It's hard to have much confidence in New England right now. But then again there's no clear favorite in the AFC, maybe they can pull it off again if their overachieving receivers are back for the playoffs. Whatever happens, if the Patriots go hard-core black again in their '16 draft while Brady, Edelman, Amendola, etc., get another year older, well. . . will there be a single team to root for in a year or two? Just individual players maybe.

The White guys on Minnesota's defense are playing very well so far. They are making tackles left and right.

Rabbi Al and Crissy have been heaping lots of praise on Jordy Nelson. They've highlighted how GB has struggled without him and the huge numbers he put up last season.

At the beginning of the season, when Green Bay's offense was still running well, Jordy's absence was barely noticed, but as the season went on, it became obvious just how valuable he is. And to think he started off in the league as a "possession receiver," back when the Green Bay front office wasn't completely spineless like it is now. Just think, he easily could have been completely ignored by the NFL or consigned to a backup role.

Hopefully Jordy comes back strong next season and has some good years left.

No you are correct, they were the most White friendly team in the league this season if you go by total number of whites on the roster. At the beginning of the season they had 22 on the 53 man roster, which is 42%.

Thielen with the big end around run. He's now up to 67 yards rushing on the day.

He might have the highest non-quarterback single game rushing high for a White guy this season.....I don't think Woodhead reached that mark rushing.

Sad state of affairs in the Caste NFL especially with Zenner and Varga hurt. Gerhart ineffective before getting hurt. Burkhead a special teamer. Woodhead a slot back basically. Etc. Etc.

Seattle would destroy either of these teams if they meet in the playoffs. Pete's plantation is unfortunately among the favorites to reach the SB this year. There's really no one to root for in the NFC, more of a case of who to root against, which is the 3 teams with a black quarterback.

Things are slightly better on the AFC side. I'm doubtful that NE can get all of their injured starters back and flip a switch to play better. Houston is a team to root for, but they don't have the QB play needed a this level to make a deep playoff run.

The absolutely horrendous possibility of a SEA-PIT SB is real because the NYJ failed to take care of business against fat Rex.

GB is going to get steamrolled in the POs. So tired of their GM and HC love affair with affelets. They had optimum success in 2010 with White players. Packers are sinking fast. Wouldn't be surprised if Washington wins next week. Wouldn't mind it either they haven't played good ball this year. I'm almost ready for their off-season to start as they have a lot of rebuilding to do.

First: drop some dead weight. Guys like Raji, Guion, Heyward, James Jones are expendable.Second they need to go back to their roots when drafting. They could use young white linemen, an athletic TE, and hell add a few more pale faces in their front 7. They need a playmaker at RB too bad McCaffreys not available.

I don't see Minnesota making it too far. At least the Skins are hot right now and what a great story that is behind Cousins proving all the talking heads wrong. We also don't have to worry about a black quarterback vs black quarterback Super Bowl either as no AFC teams with a starting black quarterback made the playoffs. As a matter of fact the only starting black quarterback in the AFC as of now is Tynog Taylor. With any luck he'll be shut down and benched early next season but I won't hold my breath with Rex Ryan at the helm.

Packers don't even have a number 2 receiver without Nelson, strange to think that Jared cannot even make the field. I don't think the Packers played to actually win last night, I think they wanted to play well enough if the game landed in their laps they would take the W but other than that they wanted to look competent enough in a few phases of the game so as to not demoralize themselves. So they go on the road thru teams they match up well enough with and hope to sneak it out while the Seahawks rip up their half of the matchups then they meet in GB. Yeah I'm an optimist. Anyway everyone recognizes the value of Kuhn and he if you ask me keyed the solid portions of what offense they could muster, his blocking helped the run, his chipping in the second half keyed the better plays where Rogers could find his Velcro shoed wideouts and his receiving and running were pure football (no one wants to tackle him). If you ask me the coach only showed so much last night it was a strategic move on his part.

So I'm watching the Denver/San Diego game I recorded, and I feel like I'm watching a blooper video. First, a Charger DB, I think his name was Ducre, literally watches as Demarius Thomas catches a pass and runs right by him for 50+ yards. Moments later, this Ducre guy decides to catch a perfect Scifres punt and tumble into the endzone for a touchback instead of tossing it in the field for a teammate to down. So Denver takes over, and Emmanuel Sanders makes a great play, but right on cue, attempts an awkward spin move and gets stripped and turns the ball over. Now the Chargers have the ball and are in business, suddenly one of their sumos loses his shoe. He then proceeds to stomp his foot into the shoe like a 3 year old would. The Chargers have to burn a timeout because this clumsy oaf cant bend over untie the shoe, put it on his fat foot, and retie the thing. It takes three Charger trainers to get the shoe back on this imbecile's foot. On the ensuing Denver possession, Osweiller throws a perfect pass to some Norwood guy; the ball pops off of his chest and is intercepted. Without hesitation, Nantz and Simms, I kid you not, suggest that Osweiller 'threw the ball too hard'. At this point, I decided to cut my losses, turn this trash off, and go for a jog. By the way, all of this happened in the first quarter.
Sadly, this is what the NFL will be in a few years if something doesn't change quickly. Mistakes here and there are one thing, but this is a farce.
