I'll start it off on a negative note by linking to an article carried today in the local rag. It illustrates two of the reasons I have a hard time following baseball anymore -- way too much money and greed in the sport, and too many non-American "hispanics," especially of the a-hole variety. The two mentioned in this article probably know next to nothing about the cities they play their home games in, and certainly have no loyalty to them or their fans, yet DWFs still wanna believe.

Baseball keep sending the wrong message to its fans, with everything from overpriced spring training games to Yoenis Cespedes putting on a luxury car show

I recently read an article where current Blue Jay, Troy Tulowitski, said he was glad to get away from the Rockies because they had become "soft" and attributed a lot of that to their new Spring training facilities in Arizona where it was like a big country club and all of the players were extremely pampered and catered to. He also said that management there is completely dishonest and lied to his face about their plans for him right before they traded him to Toronto. He said he will never talk to them again. He's become one of my favorite MLB players not only because he excels at a Caste position, but seems to have a lot of "old school" integrity.

Baseball is the one sport I enjoy (not really a hockey fan) where there are enough white players to make it enjoyable to follow. There is quite a bit of ridiculousness and the money is absurd - i do agree there. I don't think it's anymore ridiculous than Football or Basketball though. I will do a write up on on our guys to watch in 2016 in a few weeks once the rosters become a little more defined.

I spent a decent amount of my day prepping for my fantasy baseball drafts/doing research on white players. I have my raw breakdowns of alot of our players by position - from superstars, solid every day players to the fringe roster/roleplayer types to some young guys that could make an impact this season. I was going over in my head how I should present the data when I do my quick baseball preview. I don't plan on doing it until next week so any input on what fellow baseball fans would like to see - let me know and I will try my best to get my information lined up as accurate as possible.

I was at the gym this morning and BSPN was doing it's latest cultural Marxist push by making the MLB game between the Cubs and Rays played in Cuba as a platform to import more cuban players to the MLB (like most of the ones in the MLB now haven't amounted to much anything). From what I could tell they were also playing up how poor of a country Cuba is, yet at the same time seem to have no problem holding Cuba's commie leader Castro in high regard. Just another example of how the looney left sticks its perverseness into any sport it can at any opportunity.

Anyone following the saga of Adam LaRoche and his son? I'm only casually interested but it's hard to avoid since it's in the news a lot, but I think management is completely in the right. It's one thing to bring a child around his dad's workplace now and then, but constantly? It has to put a damper on how the rest of the players interact with each other in the locker room and is bound to create resentment over time. I heard just now that when each member of the White Sox was having their picture taken, LaRoche insisted on having his son in his. Seems to be taking it to the point of creepiness. And another member of the White Sox supposedly called LaRoche a leader of the team -- not Adam but his son! Cut me a break, feels like more scenes from the very dysfunctional society America has become. Adam's heart is undoubtedly in the right place, but he took it to an extreme.

I won't be watching many Brewers games this year. They're going to be cellar dwellers in the competitive NL Central. Lucroy,Braun,Gennett, that's about it. Rest of team is Dominican/Black. Starting pitching is a joke. Braun is a fraud.

BSPN has added a quite annoying female broadcaster to their team. I believe she announced some games last year and was met with some annoyance by many viewers. Of course BSPN does not care and continues to push it's idiotic agenda.

I've seen several random people complain about this on Twitter. It started few years ago when they started integrating women into announcing crews for basketball and football games. Now it's on to America's past time. Nothing can be strictly male anymore and they especially hate white males.

It's only a few games into the season but Trevor Story has come out on fire hitting 4 hrs so far. Hopefully he becomes the heir apparent to the departed Tulowitzki at shortstop for Colorado.

That sports expert and cultural icon Bill Maher shows some hate for the best player in the game. He is an expert on being a douchebag and a dick.

http://www.breitbart.com/video/2016...ms-nationals-of-bryce-harper-a-dchebag-a-dck/
HBO host and New York Mets minority owner Bill Maher had some choice words for Mets division rival and Washington Nationals star outfielder Bryce Harper while a guest on AM 710 in New York radio show “The WOR Sports Zone” with Pete McCarthy.

Harper, who won the National League Most Valuable Player award in 2015 at the age of 22, has recently been in the news for wanting to “Make Baseball Fun Again,” which has not helped him garner any love from Maher because it is a play on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s slogan.

