Thug-boy, Junior Galette, done for the season with achillies, permitting Trent Murphy to start at OLB...

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13...skins-practice

With this injury, Washington’s “white starter quotient” now rises to a measly 4 players…

C – Lichtensteiger
RG – Scherff
LOLB – Kerrigan
ROLB – Murphy

imrs.php

CAPTION: Murphy and Kerrigan - Bookend OLB's

Overall, approximately 13 whites should make the 53-man roster for this bottom-dwelling squad…

QB – Cousins, McCoy
TE – Carrier
OL – Lichtensteiger, Scherff, LeRibeus, Long

OLB – Murphy, Kerrigan
ILB – Compton

K – Forbath
P – Tress
LS - Sundberg

I thought RG3 was injured.

He supposedly got a concussion in last week's game. Another convienent excuse. After he was "injured" the debate has been why Gruden kept him in the game to risk him to injury. Its constant excuses for this guy. Meanwhile Cousins has been on fire and McCoy has been be very good as well but since they are white they are written off.

Overlooked in all of this brouhaha surrounding Gremlin and Cousins is that Colt McCoy actually had the highest QB rating of the bunch in preseason and the highest completion percentage. Not to mention that last year he wasn't pulled from a game because of performance issues, but only because of a neck injury. It's a good problem for Redskins fans to have, two white QB's that can get the job done, and one mascot. :twitch:

McCoy is the forgotten man in this saga for sure. He came in and played well last year. I do hope Cousins starts the season hot and gets a fair shot before getting pulled but I think McCoy is the next man up if Cousins falters.
