The news today is that Beckham was being taunted with "homophobic" slurs. Like that is any excuse for his behavior. Besides that, I thought that it was good, admirable, even superior to be a degenerate, abnormal, deviant poofter in this day and age. He should have been thanking Norman for the compliments!:grin:

Another humorous excuse for Beckham Jr. behaving like a deranged crack head is that the Panthers were swinging a baseball bat during pre-game warm-ups, threatened Beckham with the bat, and he "feared for his safety," LOL...

The Panthers carried a black baseball bat onto the field at MetLife Stadium for pregame warm-ups and, according to sources, one of their players swung it menacingly at Beckham and others made homophobic comments to the Giants receiver prior to the game. Perhaps that explains the state of mind the second-year receiver was in as he engaged in several altercations with Carolina cornerback Josh Norman, attracted three personal-foul penalties and nailed Norman with a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit, a series of altercations that got Beckham suspended one game Monday by the NFL.

Aside from the "homophobic" slurs, the Panthers DB's made some pretty un-PC comments about OBJ after the game, implying that he celebrates like a ballerina/female/homo, which he does...

The Panthers certainly opened some eyes with their postgame, politically incorrect rip job of Beckham. Norman said, “If you’re gonna come out here and dance around and prance around like you’re a ballerina …,’’ and teammate Cortland Finnegan explained Beckham’s emotions thusly: “Maybe it’s female-related. Maybe it’s in the blood.’’

The weak-minded rich/preppy/privileged black boy, Beckham Jr., wouldn't last a day as a white player in the NFL, where infinite taunts and threats by black players go unpunished.

The whole Beckham situation is hilarious. The media created poster boy for the NFL is weak minded and has no resolve so they are coming up with stories about baseball bats and homophobic slurs to try and rationalize his actions to make him seem like the good guy in this whole thing. Beckham is overrated and the media coverage of his one handed catch has further devolved football fundamentals as I see week in and week out in both college and pro football receivers trying mimic him and usually drop the ball.

I wonder if Beckham's camp will throw a curveball to the nfl and have him come out as second openly gay down low buck to support the story about the bat and slurs. He can say he felt discriminated etc and have all the gay groups in the country back him while they all fall down on the nfl. This would be the easiest way for him to repair him image as a dirty player all while creating a new image that might make corners in the nfl hesitate to go near him and force the refs to give him special treatment. I wonder how many times Beckham's one-handed catch last year has been shown by BSPN and the NFL Network since. 10,000? 100,000? I know it's all but impossible to watch an NFL game and not see it at least once.

Anything blacks do is "cool" no matter the negative effect it has on fundamentals, which is why attempts at one-handed catches will become more and more prevalent. Until 30 or so years ago, baseball outfielders caught the ball with two hands, with their free hand closing over the hand with the mitt to lessen the chance of the ball popping out. Now that fundamental technique is long gone, replaced by the one-handed catch. Of course a football is much harder to catch one-handed than a baseball, but it doesn't matter, because one-handed attempts just look so cool. It's a typical Caste System ploy -- glorify the splashy plays by blacks while ignoring the many routine ones they botch.

Such as this horrendous drop on Sunday where he turns his hands the wrong way (as if he were catching a fast-moving comeback route) to catch a ball that is arcing softly downward...

If you ever watch the NFL Films documentary on Coughlin after he was fired in Jacksonville he basically spent a year taking pointers from the more successful coaches in the league. Most of these guys let the inmates run the asylum. Also when Coughlin was on the verge of being fired in New York he "realized" he was still too gruff with the players.

The lines he spewed about it being a coaching lesson seems like the blarney Plantation Pete or Fat Rex would spew.

Great post. The video clip gave me a good laugh.

I don't ever think Beckham was a good guy though - I think the NFL and media identified him as the new face of the NFL after his one handed catch to be honest. BSPN just took that and ran with it. I have already said my piece on what that has done to even further decrease the presence of fundamentals in football.

Coughlan is like 75% percent of the rest of the NFL head coaches. Placate the negroes and hope for the best. LOL. The exceptions to this rancid group are BB, Gruden and the head coaches of Texas and Eagles (I'm fading right and can't focus on their names). LOL

Gloves are kinda like modern-day stickum. The grip is very good. I doubt Beckham could have made his endlessly-shown one-handed grab without them. When my son played ball, he wore gloves because they gave a consistent grip, unlike bare hands that might be dry or sweaty. And like all kids, he liked them because they looked cool. We did make sure that they fit perfectly, or it defeated the purpose. He couldn't throw with them, though. If he did halfback option plays, he had to take one off, a sure tip-off to observant defenders.

Beckham's an overrated, over-hyped "1 hit wonder" who sure as heck looks like a fa99ot....so I'd not be surprised if 'he' is.