“There’s a couple of words that I really can’t say on public radio that I think apply to him, but next to them I see a picture of Bryce Harper, I really do. I just don’t like that guy at all. It’s not surprising to me that he’s flirting with Donald Trump’s candidacy,” Maher said. “He’s a douchebag. He looks like a douchebag. I just don’t like him.”

Bryce Harper homered in his 4th consecutive opener which has to be some kind of record.

Trevor Story has now homered in all 4 games, a total of 6 so far, he's on a pace for a 243 homer season.

Oh for goodness sake Kyle Schwarber is out for the season with a torn MCL and LCL. He is going to be a good one, I hope he comes back okay from this injury.

Trevor Story with home run number 7 in game number 6. He's on an unreal tear right now. It's almost too obvious and cliche to compare him to a young Tulo but it really fits.

Looks like my 0-8 Braves have harkened back to their cellar dweller days of 1990...the year before their "worst to first" World Series run. This Gonzales mug couldn't hold the (managerial) "jockstrap" of Bobby Cox.

The Braves need a better musical motif than FSU's tomahawk chant which they ripped off in that "worst to first" run when they had Deion. With 50,000 chanters echoing through Fulton County Stadium or 40k through the Ted, it sounds like a retarded Gregorian chant. I recommend the intro to Cher's "Half Breed" - problem is, my suggested "chopping" speed is so fast it looks like hammering (or sprinkling salt), and you can't chant to it.

Jake Arrieta has now won 16 straight games, the longest streak in 10 years, and the Cubs and their young White stars are off to a 16-5 start.

The Nationals Max Scherzer racks up 20ks against his former team Detroit!!

http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/05/1...ord.html?_r=0&referer=https://www.google.com/

Yeah I watched that one. I was a big Scherzer fan back when he was with the Tigers but I was cheering him on in this one.

As great as Scherzers performance was there was perhaps a better one by a pitcher on the same day. Noah Syndergaard, nickname "Thor" had a nearly as rare feat.

Baseball was far and away my favorite sport growing up, but over time I began losing interest, and now follow it very little, mainly to see how White players are doing.

Sports Illustrated (from a Cultural Marxist Perspective) had an interesting article recently on this year's trends. Through May 1, 38.2% of all runs scored this season have come on home runs, the highest percentage ever, even more than during the Steroids Era.

The reliance on homers is because baseball more and more is becoming a "homer or strike out" game. Strikeouts are up to 21.5% of plate appearances, also the highest rate ever, while walks are at the lowest rate in half a century. Batters are now hitting singles in less than 15% of at-bats, the lowest rate ever. And, stolen bases are at the lowest level in 44 years.

SI writes that "teams have become reliant on home runs because there is no other reliable way to score. Stringing hits together has become an uphill battle. Rallies are snuffed out by strikeouts that increase in frequency as the situation becomes more important."

How sad. Rallies -- stringing hits together -- bunts, hitting to the opposite field to advance runners, sacrifice flies, choking up on the bat to make contact and other strategies to get on base and generate runs -- is the essence of baseball. Now it's swing for the fences on every pitch and either hit a home run or strike out.

Sports Illustrated of course doesn't criticize this state of affairs, which is caused by a drastic decline in fundamentals, which in turn has been caused by MLB's pandering to minorities, particularly hispanics from Central America, many of whom are ungrateful, arrogant punks. There are other factors, such as BSPN showing little but home runs, which encourages players to try to hit them to make that night's highlights and land big contracts.

SI and the rest of the sports media rarely decry the decline in fundamentals and discipline in sports, for obvious reasons. Hell, they want that state of affairs as part of the agenda to bring down White culture and its freedoms and meritocracy and replace it with a third worldish society that can be much more easily controlled and manipulated. About the only thing they'll bemoan is a supposed lack of quality quarterbacks in the NFL, which just happens to be the one glamorous White position left in football, the one that drives the anti-White hive bonkers with hatred and jealousy.

Interestingly, the Kansas City Royals resurgence has been entirely based on the "little" game, stringing hits together, adroit baserunning and stellar defense.

Declining fundamentals in sports and in all aspects of life in Western Civilization. I especially agree with your middle paragraph regarding The fading strategy in baseball. Making America's past time a glorified homerun derby isn't good for the game. Do you have the link for that article Don? I'd like to share it, thanks.
