurning him? I can't stand Kansas. I'm guessing a certain recruit noticed this. Native Kansan recruit Mitchell Ballock, a Top 50 shooting guard for 2017, spurned Kansas and committed to Creighton instead. Wichita product Connor Frankamp transferred from Kansas and is now at Wichita State.
Yes it does seem Self is developing a rep. I would prefer Ballock at a big school for exposure--he can leap-lets hope he explodes at Creighton---if Myka is pulled in and out of games like a yo yo next year then cripes. They do have an athletic PF Lightfoot coming in but will he get a chance to play? Given recent history probably not.

He'll probably be over-recruited like Frankamp was after one season when he actually played pretty well. I find it weird, because Self has usually played a few white guys during his tenure.. Sasha Kaun, Cole Aldrich, Tyrel Reed, Jeff Withy, Brady Morningstar, Conner Teehan. I guess, like Roy Williams in regards to white players at UNC, he's forgotten those guys.

Didn't watch a minute of the game and only remembered it was a thing thanks to a thought bubble in my head at around 11:25pm, needing to change the channel after the post-Wrestlemania episode of pro wrestling. Arcidiacono had a nice tally of 16 points along with two assists (Villanova had only six assists all game!!!). What kind of team scores 77 points, wins, and has only 6 assists??? I'm glad I tuned this one out.

Arcidiacono had the game-winning assist, btw... he put his head down and drove at the top of the key in transit and pretty much handed off an uncontested shot to the "hero" Kris Jenkins. I hope I'm right that he gets some NBA money, even as a "reliable backup." He's very experienced at facilitating the glory of black teammates. I searched google and zero mock drafts list him, even in the second round. Maybe he can pull a "Pat Connaughton" and be the most athletic player in the draft so that he can sit the bench for a couple seasons on a middling team of tall, lean pot-addicts.

One would think with his stellar career topped by a stellar tournament and a national championship win that he'd be a lock to get drafted.. We won't hold our breathe though. I think Arcidiacono can make an NBA roster. No offense to TJ McConnell a good player in his own right, but if he can make it so can Archy who is bigger and better scorer.

Yes he looks like a Steady Eddie type pro that could be on a roster for years. I think playing in the NBA for this level of player is overrated he needs to make as much money as he can before he goes on with the rest of his life. If he can make more than the league minimum in Europe or Israel or Asia than he should play in one of those leagues.

LOL that is almost exactly the same train of thought I had! No offense to TJ McConnell, but Ryan seems bigger and better. Since there is a zero-sum rule for American whites in the NBA, it's "out with the old, in with the new."

I missed the Final Four and Championship game because I don't have cable. I guess there were a total of 4 White starters in the final 4, and 1 in the finals. Ironically, the lone White, Arcidiacono, was named MVP of the Final Four. On the bright side, despite not watching college basketball all season, I won a 20 man bracket pool - the prize was a $25 gift card, lol.

Naturally, I couldn't have cared less about this game...but it was nice to see the only white player named MVP and see Villanova defeat the all-chocolate Tar Babies, who's infantile DWF's are likely in a state of deep mourning today. Haha, good for them...

UNC is fortunate to still be an accredited university. OF COURSE Roy Williams "doesn't know" of these mysterious mail-order classes about black power taught by nubian professors who don't exist. Tom Wolfe couldn't even imagine the fiction in a Roy Williams-led UNC university. It's absolutely outlandish.

Villanova is a rough choice as a foil, but they are wonderful against those black power masters.

Oh yeah, a white boy got the MVP... affirmative action, anyone? Should we go on strike?

Don't know if the fact that Wisconsin was mostly White and Duke regarded as a White team even though it wasn't last year, accounts for the Wisconsin-Duke final drawing considerably more TV viewers than the finals game this year and the one two years ago:

For the second year in a row, the NCAA Championship television ratings broke records–just not in a good way. Unfortunately for all parties, 2016 was the least-watched men’s basketball title game in at least 18 years.

This comes as a bit of a surprise, considering that the finish has been widely lauded as the most exciting finish in tournament history, and belongs in the discussion of best sports finish of all time.

Yet Villanova’s buzzer-beating victory over North Carolina averaged just a 10.6 fast nationals market share, and just 17.8 million total viewers. That’s down 37 percent from the 28.3 million who watched Duke-Wisconsin in 2015 and down 16 percent from the 21.3 million from UConn-Kentucky in 2014.

I would have won about $500 if North Carolina had won. I had them winning it all in one of the pools I was in, though it was very hard rooting for an all black team to win. But a lot of the sting in losing the money was mitigated by Arch winning the MVP. He definitely has NBA talent. He was the Catholic Ten co-MVP last year and the Final Four MVP. He is a 6-4 point guard. Obviously he can play.
