I gotta believe Chip Kelly will do everything possible to keep developing Blaine Gabbert, who shocked his vast army of media and DWF haters with how well he played at times last season, including being quite a runner. Kaepernick may be a bit more "athletic," but there's a reason nobody wants him and it has to do with IQ and attitude. From weenieworld, which of course still rips on Gabbert:

49ers coach Chip Kelly said he has been "impressed" by Blaine Gabbert. "He’s big," Kelly said. "He’s a 6-4, 245-pound guy that can really run. I thought the last part of the season he played really well. It’ll be intriguing to work with him, too." Gabbert showed surprising competence early in his starting run last season, but he struggled to make plays and took too many sacks down the stretch. Only 26, it is possible Kelly turns Gabbert's career around, but the first-round bust is who he is at this point. Even if the 49ers move on from Colin Kaepernick, Gabbert should be nothing more than a stopgap.

I would love to see Blaine Gabbert get the starting job again. It would free up money to go after some offensive talent to help the kid out. Also as you said, Chip Kelly can help Gabbert to take the next steps to become a better qb. I think he can be a very good starter but he just needs to play more. Believe in the kid, make a few minor adjustments and watch him grow into a star.

If that isn't their typical, shameless, anti-White drivel I don't know what is...

It's amazing how the media and DWFs have done a total 180 on Chip Kelly - he was supposed to lead a new style of offense in the NFL that was supposed to take the "QB Revolution" to the mainstream and employ black QBs league wide. Every non-white QB was a perfect fit for his offense. He never capitulated and was deemed a failure even though he has a winning record in the NFL.

Gabbert seems to have the exact skillset needed to run the offense, he is an outcast himself and was written off as a bust. It will be interesting if the pariah Chip Kelly will give the outcast Gabbert a fair shot. The media's perfect fit for the Chip Kelly offense is one the 49ers offense - Toucan Krapernick and just like most blacks that seem to be on a Chip Kelly team he is being a malcontent and wants out - gotta love that irony. I hope Kelly is having a racial awakening of his own at the NFL level. This draft will give the 49ers 12 picks - the most of any team so hopefully the 49ers change the racial composition some. We all know how many white players have been having great pro day showings - hopefully Chip is paying attention.

I'm glad to hear that Jordan Kovacs is still in the mix as a professional player. I figured his fruitless tenure with the Miami Dolphins was a little hat-tip from prominent Michigan donor/alum and Dolphins owner, the mighty billionaire jew Stephen M. Ross. Kovacs was a walk-on at U of M during the first tumultuous post-Lloyd Carr season in 2009 (Rich Rodriguez gets credit for pulling him up and eventually starting him). Jordan's excellent performance throughout the program's hard times led to a few calls for his jersey number to be retired (!) under former coach Brady Hoke's weird practice of slapping "retro" retired numbers on current players... in other words, an honorary "Jordan Kovacs jersey" for the scrappy, over-achieving players throughout time immemorial. Kovacs even gets named to those pointless hypothetical DWF 'nostalgia' teams in the backfield over the past ten or twenty years!

Hoke is long-gone: Kovacs honored Michigan's then-head coach with these tongue-in-cheek quotes from the team's senior banquet:

Just for the record, I look better than accountant, and if Coach Hoke keeps humiliating me, I'm no longer going to hold his hand on the sideline.

I'd first like to thank (Rich) Rodriguez for allowing a slow, unathletic and undersized kid a chance to play football at the University of Michigan. That was really nice of him to allow Drew Dileo to play football here.

"I'd like to thank (the training staff) for all the voo-doo they performed on me, and a special thanks to (trainer Paul Schmidt) for kicking me off the team (because I failed a physical), because trying out for this team once simply wasn't enough.
....
"I'd like to thank you guys and the rest of the fans as I developed from a young, slow, physically insufficient football player to an old, slow, physically insufficient football player.

Kovacs has amazingly survived the Caste System as a college walk-on, and UDFA. He was labeled unathletic, yet at Michigan's Pro Day he beat uber-athletic, ultra-dynamic Denard Robinson in both the three cone drill and 20 yard shuttle.

Good to see Prosinski get resigned. The Bears are likely to draft a safety, as they do every off season, but Chris should be in the mix.

With Abdullah out in KC, I'd assume Sorenson has the inside track to start, as he has been very impressive during the last offseason; of course, they'll probably draft a couple safeties, for 'competition'. He'll be the frontrunner, but they'll make it as difficult as possible.

Good to see Kovacs catch on somewhere after the Dolphins foolishly cut him last offseason. As inept as Miami's secondary has been over the last few seasons, I can't imagine it would have hurt to give him a shot.

Does anyone know whatever happened to k state safety ty Zimmerman? I pictured him as a future starter.

Sounds like the blackos are still pursuing krapernick as their toucan nosed replacement for Manning and Osweiler. I feel bad for Kubiak who has been one of the more white friendly coaches to have to deal with the self hating white John elway as the gm.

Pats sign dt Markus Kuhn

So now they have signed Long, Mclellin and Kuhn, all White veterans who have a decent chance to start. If I didn't know better I would say they are stockpiling these guys. Looks like BB is doubling down on White players. It will be very interesting to see what they do with the draft.

I didn't see that but apparently they have interest in Johnny Football. Kubiak has always been fair.

Broncos sign DE Jared Crick to a two-year contract. Good move by Kubiak who was familiar with him while at Houston. Shows he has confidence in him to bring him to Denver:
http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_29733206/defensive-end-jared-crick-agrees-two-year-deal-broncos

According to the reports Crick signed a two year deal for 4 million. That's two million a year.

What a steal. Getting a quality starting defensive end at such a price is a great deal for the Broncos.

If Crick was black I'm sure he would have been signed for more than what he got.

In some good news Dennis Pitta is making a comeback against injury. I think his prescence will help the young Maxx Williams. I also expect Watson to flop in Baltimore.

Also unheralded Safety Jeff Heath was signed to a 4 year deal by the Cowboys.

Pretty good career for Devito, undrafted guy out of Maine!
