From 2005-2013, these black loving losers have started 6, 8, 9, 8, 8, 6, 5, and 4 white players. Therefore, it doesn't come as a surprise that nobody bothered with a preview for this team last year. Well, since Chris Peterson is now the head coach, I decided to give them a run. This being only his 2nd year, I'll give him 1-2 more years for Sarkisian's guys to get out of the team before I judge Peterson, as Sarkisian always had overwhelmingly black classes while at UDub. With black QB Cyler Miles done, it looks like Sarkisian's QBs of choice are gone already. Junior Jeff Lindquist will take over the reigns for the Husky offense. Unfortunately, he won't have any white targets to throw to, as most of the WRs and the TE's on the depth chart are upperclassman. One area that won't be devoid of white players is the offensive line, which from what I can tell, have been mostly white recruits since Peterson took over.
On defense, although I'd like to see a few more white guys, Peterson has been bringing in 2-4 each class, which is a great class in this modern era of many teams implementing a no-whites policy. They'll (hopefully) be filtering up soon enough as the upperclassmen leave. There may be only four white starters again, but whites are beginning to filter up on the depth chart. The entire OL 2 deep (with the exception of LT) are white. All of the QBs are white as well. The two non-white OL are seniors, and will be gone next year, as will starting TE. A few whites should may play on defense are NT Greg Gaines, DL Shane Bowman and Will Dissly, and ILB Sean Constantine. Although it may be hard to see now, I believe Peterson will definitely be an improvement over Sarkisian in the long run. 6 white starters this year for the Huskies.
Offense
QB - Jeff Lindquist, KJ Carta-Samuels, or Jake Browning
TE - Drew Sample (co-starter)
LT - Coleman Shelton
LG - Jake Eldrenkamp
RG - Shane Brostek
RT - Matt James or Kaleb McGary
